Review of Onna Resort, Okinawa About me: I’m a frequent flyer to Japan and a long-time fan of staying at villas and resorts across the country. I enjoy discovering different accommodations across Japan. This time, I chose Onna Resort for a relaxing group trip. ⸻ 👍 What I liked: • Spacious resort– Very roomy and comfortable, easily fits 7–8 people. Perfect for families or groups of friends. • Clean and well-maintained – The entire resort was spotless and felt well cared for. • View exactly as shown in photos – Stunning ocean view that matches the listing. Great for enjoying sunrise and sunset. • Beach nearby – A beach is within walking distance. While it may not be the best in Okinawa, it’s still nice for a stroll or quick swim. • Washer and dryer setup – Includes both a washer-dryer combo and a separate dryer, which is especially handy for drying towels and clothes after swimming. • Well-equipped kitchen – Good selection of cookware and appliances for preparing meals. • Private and quiet surroundings – Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests. ⸻ 👎 What could be improved: • Inconsistent check-in information – The email offered early check-in, and a staff member via video call said I could check in at 2pm. But when I arrived, another staff said it was 3pm. This communication gap should be addressed. • Missing basic items – No cups or glasses were provided, obviously an oversight by the cleaning staff. • Limited towel supply – Towels are provided strictly based on headcount. Given the proximity to the beach, it would be more convenient to offer a few extra towels without needing to ask. • Limited Coffee Supply - The resort provides coffee bags based on headcount as well, which was insufficient for guests who consume two or three cups daily. A more generous and considerate coffee supply would enhance the experience. • Insufficient tableware – Only two large plates were provided. It would be more practical to include additional small dishes, rice bowls, and condiment plates (e.g. for soy sauce or wasabi), especially for guests who plan to cook. • Lack of basic cooking ingredients – It would be helpful if staple items like cooking oil, salt, and pepper were provided to make meal preparation more convenient. • No power outlets near beds – Most sockets were located low on the wall and away from sleeping areas, making it inconvenient to charge phones or devices overnight. • Weak Wi-Fi signal in places – Internet connection was spotty in some areas of the villa, although it offers several wifi spots within the resort, but still weak

Nice place to stay! have 7-11 near by like you can walk here for 2 mins. The house is clean and have car park.

A great value stay for those on a budget—room are small but clean with the bonus of free parking. Conveniently located near shops and restaurants, and just across from the beach. The lunch buffet is a fantastic deal with good foodl. The hotel also offers coin laundry which is perfect for traveling light along with a microwave for heating up supermarket or convenience store meals. The hotel also not far from the tourist attractions.

The hotel is a sprawling entity in a fairly remote part of island. Golf courses are located between blocks of rooms so most guests go around in golf carts. The beach is ok for sunbathing but it's not a swimming beach as it's rocky. The swimming pools and beach areas are closed till end of March. Fitness room is open. There's an indoor pool but it's not free for hotel guests. No free parking too. The room is huge and has a good sea view and there is a private whirlpool on the balcony. Breakfast is a delicious mix of western and Japanese food. There are 3 restaurants to choose from.

Die Suche nach dem Eingang war anfangs etwas knifflig, da sich das Gebäude versteckt in einer Gasse befindet. Die Rezeption liegt, entgegen der üblichen Erwartung, nicht im Erdgeschoss, sondern in Zimmer 201 im zweiten Stock. Dort war nur eine Servicekraft anwesend, was den Bereich eher unkonventionell für eine Hotelrezeption erscheinen ließ. Man musste klingeln, um Einlass zu erhalten und nach oben zu gelangen. Die Person war aber sehr freundlich. Abgesehen von diesen anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten war ich mit allem anderen sehr zufrieden. Die Unterkunft liegt günstig in der Nähe eines Supermarkts. Das Zimmer selbst war hervorragend ausgestattet und bot alles, was man benötigt – inklusive Mikrowelle, Spüle, einigen Kochutensilien und einem recht großen Kühlschrank. Auch die Aussicht war sehr schön! Parkmöglichkeiten sind sowohl im Untergeschoss als auch auf einem angrenzenden freien Grundstück vorhanden. Insgesamt betrachtet ist der Preis absolut unschlagbar für das Gebotene – ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Daher kann ich diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Hotel Route Inn Nago was a pleasant surprise! The service was fantastic, really attentive and friendly. While the room wasn’t very big, it was clean and had all the necessary amenities. One of the highlights was the hot spring bath—it was super relaxing and a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. The included breakfast buffet had a wide variety to choose from. Overall, it was a nice stay, and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and cozy spot in Nago!

Das Hotel liegt in einer relativ ruhigen Gegend, ist aber mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Das Zimmer ist im traditionellen japanischen Stil gestaltet und kann für verschiedene Gästezahlen flexibel genutzt werden. Die Toilette stank etwas, war aber mit ihrer ständigen Belüftung im Allgemeinen akzeptabel. Einer der Mitarbeiter war freundlich und führte mich zu einem anderen Parkplatz, als der erste voll war. Insgesamt lieferte das Hotel die erwarteten Erträge zu einem recht günstigen Preis.

Es verfügt außerdem über eine Küche und eine Waschmaschine. Und sogar das Waschmittel! ! ! toll. Es war ein Hotel, in dem man mehrere Nächte übernachten konnte. Toilette und Bad sind getrennt und der Waschraum ist geräumig! Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass die Toilette klein war.

Ich würde sagen, es ist ziemlich alt, aber die Zimmer waren groß. Wir hatten ein Eckeszimmer mit eigener Küche, ein Sofa mit TV und 2 Einzelbetten. Wir wollten das Bett zunächst mit uns verbinden, da wir einen Toddler haben, aber es war keine lebensfähige Option, da die Bettrahmen an der Wand angeschlossen wurden. Das Zimmer ist ziemlich schmutzig, obwohl wir um die Reinigung des Zimmers gebeten haben, könnte ich den Boden stickig und staubig fühlen. Die Badewanne waren auch kalt und hatte Form am Boden (der Teil, der am häufigsten mit Wasser in Berührung kommt).
