It was an ok stay but for us we didn’t realise we booked when the football was on and the away fans had pretty much booked the hotel and to say it was noisy was an understatement. Staff were friendly enough but didn’t ask us if we wanted Breakfast or if we had stayed there before so seemed pretty sub standard and not really that invested in what they were doing. We had planned to use the pool but some local kids sneaked in and used it making it loud and unusable during our stay they were just causing problems and the hotel didn’t act. This is the biggest failing the hotel fails to act we had loud guests door slamming music playing loud football fans going mad till 4am and nothing was done about it. The beds were not that comfy as sadly neither of us had a good nights sleep on top of the noise by others the rooms offered no sound proofing. No air conditioning which is crazy in this day and age and not even a fan in the room, when we asked for one we just got laughed at and told good luck with that by housekeeping. This places lacks staff that care or take pride in their work. The bathroom had no fan so when used steam went everywhere and the water pressure and temperature was terrible it wasn’t overly clean so couldn’t use the bath. Only thing going for this hotel is it’s location but we wouldn’t use it again as the rooms need a lot of TLC and the staff need extra training more so on the communication front. Upon check out we weren’t even asked did we enjoy our stay as we wanted to raise our concerns.

Schön mit meinem Freund in einem Zwillingszimmer. Ich denke, das Zimmer reflektierte den Preis, den wir gezahlt haben, obwohl es geräumig war ein wenig gejadet. Super sauberes Badezimmer & Bett, komfortable Betten & ausreichend Lagerung. Das Zimmer war dunkel, Netto-Gräben waren gebogen und die Papiertafel begann zu schütteln. Zimmer war hinter dem Hotel mit Blick auf Dachoberflächen. Der Rest des Hotels war gepflegt und mit einem schönen Essensraum und einem tollen Frühstück ausgestattet. Liebte die Lage des Hotels, sehr zentral & die alte Welt fühlt sich davon. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr zufrieden und hilfreich.

We had a comfortable stay with a spacious room and great amenities. However, there was a party in the lobby during our stay that made the area quite crowded and noisy. Despite that, we still had a good experience overall and would recommend it for families.

Staffs were friendly, and services were good but the hotel is old and needs some repairs. However, the location is wonderful, and the hotel had arranged movies for kids, bingo night and a dance night show to entertain families, so we spent both evenings in the hotel. The movie and dance nights are free to attend, however, you have to pay for bingo. Overall, it was a reasonable place to visit with family. They had a full English breakfast, but I didn't enjoy it because I am Gluten-free.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a great location, 5 minute walk from the city. Inside the hotel is amazing and quite grand. We choose a garden view room which was a bit small but the view was amazing, all the way to the minster. Breakfast can get a bit busy as the area is small but it was nice. The spa was lovely but again small and can get busy. Overall a beautiful hotel in an ideal location.

Sadly had three rooms due to some issues reguardless how clean they were and a smell coming from the bathroom, third room was ok and had a nice view over looking the sea and Scarborough harbour, pool and spa a nice touch and the staff were all friendly plenty of choice on the menu for food, just needs to address a few issues to make this worthy of it's 4 star rating and that to me should be considered luxury where as this felt more just above average but not luxury 3.5 / 5 location amazing staff amazing let down by the fire alarm going off which steam was to blame air vents were dirty this needs looking at, house keeping need to work more alongside maintenance to ensure issues are addressed. Safe in second room was broken but maintenance did sort this and were very friendly, reception and spa staff all excellent, can't comment on the food but had plenty of choice and had we not made plans we would of considered the curry night the hotel had on. Over all 3.5 / 5

Das Personal ist freundlich und freundlich. Der Parkplatz liegt am Rücken des Hotels. Es war eine nette und komfortabele Lage. Wir bleiben im Erdgeschoss, nur wenige Schritte nach oben, von der Rezeption. Es war sehr großartig, wir brauchen nicht das Sofabett zu fertig, sie waren vor unserer Ankunft gemacht. Nur die Reinigung ist etwas nicht bis zum Standard. Es gibt Nagelpolster auf dem Desktop und Kunststoff-Klip auf dem Boden. Es ist schön, Zahnbürsten und Rasen zu liefern. Aber keine Slips können liefern, das ist das einzige, was wir vergessen haben. Der Körper und die Handwasche sind verriegelt, es war leer im Dusche, wir mussten um die Rückfüllung anrufen. Wenn wir die einen aus dem Bassin bewegen können, dann brauchen wir nicht die Mitarbeiter stören. Das Schlimmste ist überhaupt kein Tonnachweis. Sie können jemanden außerhalb des Korridors und sogar an der nächsten Tür hören. Wir können die Gespräche der nächsten Tür klar hören.
