Der Service war großartig und die Umgebung erstklassig. Direkt nebenan befindet sich der Panmen-Park mit Bergen und Wasser – wirklich schön. Die Sauberkeit war auch hervorragend. Die Ausstattung war gut, die Lage top, alles leicht erreichbar. Wenn ich das nächste Mal nach Suzhou komme, werde ich wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten. Wir bekamen sogar zwei kostenlose Tickets für die Panmen-Aussichtsplattform der Kategorie 4A sowie eine einstündige Cheongsam-Anprobe für Damen (nicht an gesetzlichen Feiertagen).

Ich könnte Ihnen jetzt erzählen, dass wir in einem umweltfreundlichen Hotel wohnen, das trotz seiner hohen Glasfenster ein Gefühl von Naturverbundenheit vermittelt. Ich könnte Ihnen auch vom Salzwasserpool, dem hochmodernen Fitnessstudio und allen anderen Annehmlichkeiten vorschwärmen; und sogar von der Anzahl der Zimmer und der Tatsache, dass hier gerade ein internationaler Gipfel stattfindet. All das würde aber nicht meine Erfahrung in diesem Hotel beschreiben. Das Elements (by Westin) Suzhou Science & Technology Town bietet all das, aber was ich an diesem Hotel besonders schätze, ist das Personal. Ich liebe es, dass sie scheinbar immer da sind. Ich habe fast den Eindruck, sie würden hier wohnen, weil sie ständig präsent sind. Morgens, noch bevor ich den Salon betrete, höre ich vom Frühstücksservice ein „Nǐ hǎo Marsha“ hören, gefolgt von der netten Dame im Salon, die mich anlächelt, mich zur Kaffeemaschine führt und mir meine zwei Päckchen braunen Zucker reicht. Sie kennt meine Morgengewohnheiten so schnell. Nicht nur das, weil sie wussten, dass Peter ein paar Morgen lang nicht bei meinem Frühstückstisch war, geben sie mir jetzt mit Take-away-Behältern ein Zeichen, damit Peter sein Frühstück auf dem Zimmer einnehmen kann. Wenn wir irgendwohin müssen, fragen uns die jungen Damen an der Rezeption (egal welche Schicht) immer, wohin wir wollen, damit sie uns ein Taxi rufen können. Eine von ihnen begleitete mich sogar einmal zum Geldautomaten der Bank of China und wartete im Taxi, während ich meine Angelegenheiten erledigte. Sie begleitete mich auch zum Campus, um Jon-Marc zu besuchen. Gestern nutzte eine von ihnen sogar ihr eigenes Didi-Konto, um uns den Transport zurück zum Hotel zu bezahlen, und wir erstatteten ihr das Geld (und gingen weg, als sie uns das Wechselgeld zurückgeben wollte, weil wir wussten, dass sie das Trinkgeld nicht annehmen würde, wie es dort üblich ist). Wie hätten wir ihr sonst unsere Dankbarkeit für ihre freundliche Geste zeigen können? Und dann ist da noch Simon Jiang, der Hoteldirektor, der perfekt Englisch spricht und immer hilfsbereit ist und Tipps für Unternehmungen und Ausflugsziele gibt. Simon war es, der mir erklärte, dass man nicht einfach in eine Apotheke gehen und ohne Rezept irgendetwas bekommen kann. Ich kann Ihnen versichern, dass er, obwohl er der Hoteldirektor ist, immer zur Stelle ist und die Mitarbeiter bei ihrer Arbeit unterstützt. Obwohl hier eine klare Hierarchie herrscht, zieht er seine Jacke aus und hilft in der Küche. Manchmal sieht man ihn auch älteren Damen helfen, schwere Geräte (falls nötig) zum Putzen, Abräumen usw. herauszutragen. Oder Alex Ju, der stellvertretende Hoteldirektor, der Peter und mich ins Krankenhaus begleitete und dort in unserem Namen (auf Mandarin) mit dem Arzt und der internationalen Versicherungsabteilung sprach, um uns alles etwas zu erleichtern. Diese Menschen haben meinen Aufenthalt hier unvergesslich gemacht, und ich kann ehrlich sagen, dass ich ihnen die Elements by Westin in Suzhou jedem wärmstens empfehlen würde, der eine unkomplizierte Unterkunft mit hilfsbereitem, zuvorkommendem und freundlichem Personal sucht. Es war mir eine Freude, so herzliche, freundliche und liebenswerte Menschen kennenzulernen.

