In den Bergen Selber fahren ist bequemer! Niemand, sehr ruhig. Es liegt etwa eine halbe Autostunde vom Santa Elderly Village entfernt. Fahrt in den Wald beim Hotel. In der Einsamkeit liegt eine gewisse Schönheit! ! Es ist auch mysteriös … Auch Rehe gibt es im Hotel! Schade, dass ich dieses Mal kein Polarlicht gesehen habe.

We stayed at Pyhalinna and overall found the apartment itself to be decent. The facilities inside the unit were quite complete and convenient. However, the cleanliness was disappointing — the bed sheets were not clean when we arrived. The funny (and slightly frustrating) part was that after we reported it, someone came to do a light cleaning of the room (even though we were previously told mid-stay cleaning required an extra fee), but the sheets still weren’t changed. The property is ski-in/ski-out and located next to the “family slope,” but there are many areas that really need improvement. First of all, for beginners without a car, it takes around 30 minutes to walk down to the base area to rent equipment(experienced can use the shop on the mountain), and the path is quite unsafe. Honestly, this alone almost made me give a one-star review. Secondly, the so-called family slope wasn’t fully open, and the upper section was surprisingly steep — definitely not what we expected for a family-friendly run. Returning the rental equipment was also inconvenient; you must ski all the way to the bottom because the shop on the mountain doesn’t accept returns. After returning our equipment, we were very lucky that the ski patrol officer Markus kindly offered to take us back up the hotel. We really appreciated his help — without him, it would have been another long and difficult walk. There are simply many practical issues that should be improved. I truly hope the resort can learn from more established ski destinations to create a safer and more beginner-friendly experience. The positive interactions with the staff were the main reason we didn’t give this place a one-star rating — they truly made a difference despite the other issues. Le logement est très mal situé, en bord de route, ce qui empêche de bien dormir. Le lieu a des lumières qui clignotent jusqu’à 3 heures du matin, ce qui empêche d’observer les étoiles ou de regarder les aurores boréales. Si vous souhaitez rattraper votre sommeil le matin, oubliez cette idée ! Les Husky aboient des 8 heures du matin. La salle d’eau est toute petite, l’accès à l’eau chaude est de 15 minutes (puis eau froide pendant 30 minutes) et pour bénéficier d’un sauna (dans un autre endroit) il faut payer environ 100 euros. J’ai payé 10 euros de plus pour avoir un lit bébé alors que le prix du lieu est déjà clairement très surcôté ! Le restaurant n’est pas très bon et les gens qui se sont enregistrés à la réception ou sont sur le départ traversent en plein milieu créant un courant d’air horrible. J’ai du quémander du lait chaud lors du petit déjeuner (qui n’est pas proposé). Par ailleurs, les boissons sont en plus et ce même en demi-pension. La chambre est clairement trop petite pour deux adultes et un enfant (+ un bébé). Les activités sont hors de prix. Nous avions séjourné à plusieurs endroits et pris une nuit seulement dans ce logement et heureusement !! Un rapport qualité prix qui n’est pas du tout à la hauteur.

Die Lage ist sehr praktisch, direkt im Weihnachtsmanndorf und die Atmosphäre ist voll. Ich habe eine Suite gebucht und es war sehr gut. Von außen sieht das Zimmer ein wenig wie ein internationales Studentenwohnheim aus, innen ist es recht geräumig und sehr, sehr sauber. Das Badezimmer ist groß und verfügt über einen Saunaraum. Sie können die Sauna in Ihrem eigenen Zimmer nutzen. Es gibt auch eine Küche, in der bis auf ein Gemüsemesser praktisch alles vorhanden ist, aber es gibt keine Gewürze, Sie müssen also Ihre eigenen mitbringen. Ich habe hier zwei Nächte verbracht und zwei Abendessen zubereitet. Draußen war es eiskalt und schneite, aber das Essen drinnen war warm und gemütlich und der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Das Frühstück ist weit weg und nicht sehr lecker. Ein weiterer Nachteil ist, dass es im Resort viele Häuser gibt, die Beschilderung nicht klar ist und die Straßen nicht gut sind. Die Suche nach einem Abschleppwagen hat mehr als 1.000 gekostet, aber das war dem Hotel egal . Für diesen Service gibt es viele Punkteabzüge!

