Clean rooms decent price. Room has a dyson air fan was a bit warm even with the window open.. other than that stay was fine only paid £67 as it was a sunday night

Schöne saubere Zimmer. Mein kleiner Junge liebte das Fenster mit Blick und verbringen Zeit im Schwimmbad. Es war großartig, dass der Schwimmbad Kindersitzungen hatte, so dass wir als Familie genießen konnten. Die Lage war auch großartig mit nur einen kurzen Spaziergang in das Stadtzentrum. Wird sicherlich hier wieder bleiben 😀

After an exceptional stay at the Wigan Holiday Inn Express on September 20th, 2024, I didn’t expect such a stark contrast in service at another location within the same hotel group the very next day (September 21st, 2024). This time, we experienced a completely different attitude at the front desk—rudeness and dismissiveness. Despite multiple requests for assistance, such as having my room closer to my friend’s, an hour late check-out (which my friend was granted), and fixing the issue with my room’s air conditioning (my friend’s room was fine), we were met with vague, unhelpful explanations that treating a fool. It felt like dealing with political officials dodging direct answers. For the first time ever, I left a hotel feeling genuinely angry. They might be better suited for a career in politics.

Ein sehr langer historischer Hotel, Dekoration und Wartung sind sehr gut. Die Service-Einstellung ist sehr gut 👍 Das Gefühl der Erfahrung ist sehr gut. Das nächste Mal wird es auch wieder auswählen. Der einzige Mangel ist, dass es keinen Parkplatz gibt, wir haben lange gefragt, um einen Außenparkplatz zu finden. Aber der Parkplatz ist wirklich unsicher. Unser Auto wurde drei Tage lang gepflastert. Ich bin wirklich gepflastert.

Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber, die Mitarbeiter sind lächelnd. Es gibt einen leckeren Kaffeegeschäft. In der Unterkunft gibt es eine Bar zu sitzen und wieder zu trinken.

Excellent stay and much improved with the refurb. Staff were excellent too, definitely up to the standard we've come.to expect from Marriot Hotels. Room was nice and comfortable, great pool , sauna, gym and the location is quiet. Great coffee too, worth a mention. Will definitely stay again

Hotel is exactly what it says on the tin. Small room but cozy enough. Bathroom quite comfortable. Though it’s more of a wet room. So bring shower slippers. Bar downstairs decent. Close to a fun retail park. Staff were friendly. I was able to access check in early. That was a relief!

All the hardwares are brilliant. Nice room , great location and good facilities but horrible customer service . Have a nice check-in on the first day , sorry for forgot the name, beautiful smile with a warm welcome and remember me when I come back in the next week. However not on the other days, the other receptionist always look grumpy. The thing is I’ve paid the parking every day when I come back from work but for some reason it didn’t show I paid on one of the day and charged it on my card which I paid the deposit. Email the customer service to claim it back , sent all the transactions from my bank to prove but cannot notice the mistake in the first two emails and just say that is what it is. After a few days gat back to me with a few words the money will go back to my account in a few days. No apologies or explanation for the incident, make me feel that I’m the wrong side and just want to cheating. Horrible customer service.

Schöne Lage, aber Personal muss man oft daran erinnern, eine einfache Sache zu tun.

Location might be handy if you are physically able to walk about in the city centre, I have MS and walking can be difficult at the best of times, not the fault of the hotel but my booking was made during a period of severe weather conditions and the hotel staff checked me in immediately, four hours before their usual time and were very helpful, polite and friendly.