Die Zimmerserviceeinrichtungen sind über die Erwartungen hinaus, es gibt Kinder Zahn- und Trailer, die Qualität ist nicht schlecht, die Tiere sind freundlich, das Frühstück erfüllt die Bedürfnisse, am Nachmittag auf dem Gras zu kochen, am Abend in der Wohnwagen zu leben, nachts kann man auch schweigen hören, und das Baby hat die Eier geholt, einen Spurzug gemacht, wird wieder reserviert.

I am absolutely in love with this hotel! First of all, the hotel is located inside the scenic spot. One of the staff called me in advance to arrange a time to pick me up at the entrance of the scenic spot. My Chinese is not good so normally it's very awkward for me to speak over the phone in Chinese but she was very patient with me which I appreciate. Not only did she escort me to the hotel but she also carried my luggage for me. The decor inside the hotel has a beautiful, rustic asthetic which matches the feel of the ancient town. I really like table and chairs in my room, overlooking the pond. The pond also has koi fish and turtles! It was a beautiful touch that added to the overrall feel of the hotel. I loved these little details such as theovely traditional Chinese tea set (with a variety of complementary loose tea leaves), and the stylish coffee mugs. Unfortunately I came to Zhouzhuang during a severe typhoon which caused a leak and power cut in my room, so when I alerted the staff, they immediately gave me a new room. They even helped me pack my things so I can change rooms as soon as possible. The new room I went to was equally as beautiful. Not only is the hotel beautiful but it also has great amenities. Both rooms I stayed in had a stone bathtub which were both very deep -you could float it in! If you come here, I would recommend you bring some bubble bath with you like I did for maximum relaxation. I also made good use of the pool. The pool is a little small and a bit too shallow for an adult, but you can still have an enjoyable swim. Lastly, the tea room and cafés are also a nice addition to the hotel. My second room didn't have a table and chairs like the original one I booked, so I went to the tea room to eat my breakfast. It's also a cozy and comfortable room just to relax in if you're feeling lazy. As I have mentioned throughout this review, the service is second to none. Not only did the staff help me get to the hotel, but after I checked out they also carried my luggage and escorted me to the taxi. Throughout my stay I was offered fresh fruit and coffee several times, and as I mentioned earlier, I was immediately helped when I had to change my room. Whenever I struggled to communicate in Mandarin, the staff would try their best to speak English or would be patient with my hesitation or mispronunciation in Mandarin. This is probably the best ever service I have experienced on my travels. In summary, it's a beautiful hotel, in a convenient location with great facilities and helpful and kind staff. Not only will I come back again (and with my family next time) but I will recommend all my friends and colleagues to stay at this hotel if they ever plan to visit Zhouzhuang.

We absolutely love our stay at Club Med Nanjing, and I can’t recommend it enough—especially for families who love the outdoors. The nature aspect of this resort is simply stunning. You can spend days just exploring the grounds, walking through the lush scenery, and discovering little hidden spots around the property. Our kids were constantly engaged, curious, and excited to see what was around the next corner. That said, what really made our stay special was the staff. I was genuinely surprised by how well the team speaks English. As foreign guests, we never once felt lost or unable to communicate. A very special call-out to Zai Zai, Diana, and Frankie—they have been incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. We later learned that they studied at university in Australia, which explains why communication felt so easy and natural. For any international travelers worried about a language barrier – don’t be. This team has you covered.. But more than just language, it’s their attentiveness to our children that blew us away. Diana, in particular, went above and beyond. She noticed how hard it can be to juggle three kids, so she would walk with us to the elevator and even push the button for us. It sounds like a small thing, but when you have your hands full with little ones, those little gestures mean the world. She also constantly checked in on our children, making sure they were happy, comfortable, and never left out. There were a couple of kids' facilities that were closed during our visit—slightly disappointing at first. But honestly, the staff turned that around completely. They were so accommodating, quickly pointing out alternative activities and making sure our children always had something fun to do. Whether it was a quick arts band crafts setup, a guided nature walk, or just extra time at the play areas that remained open, the team made sure no moment felt wasted. The kids didn't even miss the closed facilities in the end. Because of that, this resort is a fantastic holiday option for parents who actually want to relax. You can finally sit back, enjoy a coffee or a quiet moment, knowing your kids are not only having a blast but are also being genuinely looked after. The peace of mind that comes with that is priceless. If you're a family that loves nature, values warm service, and wants a holiday where both parents and children come back happy and rested—book Club Med Nanjing. And say hello to Zai Zai, Diana, and Frankie. They're the best.

