Location is everything here. And expectations have to be put straight. The apartment (to be fair, this isn't a hotel) is located steps from the subway line 6 which runs stright to downtown. For 34 USD per week, you can forget on Taxis and Ubers, it will get you anywhere within 30 mins. The neighborhood is a bit shady, but wouldn't say insecure. A large store is within 2 min walking distance, an overpriced bakery is next door. The apartment needs new beds (not just mattresses), and should be ”refreshed” a bit (the bathroom especially). It wasn't dirty, although based on our socks, it wasn't super clean also. We were also one night without heating and hot water, but it doesn't seem like this was owners fault and it was resolved in the morning. The check-in process could be easier, since it isn't like a hotel where you just show up (no reception), but rather you need to call/text few different numbers (which might get expensive if you are from outside of US). Overall, were happy with our stay, for that money and with the Airbnb ban, I doubt you will find better place for that price NYC. However, don't expect a hotel experience.

Although the lady checking me in was great and the staff friendly, when you live in a developed country, hot water at your hotel is non-negotiable.  It took 5 minutes of the water running just to get water that was tepid or warm at best.  And then the soap bottles were all empty.  I choose Hampton Inn for its consistency, not because it is the best.  They clearly did not meet expectations.

Das ist ein klassisches Hotel im Stil, sehr gut! Persönlich habe ich sogar das Luxusgefühl des Grand Carlton Hotels gefühlt. Diese Lage ist nur wenige Schritte von der Grand Central Street entfernt, Sie können die U-Bahn oder Taxi nach Times Square fahren. Die Umgebung des Hotels ist sehr ruhig, ähnlich wie die japanische Bridge und die Peking Bridge, es gibt keinen Geschäft wie DELI oder $1Pizza. Ich denke, es ist die Position von Erwachsenen. Das gesamte Hotel ist sehr modisch, mit hellen Details und vielen kleinen Überraschungen. Was mich am meisten beeindruckt hat, war das Endlosschleifenvideo im Aufzug. Es war wirklich erstaunlich. In der obersten Etage befindet sich ein Swimmingpool und eine Disco-Bar, in der Sie abends, wenn es sehr hoch ist, Spaß haben können! Die Schalldämmung des Hotels ist sehr gut, kein Grund zur Sorge Hygiene: Die Gänge sind sehr hell und die Beleuchtungskörper sind gut gewählt. Als wir das Zimmer betraten, roch es leicht muffig im Zimmer, was in den meisten Hotels akzeptabel ist. Ausstattung: Ich habe ein Kingsize-Bett, aber das Zimmer ist nicht sehr groß. Aber ich liebe das Innendesign! Es gibt eine Ottomane, ein langes Sofa und einen ovalen Tisch, der für zwei Personen zum Arbeiten und Schminken ausreicht. Besondere Erwähnung verdient sein Bett🛏! ! ! Das wird mir am meisten in Erinnerung bleiben, da ich in so vielen Hotels übernachtet habe! ! Scheint, als wüsste ich, welche Matratzenmarke es ist! Es ist so bequem! ! Disappointed by Poor Coordination Despite Great Location The location is fantastic, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, I faced major frustration during my stay. I extended one night under a separate booking and informed the front desk in advance. Despite assurances, I was locked out of my room twice and had to go up and down multiple times—only to be told they hadn’t taken my credit card. On top of that, the shower gel wasn’t refilled. For a hotel of this standard, such lapses are unacceptable. The manager did offer free breakfast for two as service recovery, which I appreciated. Still, coordination needs serious improvement.

Es gibt mehr Supermarktrestaurants umgeben. Zusammenfassend ist es sehr gut. Es ist eine vernünftige Wahl, dieses Hotel sechs Nächte zu buchen, und ich habe die Chance, das nächste Mal wieder zu kommen.

