Hotels mit Pool in Greater Manchester, Vereinigtes Königreich

Die Zimmer sind soweit sauber, aber das Bad lässt zu wünschen übrig: das Gummi von der Duschtrennwand ist schimmelig und undicht, deshalb läuft das Wasser ins Bad- Rutschgefahr- und die Tür ist dadurch auch schon aufgequollen. Das Frühstück lässt fast keine Wünsche offen, ich habe vergeblich nach Käse gesucht, aber ich bin auch nicht in Deutschland ;). Die Lage ist perfekt für die Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich und der Front Desk war freundlich und reaktiv. Wir buchten hauptsächlich um den Pool, Spa und Fitness zu überprüfen, wie vom Hotel angekündigt. Es war also wirklich enttäuschend, wenn wir herausgefunden haben, dass diese Einrichtungen am Xmas-Tag geschlossen wurden und an anderen Tagen in begrenzten Stunden betrieben wurden, als wir dort waren. Der Pool, Sauna, Dampfraum und Fitness werden von einem separaten Unternehmen vom Hotel betrieben. Das bedeutete, dass die Betriebsstunden dieser Einrichtungen nicht für Hotelgäste gepflegt sind. Und es bedeutete auch, die Einrichtungen mit Mitgliedern des Fitnessraums zu teilen. Also wenn Sie über den Aufenthalt hier und die Nutzung des Fitnessraums oder Pools denken, beachten Sie einfach diese Dinge. Die Auswahl des Frühstücks war ziemlich begrenzt. Sehr einfache Auswahl von Salat oder Grün. Sehr beschämend auch zu sehen, dass saubere Platten nicht mehrmals verfügbar waren, wenn es weniger als 20 Decken am Frühstück gab. Ich verstehe, es war die Urlaubszeit und das Hotel ist unterbesetzt. Aber ich bin sicher, das ist nicht das erste Weihnachten oder NYE das Hotel hat getroffen.

Im Zentrum von Manchester gelegen, gibt es eine Straßenbahn nicht weit von der Tür entfernt. Nach Selfridges sind es zu Fuß nur 15 Minuten Das Spa im Erdgeschoss des Hotels ist sehr gut, es gibt dort tolle Gesichtsbehandlungen. Obwohl das Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen ist, wurde die Toilette renoviert Der Check-in an der Rezeption verlief relativ schnell, aber niemand bot Hilfe beim Gepäck an, was etwas enttäuschend war. Alles in allem ist das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut und ich werde weiterhin bleiben!

Good thing is the car parking at weekend is free. The breakfast very usual level. Dont have expectation on it. There is on site starbuck. If u want to have better breakfast you may consider having at starbuck (but it open at 8am ) rather than at hotel. There are only 1 big bar + restaurant nearby. The food is usual bar level quality but the price is lower than average. Around 13 to 15 for a main course.

I stayed at the Village Hotel Manchester Cheadle from the 20th to the 21st and accidentally left my Oral-B electric toothbrush and La Mer face wash on the bed. These are high-value items, and I immediately called the hotel on Sunday morning, fully expecting them to be professional and help me retrieve my belongings. Instead, I was met with complete indifference and disregard. Despite their company policy stating that lost items should be returned if found, I was simply told that nothing had been discovered in the room. I am 100% certain I left them on the bed, but instead of investigating further, the staff dismissed my concerns and didn’t even bother to follow up. As a paying customer, I expected a level of care and responsibility, but I received none. The worst part is that when I asked for an update, they merely shrugged it off, stating that “if they could find it, they would have by now,” despite less than 24 hours having passed since my stay. This lack of effort, urgency, and empathy from the hotel is shocking and unacceptable. It feels as though they couldn’t be bothered to take my situation seriously or value me as a guest. I will not be returning, and I urge others to avoid this hotel if you expect any kind of respect or attention to detail regarding your belongings.

It’s not 5 star… Probably a hard review to write, if it had a title it would be “imbalanced” Food and drink were excellent and service staff in both areas were on point  Front of desk were a mixed bag but again majority were on point, had 2 rooms(1 an upgrade) both had tired woodwork and fittings that fell apart and a mini bar (empty) with the fascia falling off You pay 5 star prices and don’t get 5 star package, arrived early so was ok not getting my room but to sit and watch in excess of 50 people get checked in after me and still not get my assigned room after 3pm is poor at best  Upgraded to a suite when we complained about the overall room and experience after being told our original room is an held as an upgrade for others but I had already paid for this level of room may months ago… Breakfast, food and in restaurant was superb but was challenged at the front as they had no record of my having already prepaid for breakfast which I then had to show them proof from my booking details  We felt judge on arrival which made us feel uncomfortable and felt like as we hadn’t booked direct then we were held back in room allocation  We won’t be back as stayed in much better hotels in the area at a much cheaper price, as said “imbalanced”

Die Rezeptionistin des Hotels war äußerst hilfsbereit, der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Eingang, das Zimmer komfortabel, entspannend und schön präsentiert. Wir wählten eine einfache Mahlzeit aus frisch gekochtem Kabeljau und Pommes, die köstlich war. Die Freizeiteinrichtungen waren gut, Handtücher und Bademäntel wurden bereitgestellt. Eine öffentliche/für Anwohner zugängliche Bar war lebhaft und für Nicht-Anwohner zugänglich, die zwischen den Terminals unterwegs waren. Die Aussicht auf die Flüge, die abends vom Flughafen abflogen, war unterhaltsam. Ein ruhiges Zimmer mit Zimmerservice. Empfehlenswert.

Beautiful hotel set in a picturesque countryside, the pool an spa is lovely clean an we really enjoyed it , only wish that they had some halal options at the restaurant as I don’t think it’s worth over £10 for a cheese toastie

room was clean beds and ere comfy, the staff weren’t that cheery. The gym and pool facilities which are included and really good. Would stay again.

Second time staying but this time at Citysuites 2. Absolutely in love with the heated pool and steam room. Also tried out the fully-equipped and well-spaced gym. Reception always friendly and helpful. Room fresh and clean. Lovely selection at brekkie. Highly recommend the Eggs Royale. Will defo stay there again next time we’re back.
