Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, willkommen und sehr effizient. Sie nahmen die Zeit, um aus ihrem Weg zu gehen, um uns komfortable zu machen. Der Aufzug & Zimmer war nur etwas älter um die Ecken, aber immer noch sehr gut! Das Bett war himmlisch weich & wunderschön, wir wünschten nur, wir hätten Zeit zu ruhen & entspannen mehr als eine Nacht in Wellington!

Stayed one night at James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor for a conference held onsite. Check-in staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel has three separate lift banks servicing different areas — if you’re unfamiliar with Wellington, definitely ask staff to explain the easiest exit route to the city. It makes a big difference. Breakfast was a very large buffet with plenty of options, though I’ve experienced better quality elsewhere. The hotel itself is older but has solid bones. Perfectly adequate for a work overnight stay. For personal travel I’d probably choose somewhere with more atmosphere, however it felt safe and comfortable. One odd feature: some rooms face an internal terrace/window area — remember to close your curtains as people can see straight in. Bed was clean and well made, the room was tidy, though the carpet is showing its age. The shower had excellent pressure and plenty of hot water — a highlight. Overall: reliable, practical conference accommodation rather than a destination stay.

Die geografische Lage ist relativ bequem, viele Hotels umgeben von unten, insbesondere viele chinesische Restaurants. Der Verkehr ist auch bequem, im Allgemeinen relativ sauber und die Einrichtungen sind relativ perfekt.

Das Zimmer ist komfortabel und der Pool ist schön. Hauspflege braucht Verbesserung in der Aufmerksamkeit auf die Details. Wenn ich sie frage, ob Hauspflege meinen Toilettenbeutel ausgegossen hatte, sagten sie, sie würden es suchen. Ich habe keine anderen Besucher und ich bemerkte, dass mein Tasche fehlte, nachdem sie das Zimmer gereinigt hatten. Das ist mir nie in meinem Leben geschehen, in Hotels zu bleiben. Sie sagten, ihr Protokoll sei nicht, Dinge auf dem Toilettenzähler zu berühren, aber was, wenn der Betreuer nicht folgte oder in der Eile war? Meine Artikel waren neu und sie sollten zumindest in den Tasche überprüfen, bevor sie etwas auswerfen. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass jemand Make-up, Thermometer, Duschetaschen usw. stehlen würde. Sie haben nicht einmal einen Ersatz angeboten, wenn sie über meine Unannehmlichkeiten hören. Ja, die Dinge waren nicht teuer, aber es war immer noch Verlust im Hotel und Unannehmlichkeiten. Bedeutet das, dass ich alles ”nicht berühren” markieren muss, wenn ich dieses Hotel wieder wähle?

We needed a place to stay in Wellington for a couple of nights and selected Trinity in a random selection online. Criteria were, reasonably easy to get to by car, reasonable proximity to Te Papa and reasonable price. Trinity covered those bases. Online booking was simple as was check-in. Car parking was in a Wilsons building just across the street, arranged by the hotel. The facilities were up to our expectations. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom amenities were all you could wish for. We were away from the hotel all day, so didn't need anything else. We had one evening meal in the restaurant and that was quite adequate in terms of preparation, flavors and portion size. Check-out was straightforward and we were offered storage for our luggage for the day although we didn't need that service. We are well into our 70's but walking to attractions was not an issue. We were more than happy with our stay and in similar circumstances would stay there again.

Ich habe eine Suite gebucht und eine Flasche Rotwein bekommen, was eine sehr romantische Atmosphäre war. Durch die hohe Bodenhöhe ist es in der Cuba Street weniger bedrückend. In der Nähe gibt es auch einen der wenigen 24-Stunden-Läden.

Dont expect a view, l asked for one and was told that we hadnt been given one. We were on level 3. The facilities are limited- pool is on the smaller side and needs tile repair. Room is dated no smart TV's you have to ask for a chrome cast unit and they dont have many to give out. Parking is 50.00 a night off site and it takes a while for the car to be brought back so ask ahead of time. They charge you any extras automatically without waiting for you to check out ie- l was charged 200.00 for a roll away bed but it wasn't attached to my room. It was my card that was on the bond, so l was automatically charged. They should have charged it on departure then it could have been charged to the right card. Location is great and the main bonus of being her and the buffet breakfast is well worth it is they are also serving a hot buffet.

Can't imagine there is a better place to stay in or around the cities in this area. It has it all for most types of travelers. It is clean, modern but with” warmth”,spacious, TV with build in streaming, and you can order breakfast easy the day before on a paper with tick-off boxes. This is luxury in a small town, and the only downside is leaving.

Der Empfang ist unangenehm, und wenn man Fragen stellt, wird man vom Personal nicht unterstützt, sondern lediglich auf die Online-Recherche verwiesen. Der Umgangston gegenüber den Gästen ist unprofessionell. Manche junge Leute ohne formale Ausbildung sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, doch das trifft auf dieses Hotel nicht zu: Die Angestellten sind schlecht ausgewählt, unfreundlich und inkompetent. Zudem bräuchten sie dringend die Aufsicht eines Managers. Es ist schade, denn die Einrichtung des Hotels ist sehr ansprechend, die Zimmer sind geräumig und modern, und die Lage an einer Einkaufsstraße ist ideal. Über das Restaurant kann ich leider nichts sagen, da es nach 22 Uhr nicht mehr geöffnet hat und seit Januar geschlossen ist.

Wonderful friendly staff. Great location to shopping mall and places to eat. Wonderful to see that The Angus hotel is being updated. Our room was very nice. Would definitely stay here again. Was an easy drive to Lower Hutt Hospital but also there was nearby busses which took you right outside the hospital. Loved the parrot - Pickles!!
