The hotel is nicely decorated. Checking in and out was a swift. There is a terrace to chill out on the 6th floor. A doable fitness gym and spa is available on the 7th floor. Lift is accessible from 1st to 6th floor. Room is nice with fridge. Iron and ironing board can be requested. Simple breakfast. It could be better tasting with different variety everyday. Extra water is chargeable at 50 rupees per bottle. We stayed on the 2nd floor and cockroach was found on the 2nd day the the toilet. Thankfully we managed to catch it.

The staff allowed us to check in early after a long overnight train.  Thank you. The hotel is comfortable and perfectly located.  We could walk to the Potala and Jokhang Temple. Dozens of restaurants and cafes were also within walking distance. There was oxygen in the rooms and breakfast staff were very welcoming.  Would stay there again.

Ein schönes Hotel in einer tollen Lage, einen kurzen Spaziergang nach Thamel ohne Verkehrslärm. Das Zimmer war geräumig und ruhig, und jeden Tag gereinigt. Das Restaurant war mit leckeren Nepalischen, indischen und westlichen Lebensmitteln und Getränken ausgezeichnet. Die Rezeption und das gesamte Personal waren auch sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Wir hatten einen großen Aufenthalt im Hotel Thrive.

After several trips to Nepal, I finally decided to treat myself with a stay at the famous Kathmandu Guest House. So glad I did. So much peace, grace, charm and beauty .. and of course, the history!

Das ist das letzte Hotel, das ich während meiner ersten Geschäftsreise in Nepal geblieben habe. Es ist sauber und Service sehr schön, das Zimmer ist gut gereinigt und Handtücher und Badezimmer vs Bettwäsche sind alle hochstandardmäßig sauber. Ich fühle mich hier komfortabel und glücklich. 13. Stock hat einen schönen Ort zum Abendessen. Freut sich, Lebensmittel von chinesischer Art zu essen. Obst sind gut und frisch. Top 15th Stock hat auch schöne Landschaft. Sehr verdient zu kommen und sehr empfohlen. Ich bewundere die Manager Shristi Manandhar, sie ist wirklich ein erstaunliches Essen für das Hotel. Wir mögen sie. Location is amazing in Thamel, super easy to walk around for food and many things Staff at front desk was very friendly and helpful And there is a cocktail coupon every day Only breakfast was too late because my schedule to leave at 9 am but it was ready at 8.30 am and two days in a row. Overall it is very nice hotel to stay when you go to Kathmandu

The hotel is very nice , location quite difficult but it’s ok . Food very good and the buffet also. The staff at the restaurants , lobby are very attentive and helpful However I think could be good to train also the FM , cleaning staff to smile to the guest are around , they don’t even look at you to the face or answer back after good morning greetings from me to them, it’s small detail but make big difference with the guest.

We had one of the best experienced stay in a hotel here in Mystic mountain. They have really good amenities and all the staff were very accommodating and helpful. They have tried to help us all the time. The food was astonishing including the breakfast to dinner. Thanks a lot for giving us a great stay!!