Wilderness Hotel Juutua is a charming and peaceful hotel located just outside the town center of Inari, right next to Lake Inari. The lakeside location is truly beautiful, offering stunning natural views and a calm atmosphere that feels very special, especially in winter. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, with warm smiles that make guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. The room is warm and comfortable, which is important in the cold Lapland climate. However, the room feels quite small for two people, especially when traveling with luggage. Moving around and storing suitcases can be a bit inconvenient. Bathroom amenities are mostly sufficient, but toothbrushes and razors are not provided, which would be expected at this level of hotel. Other amenities are well prepared. Breakfast quality is good, but unfortunately we could not fully enjoy it because it closes too early at 10:00 AM, which may not be ideal for guests who prefer a relaxed morning or late start. Overall, Wilderness Hotel Juutua offers a beautiful lakeside setting, warm hospitality, and a cozy atmosphere. Despite some minor drawbacks such as room size and limited bathroom amenities, it is still a very pleasant stay and a great choice for travelers looking to experience the natural beauty of Inari.

Bad management during check in. I book an Apartment for 2 nights for this stay but I got the room for 1 night each. Staff told me I have to change room tomorrow and check out at 12PM. So that mean first night I stay and tomorrow check out 12PM and wait for a new room. Also, the apartment is very far from reception. Luckily, I have a car. Imagine if I don't have a car, I have to carry big luggage from the apartment to reception to check out and wait for new room later and move my luggage to new room again, how was it? Moreover, when I check out at 12PM staff told me the room will ready for check in around 2 hours. Then came back to check in again for second at 3PM another staff told me the room is not ready yet and policy for the Apartment check in time is 6PM. ***!!! I said I need the room now because this is unacceptable. Then staff told me the room is ready and give me the key card. So, for this situation I waste the time for half day to pack my luggage, move a lot of luggage to my car with a lot of snow, check out, go to reception for check out, wait the new room, wait, wait, wait, and come back to check in and got very bad answer that she told the room is not ready, and go to check in again, move my luggage to new apartment with a lot of snow, and take a rest. VERY BAD!!!!!

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, zum Weihnachtsmanndorf sind es nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß! Das Hotelpersonal war sehr höflich und freundlich. Wir sollten um 16 Uhr einchecken, aber das Zimmer war um 14 Uhr fertig. Um den Geburtstag eines Freundes zu feiern, hat das Hotel dieses Mal auch Champagner und handgeschriebene Karten arrangiert, was eine tolle Überraschung war. Wir haben auch für das Massage-Außenbecken reserviert und ein Bad im Schnee genommen. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis! Das Wasser ist sehr warm.

Das Zimmer war sauber und die Lage gut; große Einkaufszentren, Supermärkte und Restaurants befanden sich in der Nähe. Allerdings muss ich mich über den Service beschweren. Nach dem Auschecken erhielt ich spät abends eine E-Mail, in der stand, dass mir die Minibar berechnet worden sei und ich dies umgehend bestätigen müsse, da sonst meine Kreditkarte automatisch belastet würde. Als ich am nächsten Morgen aufwachte, war die Abbuchung bereits erfolgt. Der Kundenservice von Ctrip war sehr hilfsbereit und kontaktierte das Hotel sofort, aber aufgrund der Zeitverschiebung war das Hotel geschlossen (niemand ging ans Telefon). Also schrieb ich eine E-Mail zurück und machte meinem Ärger Luft. Einige Tage später erstatteten sie mir mein Geld zurück. Wenn man seine E-Mails nicht regelmäßig liest, kann es passieren, dass einem Kosten berechnet werden, ohne dass man es überhaupt merkt… Das Bild zeigt den Bereich unterhalb des Hotels; dort herrscht reges Treiben, eine Kundgebung findet gerade statt.

Gute Sauna, sehr beachtet Veg-Diät am Frühstück. Gemüsekörner besonders gut, ebenso wie Gemüse-Frucht

The hotel is very convenient on traffic, with bus stop just opposite to the hotel. You can jump on the bus to Santa Claus Village and Airport at the bus stop. The room is very clean and the buffet breakfast is pretty good.