Meine Familie und ich lieben es, verschiedene High-End-/Luxushotels im In- und Ausland auszuprobieren. Kimpton war eine neue Erfahrung für uns (es gibt vier in Festlandchina, zwei davon in Shanghai, die wir aber noch nicht besucht haben), und wir haben uns für das Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou entschieden. Die Marke Kimpton zeichnet sich durch ihr Design aus, und die Standardzimmer beginnen bei 48 Quadratmetern (einige Luxushotels haben Standardzimmer von nur etwa 30 Quadratmetern, solche Hotels würden wir bei der Auswahl gar nicht in Betracht ziehen, da der Raum viel zu klein ist und unbequem wäre). Die Ausstattung im Kimpton Suzhou ist ziemlich gut; die Kaffeemaschine und der Wasserkocher sind von De'Longhi, und der Fernseher ist überraschenderweise von Sony (die meisten Hotels verwenden Samsung, was viel billiger ist). Die Toilette und das Waschbecken scheinen von Villeroy & Boch zu sein (ich habe keine Markenetikette an der Badewanne gesehen, aber wenn sie auch von Villeroy & Boch wäre, wäre das kein billiges Produkt). Meine Familie liebte besonders das Bett und die Bettwäsche hier; sie sagten, es sei unglaublich bequem. Sie haben sogar eine KI benutzt, um herauszufinden, welche Marke es ist, und wollen ihr eigenes Bett (Matratze) und die Bettwäsche zu Hause durch die gleichen ersetzen. Das Frühstück war auch ziemlich reichhaltig. Die warmen Speisen waren geschmacklich in Ordnung, und ich fand die Gebäcke und Brote in der Bäckereiecke wirklich gut. Das Fitnessstudio habe ich nicht ausprobiert. Der Pool war etwas enttäuschend, da er durchweg nur 1,2 Meter tief ist. Ich war zweimal dort, und der Pool war voller Kinder (die wenigen Erwachsenen am Rand oder im Pool brachten fast alle ihren Kindern das Schwimmen bei). Ich frage mich, ob das Kinder von Hotelgästen waren oder ob es sich um einen Schwimmkurs handelte, der für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich war?

Wir hatten für diesen Aufenthalt eine Suite gebucht, die wirklich schön war – wie in einem privaten Garten. Obwohl das Hotel in einer geschäftigen Stadt liegt, ist es im Hof sehr ruhig. Und ich muss sagen, der Hotelservice ist sehr gut. Am ersten Abend fragten wir an der Rezeption, ob wir mit dem Boot fahren wollten, um Pingtan zu hören, und sie organisierten direkt einen Fahrer, der uns kostenlos dorthin brachte. Am nächsten Morgen fuhren wir zum Lingering Garden. Der Fahrer war sehr aufmerksam und enthusiastisch und erzählte uns viel über die Geschichte Suzhous. 👍👍 Wir müssen unserem privaten Butler Xiao Xu danken, der sehr aufmerksam war und sehr schnell reagierte. Er verfolgte unsere Reiseroute schon vor dem Check-in und war auch beim Einchecken sehr aufmerksam. Später half er uns aktiv bei der Koordination, als wir den Check-out verschieben wollten, und schenkte uns schließlich Souvenirs, als wir das Hotel verließen. Es war wirklich ein tolles Übernachtungserlebnis 👍👍

Das Hotel befindet sich über dem Suning Plaza im Stadtzentrum und bietet eine großartige Aussicht durch die raumhohen Fenster – wirklich atemberaubend! Von der Sky Lobby aus kann man den Sonnenaufgang und den Sonnenuntergang sehen. Das Frühstück war jedoch ziemlich durchschnittlich, besonders im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels, in denen ich auf dieser Reise war, wie dem Grand Hyatt in Hefei und dem Intercontinental in Nantong. Der Unterschied ist deutlich. Es gibt viele Details, die verbessert werden könnten, zum Beispiel, dass die Waffeln versteckt werden, um sich Mühe zu sparen.