Nachteile: - Am Anreisetag hat die Dame an der Rezeption die Kreditkartennummer verwechselt, mit der ich den Aufenthalt komplett im Voraus bezahlt habe. Sie wollte, dass ich noch einmal 4.000 Dollar bezahle. - Außerdem habe ich überhaupt nicht verstanden, warum es bei der Anzahlung am Anreisetag einen so großen Unterschied gibt. Die Unterkunft mit allen Steuern und Gebühren wurde von mir im Voraus bezahlt, am Anreisetag wurden wir jedoch um eine weitere Anzahlung gebeten. Wenn Sie eine Anzahlung per Kreditkarte leisten, beträgt die Anzahlung am Anreisetag 100 $. Wenn Sie jedoch in bar einzahlen, beträgt die Anzahlung 1800 $. Warum so ein großer Unterschied? 18 Mal? - Wir haben am Tag der Ankunft eine Barkaution in Höhe von 100 US-Dollar geleistet, aber dann hat das Hotel meine Karte ohne mein Wissen mit weiteren 100 US-Dollar und dann mit weiteren 175 US-Dollar vorautorisiert. Im Allgemeinen, ohne mich in irgendeiner Weise zu benachrichtigen und ohne mein Einverständnis einzuholen. Ist das überhaupt normal? Wegen ihnen konnte ich nicht mit dem Helikopter fliegen, da diese Firma keine Barzahlungen akzeptierte und das Hotel ungefragt fast 300 Dollar von der Karte abhob. Sie erstatteten dieses Geld erst zwei Tage, nachdem wir das Hotel verlassen hatten. - Das Hotel verfügt über einschichtige Doppelglasfenster und der Riegel an den Fenstern lässt sich nicht vollständig schließen. Das heißt, das Fenster ist nicht blockiert und alle Geräusche der Straße sind im Raum zu hören. Es sieht so aus, als wäre das Fenster überhaupt nicht geschlossen. Der Raum ist sehr laut: das Grollen des Windes, das Geräusch der Sirenen, Bauarbeiten am Morgen, der Lärm am Times Square – man kann alles hören. - Der Raum ist kalt. Ich weiß nicht, ob das Zimmer überhaupt beheizt ist. Die Batterie befand sich nur im Schrank und war nicht immer heiß. - Am 5. Tag meines Aufenthalts nahm das Zimmermädchen den Bademantel aus meinem Zimmer und gab ihn nie zurück. Obwohl wir 9 Tage im Hotel verbracht haben. Was soll ich in meinem Zimmer anziehen? - Trotz der Kälte im Zimmer gab es keine Hausschuhe. Es war sehr kalt, barfuß auf dem kalten Boden zu laufen, daher musste ich den Boden im Badezimmer und im Flur mit Handtüchern auslegen. - Überhaupt nicht verständliches System mit WLAN. Wenn es auch im Zimmer kostenlos ist und nicht nur an öffentlichen Orten, warum muss ich mich dann jeden Tag anmelden, damit WLAN funktioniert? Warum einige Unterteilungen für Clubmitglieder und nicht für Clubmitglieder vornehmen? Woher weiß ich, ob ich Mitglied bin oder nicht? Das mobile Internet im Zimmer funktionierte sehr schlecht, als hätte das Hotel absichtlich das Telefonsignal ausgeschaltet, um WLAN zu kaufen. Im Allgemeinen ist dies das erste Mal, dass ich das sehe, sodass das Hotel Geld von jemand anderem für WLAN nimmt. Ja, am Ende unseres Aufenthaltes erfuhren wir, dass das Internet für uns kostenlos war, aber am Anreisetag hat mich niemand im Voraus darauf hingewiesen und ich musste das WLAN alle 9 Tage lang jeden Tag bestätigen Genehmigung und dachte, dass ich für jeden Tag 15 $ bezahlen müsste. - Unangemessen teurer Preis für die Tage vor Neujahr. Die Unterkunft an Silvester kostet 999 $. Während sie am 2.3. Januar bereits 230 US-Dollar kosteten. Das ist kein so cooles Hotel, wenn man dafür 1000 Dollar pro Nacht zahlt. Der Höchstpreis beträgt 200 US-Dollar für zwei Personen. Es war nicht alles auf höchstem Niveau. Der Ausblick aus dem Fenster war nur ein Viertel gut, der Hauptteil des Ausblicks wurde von der Wand des Nachbargebäudes eingenommen. - Die Rezeption befindet sich nur im 7. Stock. Als wir das Gebäude zum ersten Mal betraten, konnten wir nicht erkennen, ob wir über den richtigen Eingang eintraten oder ob wir um das Gebäude herumgehen mussten. Im Erdgeschoss befanden sich weder Erkennungszeichen noch Personen. Vorteile: Es gab ein Bügeleisen, ein Bügelbrett und einen Haartrockner im Zimmer. Ich musste nichts extra verlangen. - Ganz in der Nähe des Times Square, direkt neben dem Duffy Square. Dies gab uns jedoch keine Garantie, an Silvester ungehindert zum Times Square zu gelangen! Wie durch ein Wunder gelang es uns, mit den Arbeitern und der Polizei zu vereinbaren, uns auf den Platz zu lassen. Zwei Schritte vom Times Square entfernt zu sein und ihn nicht zu betreten – das wäre reine Blasphemie! - angenehm anzufassende Bettwäsche und ein hoher Boden. Wir bekamen ein Zimmer im 57. Stock. - gute Füllung der Minibar. Auf Getränke haben wir jedoch verzichtet. Aber die Wahl war gut. - Mir gefiel die Batterie im Schrank. Sie können Ihre Kleidung darauf trocknen.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Der Service war sehr professionell. Die Rezeption ging sehr aufmerksam auf alle meine Wünsche ein. Sie war so professionell, dass meine erste Reise nach New York dadurch wirklich fantastisch wurde. Wenn Sie ein Problem mit kleinen Zimmern haben, sollten Sie überlegen, wieder hier zu übernachten. Sie sind unglaublich klein, so klein, dass nicht einmal aufgegebenes Gepäck hineinpasst. 😅

