Review of Onna Resort, Okinawa About me: I’m a frequent flyer to Japan and a long-time fan of staying at villas and resorts across the country. I enjoy discovering different accommodations across Japan. This time, I chose Onna Resort for a relaxing group trip. ⸻ 👍 What I liked: • Spacious resort– Very roomy and comfortable, easily fits 7–8 people. Perfect for families or groups of friends. • Clean and well-maintained – The entire resort was spotless and felt well cared for. • View exactly as shown in photos – Stunning ocean view that matches the listing. Great for enjoying sunrise and sunset. • Beach nearby – A beach is within walking distance. While it may not be the best in Okinawa, it’s still nice for a stroll or quick swim. • Washer and dryer setup – Includes both a washer-dryer combo and a separate dryer, which is especially handy for drying towels and clothes after swimming. • Well-equipped kitchen – Good selection of cookware and appliances for preparing meals. • Private and quiet surroundings – Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests. ⸻ 👎 What could be improved: • Inconsistent check-in information – The email offered early check-in, and a staff member via video call said I could check in at 2pm. But when I arrived, another staff said it was 3pm. This communication gap should be addressed. • Missing basic items – No cups or glasses were provided, obviously an oversight by the cleaning staff. • Limited towel supply – Towels are provided strictly based on headcount. Given the proximity to the beach, it would be more convenient to offer a few extra towels without needing to ask. • Limited Coffee Supply - The resort provides coffee bags based on headcount as well, which was insufficient for guests who consume two or three cups daily. A more generous and considerate coffee supply would enhance the experience. • Insufficient tableware – Only two large plates were provided. It would be more practical to include additional small dishes, rice bowls, and condiment plates (e.g. for soy sauce or wasabi), especially for guests who plan to cook. • Lack of basic cooking ingredients – It would be helpful if staple items like cooking oil, salt, and pepper were provided to make meal preparation more convenient. • No power outlets near beds – Most sockets were located low on the wall and away from sleeping areas, making it inconvenient to charge phones or devices overnight. • Weak Wi-Fi signal in places – Internet connection was spotty in some areas of the villa, although it offers several wifi spots within the resort, but still weak

Was impressed by the excellent service provided by Kim at the front desk, she handled our check-in efficiently. The rest of the team were also warm and friendly, and spoke fluent English. Something interesting was a self-serve room where you can get extra amenities like face wash and bar soaps, and also try different types of Okinawan brown sugar. There were lots of board games available so families would probably appreciate that. We truly enjoyed the view from our room as it had a good angle of the sea even though the hotel isn’t located at the beach. The room was huge and even had a freezer and an oven. For longer stays or if you’re visiting the beach often, the washer dryer would come in handy as well. The hotel had two restaurants for breakfast and although the variety was great, with a good mix of local and international cuisine, the quality could be improved. We had lunch on our first day and regretted our decision. Location-wise, the hotel would be better for those who intend to drive as it was quite a walk to the nearest bus stop, and the shuttle bus service was infrequent so we ended up not using it at all. Falls Sie mit dem Auto anreisen, finden Sie in der Nähe mehrere Restaurants, sodass Sie problemlos zu Abend essen können. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und meiner Meinung nach sogar sauberer als in teureren Hotels. Da der Strand direkt vor der Tür liegt, kann ich dieses Hotel empfehlen, wenn Ihnen ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wichtig ist.

Apartment im 7. Stock, strandnah gelegen. Direkt daneben befindet sich ein FamilyMart und ein Supermarkt ist ebenfalls in der Nähe. Das Zimmer verfügt über eine kleine Küche und eine Waschmaschine. Öl und Gewürze sind jedoch nicht vorhanden. Die Sehenswürdigkeit Ananas-Park ist gut erreichbar.

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Busbahnhofs und der Hauptstraße. In der Nähe gibt es nur wenige Einrichtungen, die Straßen in der Nähe sind dunkel und etwas unruhig. Das Hotel ist der hellste Ort und es gibt mehrere Restaurants in der Nähe. Hotel Route Inn Nago was a pleasant surprise! The service was fantastic, really attentive and friendly. While the room wasn’t very big, it was clean and had all the necessary amenities. One of the highlights was the hot spring bath—it was super relaxing and a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. The included breakfast buffet had a wide variety to choose from. Overall, it was a nice stay, and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and cozy spot in Nago!

Ich habe 3 Zimmer gebucht, aber die Zimmertypen sind unterschiedlich. com kann dies in puncto Komfort verbessern, denn die meisten Hotelwebsites verfügen nicht über diese Funktion und müssen separat gebucht werden.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön, aber alle Aktivitäten im Freien sind kostenpflichtig. Ein Unternehmen ist am Strand ansässig und verlangt Gebühren für die Nutzung des Wassers. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am Eingang wurde uns geholfen, die Tür zu öffnen und das Gepäck entgegenzunehmen.