💯The lady who checked us in on Day 1 was very good, but the staff did not wear any name tag so I can’t remember her name. We found that she is the only one who was prompt and alert to guests needs. She helped upgrade us to a room that is more handicap friendly, as my husband was on crutches. She also helped us order takeaway using her private mobile phone when the restaurant on site was closed for lunch as we had no china mobile phone number to order take away. 💯The location is great by the lake and near the Tianmu Lake scenic park. 💯Outdoor hot spring staff on duty are attentive and polite. She even instructed the buggy driver to the nearest point to pick us when she noticed that my husband had difficulty walking. However the buggy driver did not pick us from the recommended point as she gave the excuse that her buggy driving skills are not good enough. Therefore we had to walk a longer way to be picked up, which puzzled everyone as there was more than enough space and a road for buggy entry…. ❌ Not enough staff, especially at dinner and breakfast. Food is slow to come at dinner even though we pre-ordered. Waited 30 mins and more. Staff are loud clearing the crockery, and had no sense of regard for those still dinning. ❌tour groups arrive in the evening by the bus load. The hotel did not feel premium with the crowd who were very loud. ❌the private hot spring in the room only had a fixed temperature of more than 40 degrees which made it very uncomfortable when the external temperature is more than 30 degrees. The solution was to mix it with cold water via tap, which was very slow and impractical. The hot water needs to be filled up by the staff, and you have to call them. ❌not suitable for those with difficulty walking or elderly. ideal to have your own car. 🤔Overall, I did not feel that I made a good choice with this booking. There are others private hot spring room near Yu Shui hot spring / Bamboo sea area for a better value and premium feel. 🫥I would also caution against the 100 yuan fish coupon - it is a discount coupon to offset about a third of the price of the dish, not a complimentary coupon for a fish head casserole. I did not receive the welcome gift so I can’t comment. The public hot springs has 4 pools.

Our trip to Nanjing left us with beautiful memories and a very positive impression. Largely attributable to the very pleasant stay at Swisstouches Hotel. We stayed in the suite from end May to early June. 1. Very clean and comfortable suite - About one of the most comfortable rooms I have had stayed in recent memory. Spacious, clean, well - kept, well - maintained. Reasonably priced. Whole place smelled good, no hint of musky odour, no tobacco smell, children had zero issue with allergy. Sound proofing was great. I do wish the kitchenette is better equipped with microwave oven, utensils and simple crockery. Not that we cook in the room, but I guess it is more convenient to have simple utensils available in the kitchenette. 2. Courteous, attentive and responsive service - Reception was courteous, patient and reliable. Restaurant staff were obliging and prompt (requests were attended to promptly, room cleaning staff were responsible and detailed. (I accidentally left the Do-Not-Disturb sign on, they left a note reminding me about that, and took the initiative to return in the evening to clean up the room - all without any request from me. I thought of just going letting the room cleaning pass for 1 day). Such conscientious work attitude is hard to come by. 3. Food was hygienic and ample - The buffet breakfast was amply stocked and spread was decent. Not an emperor's feast, but way enough to surpass expectations for most people. 4. Location was decent, safe - The hotel is situated in the outskirts of Nanjing city. So you get the tranquil, but you wont have the hustle and bustle. There are convenience stores and eateries well within a stone's throw. Ride hailing taxis are easily available too. But if you are expecting to walk to the tourist spots, you will have to stay in the heart of the city. I personally prefer a location like Swisstouches' . 5. Facilities - I only tried the swimming pool and gym. Very decent. Good enough for exercise and workouts during travel. Gym was well equipped, albeit a little messy. But that's more of gym users rather than the set-up. Swimming pool was well maintained and monitored at all times. Great for lane swimming. All in all, fantastic stay. Go back again? Big Yes.