Waren für drei Nächte hier, das allgemeine Gefühl ist durchschnittlich. Lage: Die Lage ist sehr gut und sehr praktisch. Es liegt gegenüber der Central Station, von der aus Sie mit der U-Bahn zu fast jedem Ort in New York fahren können. Es scheint auch Busse zu und von den Flughäfen LaGuardia und JFK zu geben, aber ich habe sie nicht ausprobiert. Es gibt viele Restaurants, und es ist kein Problem, den Magen zu füllen, aber ein besonders gutes Restaurant scheint es nicht zu geben. Ausstattung: Das Hotel selbst ist sehr alt, daher sind die Zimmer schon älter. Obwohl es ein Zimmer zur Straße ist, sind die Fenster zu klein und das Licht ist immer schwach. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer war zu laut und musste beim Schlafen ausgeschaltet werden. Zum Glück brauche ich keine Klimaanlage, wenn ich gehe. Wenn es Sommer ist, ist es wahrscheinlich ein großes Problem. Vielleicht ist es eine alte Beziehung, der Geruch des Zimmers ist nicht sehr gut, aber zum Glück können die Fenster zum Lüften ein wenig geöffnet werden. Service: Ich habe mich nur mit der Rezeption beschäftigt und war beim Einchecken sehr freundlich. Insgesamt finde ich es recht zufriedenstellend, es gibt nichts, worüber man wählerisch sein muss, und es gibt nichts Herausragendes. Das Frühstück ist durchschnittlich, nicht im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen, braucht à la carte, nicht viel Auswahl, durchschnittlicher Geschmack. Verglichen mit dem Preis bin ich ziemlich enttäuscht. Es war ein Nachtaufenthalt vor meinem Flug und die Vordertafel Leute sagen ziemlich schön!  Mein Zimmer scheint größere, aber durch eine weiße Tür geteilt zu werden, um mehr Raum zu machen, kann ich die Menschen neben der Tür sehr klar hören und die Trenntür kann tatsächlich geöffnet werden.....  Das Duschewasser war fertig und ich konnte nicht herausfinden, wie es zu verwenden, aber das Front Desk sagte, Sie müssen sowohl das Dusche- als auch das Dusche-Fall öffnen, um warmes Wasser zu bekommen!  Es war ein schönes Zimmer im Allgemeinen, mit Blick auf den Flughafen!

Das Zimmer ist recht sauber und ordentlich und das Servicepersonal ist freundlich. Beim Einchecken wurde mir versehentlich ein nicht gereinigtes Zimmer zugewiesen, nach der Kommunikation habe ich es aber sofort angepasst und mich entschuldigt. Das Essen ist nicht sehr praktisch, bis auf das Frühstück muss alles andere mitgenommen werden.

Nachdem ich drei Jahre im Ausland war und einen langen Flug genommen hatte, blieb ich hier zwei Nächte, um meine Beiträge zu bekommen. Die Lage, der Flughafenshuttleservice und der Raum waren großartig. Die einzige Sorge, die ich hatte, war ein Abend um 11 Uhr, ich saß im Lounge, als ein Kunde kam, aber fand keinen Service-Agenten auf dem Desk. Er sah überall an und rief mehrere Male, aber keine Antwort. Schließlich kam der Manager nach etwa 20 Minuten. Das ist wichtig, weil was, wenn ein Raubtier anstelle des Kunden eingegangen wäre?

Das Zimmer ist etwas klein und der Straßenrundschall ist etwas schwach. Das Frühstück ist nicht schlecht, es gibt Eier, Körner, Kuchen, Bacon, Joghurt, Milch, Obst usw. in den Vereinigten Staaten ist reichhaltig. Die Servicepersonal ist enthusiastisch und es gibt die natürliche Enthüllung der Amerikaner!

Glücklich überall mit dem Aufenthalt, aber ich empfehle, eine Karte für die Einzahlung zu verwenden, die Sie schließen können. Um 1:00 Uhr, DREI WEITEN nach meinem Aufenthalt, versuchte das Hotel, auf meiner Kreditkarte, die ich für die Zimmersicherheit verwendet habe, $50 zu zahlen. Es gab nichts, was belastet hätte sein sollen, und das Hotel hat empfohlen, dass ”es nur unser System” war - keine Erklärung dafür, warum das ”System” versuchte, meine Karte zu belasten, und es gab keine Zwischengebühren in den Zimmern. Ich bin froh, dass der Betrugsbeauftragte auf meiner Kreditkarte die Transaktion abgelehnt hat, da ich die Gebühr vielleicht verpasst habe, wenn ich nicht auf mögliche Betrug warnt.
