GGastnutzerHaving read that the Pearl Continental was a 5 Star hotel, made me look forward to staying there.
Upon arrival, the staff at the reception desk were very courteous and professional. Check-in was slow due to some alleged computer issue.
The rooms were nothing special and looked very tired and in need of renovation. Especially the bathroom, which was on par with a 1 Star establishment.
Breakfast was acceptable and service reasonable. Definitely not to 5 Star standards.
Again the reception desk staff professional and courteous upon checking out. The icing on the cake for me was when we checked out, I asked where would be the best place to get a taxi. They said they have a desk near the entrance and the staff there can arrange transport for us.
So we approached the desk and told them where we wished to go. After tapping on a calculator for 5 minutes the chap told us the fare would be 10,000 Rupees. 10,000 I exclaimed! This was more than double for what the journey should be. I was expecting it to be slightly more as it was being arranged by the staff of a so called “5 Star” hotel.
I shared my thoughts on the fare but the chap was not interested. I reluctantly accepted the fare, paid the 10,000 rupees in cash, whilst trying to convince myself that it’ll save me walking a few hundred meters down the road and haggling with the taxi walas in the midday heat.
So we were escorted to the vehicle by the chap from the desk. The vehicle wasn’t anything special, just a standard saloon, which had seen better days.
The chap from the desk, gesture for me to follow him back to the desk, whilst he asked my wife to make herself comfortable in the car, and the driver began putting our cases in the boot.
I followed him back towards the hotel entrance and asked what was going on? He casually replied that he had miscalculated the mileage and would require more money. To which I laughed and replied that the cost was already more than double. How could he be asking for more!
I shouted to the driver to take the cases out of the vehicle and asked my wife to not get too comfortable.
I then told the chap at the desk that I have never been dealt with in such an unprofessional insulting manner. I voiced that these type of extortion tactics are very unbecoming of a so called “5 Star” hotel. I demanded my 10,000 Rupees, which he grudgingly gave to me.
Suffice to stay, I will never be staying at the Pearl Continental in Rawalpindi ever again.
It’s most definitely NOT a 5 Star hotel in any shape, way or form.
With staff like the guy who tried to rip me off, not once but twice, in broad daylight, just highlights the festering desperation, greed and total disregard of any form of respect or decency that exists here. Absolutely no shame.
Anyway we walked 6 feet outside the hotel and got a taxi for 4,000 Rupees for the same journey.
Be careful, everything isn’t what it seems. Watch out for these smiling passions and daylight highwaymen.

Can't praise this hotel highly enough - they are really amazing
The staff at reception in particular have the best customer service skills I have experienced in Pakistan - feels like being in a western hotel. I wished I remembered his name but the man who checked me in and checked me out was extremely professional with fantastic customer service skills.
Reception management should find out who he is and give him a pay rise. God bless you man

BBipul123I had a great stay at Royal Swiss Lahore—its location next to the airport was super convenient. I felt completely secure, and the staff provided excellent service throughout. The food was delicious, and everything was clean and well-managed. Though on the arrival day they provided me room which didn’t match with descriptions.

NNoman AmjedDas Zimmer war sauber, aber es gab einen unbehaglichen Geruch aus dem Teppich. Frühe Eincheckung wurde nicht erleichtert, und mein Zimmer war noch nicht um 1:30 Uhr fertig. Zuerst wurde nur ein Zahnkit bereitgestellt; auf Anfrage wurden zusätzliche Kits gegeben.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut. Insgesamt war es eine überdurchschnittliche Erfahrung und überpreist, obwohl es Raum für Verbesserungen im Professionalität.

BBobbiDer Zimmerservice und die Waschbecken waren wirklich effizient. Obwohl sie einige ältere Zimmer runterlaufen, gibt es auch große schöne Zimmer mit Haartrockner und Schrank. Der Klimaanlage funktionierte gut. Das Frühstück war angemessen. Der Abstand war kein heißes Wasser.

SShehroz1Ich wartete mehr als 30 Minuten auf die Eincheckung, obwohl sie mir gesagt haben, dass es um 3 Uhr bereit wäre. Die Wohnung war noch nicht vorbereitet, und es fühlte sich, als ob wir überhaupt nicht als Gäste behandelt worden waren. Beim Auschecken baten sie uns, wieder aufzuhören und zu warten, weil sie die Wohnung inspizieren mussten, bevor sie uns verlassen. Aufgrund dieser Verzögerung habe ich endlich meinen Flug verpasst. Die ganze Erfahrung war extrem frustrierend und enttäuschend.

GGastnutzerDie Arbeiter gehen raus, das Wichtigste ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, dieses Hotel ist ein Schatz! Der Preis ist persönlich, das Zimmer ist jedoch nicht unbedeutend. Der Raum ist groß, die warme Einrichtung ist warm und alle Einrichtungen sollten vollständig sein. Das Badezimmer ist trocken und sauber und sauber. Und es gibt einen kostenlosen Parkplatz, das ich für eine Autofahrt zu freundlich bin. Nach einigen Tagen habe ich viel Geld gespart als andere Hotels im gleichen Bereich. Hier wählen Sie später die Reise und empfehlen Sie es allen!

這次來巴基斯坦參加展會，選酒店的經歷堪稱“驚心動魄”，直到住進這家店才徹底踏實，真心推薦給所有來巴的華人朋友！
先説説最關鍵的安全感——現在巴基斯坦對華人外出有嚴格安保要求，我之前住的小酒店直接被警察警告，不僅沒有接待華人的安保能力，衞生差、服務更是敷衍，逼得我緊急換酒店。而這家店完全不一樣：硬件上連防彈車都配備，更難得的是老闆從不用“安保”謀利，反而處處替客人着想。我要來回展會時，他不會強制推薦高價服務，而是幫我協調安保、推薦經濟的找車方式；每天安排來回展會的專屬車輛和安保人員，費用衹要1500，性價比超高。平時想外出，他也會主動提供解決方案，幫我避開被警察扣留的麻煩，這種設身處地的貼心，在當下的巴基斯坦太重要了！
再誇誇基礎體驗，舒適度、專業度、衞生和細節都無可挑剔，住起來特別舒心，和之前的小酒店簡直天差地別。尤其要重點推薦酒店5樓的餐廳——這絕對是隱藏驚喜！早餐種類豐富，午晚餐還能單點，提供的巴基斯坦本地美食比附近購物中心的快餐地道太多，想嘗當地特色又不想冒險外出的話，在這裏吃完全能滿足。更貼心的是，餐廳還有啤酒供應，忙碌一天後小酌一杯特別解壓。
