AAnonymer BenutzerSie können von der Grenze zwischen Zambia und Simbabwe laufen! Obwohl es ein nahe gelegenes Hotel ist zu günstig, ist es sehr sauber und hat warmes Wasser, es ist toll! Ich habe es nicht verwendet, aber das Hotel hat ein Restaurant und einen Pool und ein Supermarkt in der Nähe!

GGastnutzerWe stayed at Lulu Lodge in order to visit Victoria Falls as part of a longer trip to Africa.
When we arrived at the airport, John was ready and waiting to pick us up and transfer us to the lodge. He was friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had breakfast each day on the shady stoep outside our room, and all the staff were kind and courteous. We particularly enjoyed a dip in the hotel pool, which is clean and pleasantly shaded in the hottest part of the day.
We deliberately chose an independent hotel rather than a large corporate one. We wanted to see more of the real Zimbabwe rather than being shielded behind am expensive facade. Some elements of our stay revealed a tight budget for the owners: the minibus had seen better days, and had no air-conditioning, and the shower was a bit temperamental, but this was easily offset by the willingness of John and his staff to show us the places and share the experiences we had wanted to see. He took us to the Victoria Falls, showed us the beautiful Lookout Cafe, which we probably would not have found by ourselves, ferried us into town for lunch and shops, and arranged an elephant ride which was an absolute joy! The elephants were free to roam over an extensive area as part of a conservation project, and we were delighted to have a 7 month old baby tag along with. her mother as we rode.
John also took us to a local school where we were able to see students who truly valued their opportunity to have a proper education at a manageable price.
We hope to return to Lulu Lodge within the next two years.

GGastnutzerDas Personal dieses Hotels ist das freundlichste und hilfreichste Personal, das ich jemals in allen Reisen überall auf der Welt getroffen habe. Ich kann ihnen nicht genug danken, dass sie meinen Tag jeden Tag erleuchten und den Aufenthalt so perfekt machen. Die Zimmer sind auch schön und sauber und der Pool ist sehr angenehm zu entspannen.

CClement MwembaKein Essen - der einzige Grund, warum ich nicht auf Einrichtungen 5/5 preiswert konnte. Die Arbeiter sind ehrlich. Ich hatte nach dem Abmelden eines meiner Telefone vergessen. Sie haben mich kontaktiert und das Telefon für mich mehrere Stunden gehalten.

GGastnutzerMy wife, , myself and our daughter started our visit to Africa in Zimbabwe, and booked 2 days at Pamusha lodge. It’s set in a secluded setting just outside Victoria falls town… probably 20 mins walk if you wanna attempt it , but there’s no need as Pamusha offer a shuttle service , usually with the wonderful Geoffrey driving , for a small fee. ( also a shuttle from the airport !). We found the staff working there incredibly helpful and friendly, especially in organising tours with / through Pamusha as well as any other questions we asked. Food at the lodge was ok , mostly reasonably priced and the bar was also fine. What was quoted was what we paid for tours .Accomodation is a little dated ( no hair dryer etc), but ok for a base to explore from.
Yes , not 5 star luxury but would definitely recommend to people for a short stay

AAnonymer BenutzerDie Lage ist ausgezeichnet, direkt im Stadtzentrum und nur etwa 10 Gehminuten von der Brücke entfernt.
Das Zimmer war gerade groß genug für ein Paar mit zwei aufzugebenden Koffern.
Frühstück und Kaffee waren gut genug, wenn man in Eile ist.
Es gab jedoch ein paar Probleme während unseres Aufenthalts.
Nach etwa 5 Minuten Duschen gab es täglich kein heißes Wasser mehr.
Wir hatten ein Eckzimmer zur Hauptstraße hin. Von Freitag bis Sonntag, zwischen 19:30 und 23:00 Uhr, spielte das Restaurant auf der anderen Straßenseite laute Musik und es herrschte ununterbrochenes Geplapper. Selbst mit Ohrstöpseln war der Lärm noch deutlich zu hören … ziemlich frustrierend nach einem langen Reisetag.
Wir baten um ein anderes Zimmer, aber die Rezeptionistin sagte, dies sei das beste, das sie frei hätten.

GGastnutzerThe owner and his family were very helpful. Transfer from and to the airport was perfectly organized. The lodge is newly built and everything is very clean. We always felt safe in the lodge. We were brought to restaurants for dinner and picked up after. Finally our host took us to various nice and interesting places in Vic Falls. We learned a lot about life in Simbabwe.

KKobe & KyleDas Hostel liegt selbst und der Zelt war sehr sauber. Wir haben einfach nicht bemerkt, dass durch die Buchung eines “Doppelzimmers” es eigentlich ein Zelt war. Der gelieferte Fan war nett und hält uns am Abend kühl und der Pool hält uns während des Tages sauber.
Die Lage ist jedoch etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums, obwohl Sie entweder ein Auto oder ein Taxi zu rufen, um irgendwo zu kommen.
Das Restaurant auf der Website war ok, aber es wurde uns nicht erklärt, dass manchmal sie eine spezielle BBQ haben und Sie können nichts anderes aus dem Menü bestellen. Wenn wir wussten, dass zu diesem Zeitpunkt, wir würden auf dem Markt stoppen und sich selbst verpflegt.
Aber das Personal war alles wunderschön und hilfreich.
