Communication with the hotel before arriving in Japan was nearly impossible. Once you are in Japan, if you use a local phone to call the hotel, they can provide information about where they can pick you up if you are traveling by bus. Apart from that, the service and facilities were excellent. The hotel provided a mobile phone that you could use to call them for pick-up at any time and from any location in the Nijigen no Mori area. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.

It was great location and facilities as well as the staffs are amazing! The hotel location is perfect, I will go back again in future. Except that the room we were staying on a second booking it's 19th floor opposite elevator area and at night had some noises, loud bang, continuously and the staff informed us that it was a sound from heater system on the upper floor. The noise was loud enough to woke us up from a deep sleep. Staff on the night shift solved the issue by giving us new room just to sleep, few doors away. It was quite enough for us to fall asleep and walked back to our original room to shower and check out. and then in the morning we checked out, the staff was just making a straight face saying sorry about that. I do understand that the morning staff can't do anything else excavations saying sorry but that wasn't a Japanese service mind action I used to experience. Thank you to clerk. Watanabe for assisting me through the double booking and giving us a request we asked on the first day. Kobe port view was amazing, we loved it so much.

Mein Nichtraucherzimmer roch nach Rauch. Zum Glück war das Personal außergewöhnlich, und ich bekam bald ein anderes Zimmer. Ein Mitarbeiter erklärte mir, das Zimmer sei im „japanischen Stil“ eingerichtet und ich müsse die Bettwäsche aus dem Schrank nehmen, den niedrigen Tisch verschieben und mein Futon selbst beziehen. Ich lebe in Japan und weiß, was ein Zimmer im „japanischen Stil“ ist. In Ryokans guter Qualität beziehen die Mitarbeiter die Futons. Bei zu großen Hotels wird das Beziehen der Futons für alle Zimmer jedoch mühsam. Man fragt sich jedoch, warum man ein „Fünf-Sterne-Hotel“ buchen sollte, wenn man sein Futon selbst beziehen und gleichzeitig lernen muss, was ein Zimmer im „japanischen Stil“ beinhaltet [ich arbeite in der Hotelbranche]. Die Lobby ist öde und sieht billig aus. Kein Stil, kein Charme. Die Sitzgelegenheiten sind hässlich und billig. Es gibt hier und da echte Pflanzen, aber keine Schnittblumen. Schnittblumen sind in Japan sehr teuer. Zu teuer für dieses Hotel. Zu guter Letzt: Ich habe dieses Hotel gebucht, um schwimmen zu gehen. Obwohl das Wetter schön war, hatte der Pool am Tag vor meiner Ankunft geschlossen. Er war zwar noch voll, perfekt und ruhig, aber „geschlossen“. Das spart zweifellos Personal und andere Kosten, genauso wie das Herstellen eines eigenen Futons … all das ist für ein Hostel in Ordnung, aber nicht für ein Luxushotel. Ich habe großzügig Sterne vergeben, weil ich gerne freundlich bin und weil einige Mitarbeiter wirklich außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit waren. Wir hoffen jedoch, dass das Management unsere Anmerkungen zur Kenntnis nimmt. Bitte zahlen Sie mehr Personal und halten Sie Ihren Pool geöffnet, solange das Wetter es zulässt. Die globale Erwärmung bedeutet, dass Pools länger geöffnet bleiben können. :-)

Very nice Japanese hotel with good service and facilities (public hot spring bath where women and men are separate and several private hot spring baths that I recommend to book in advance). We also had an amazing massage in the hotel spa. The down side would be that the hotel doesn't offer western beds (only Japansese futons) and that the personnel doesn't speak very good English (but are very nice and are trying their best to help)

Love this onsen hotel very much. My one night stay includes breakfast and dinner. All dishes are tasteful and made with heart, room is spacious. We love the 美景日式房帶露天風呂, and one cave onsen free of charge with high privacy. Nice stay and we will be back agin.

General impression: This is a super decent house with an excellent view of the kinosaki village. You could feel the management put lots of efforts to maintain the best comfort of every guest and the whole team operated under warm & effective process. While we are having breakfast or dinner in the dining area, their staff make a very efficient turn to change our yukata, towels, bottles of water, making up mattress on our room.That impressed us so much! Onsen quality: The onsen inside the house is well managed and run until mid night. We can go outside with the free pass of public onsens, but we also enjoy ourselves in the in-house onsen because of more accessories provided there. You can feel the onsen owner care about guests more than the public onsens outside. Dining experience: We enjoyed the half board experience for 2 nights, especially the 2nd night with the tajima beef sukiyaki. The flavors & taste feed us well. Though breakfast is a bit simple, but we could make up some room in our stomach to enjoy snacks or ice-cream in the village. My friend & I would definitely give 5 star rating to Yamamotoya, and will recommend our friends to visit you again.

Nice hotel but need renovation or refurbishment. Hotel was located near to the port, view from our room was fantastic. The breakfast was very nice, they even serve beef burger and fresh orange juice. Lobby lift area has a very good smell. Hotel has private car park with a rate of 1700 yen per day if not mistaken.

Die Onsen-Einrichtungen, zusammen mit den gelieferten japanischen Bademänteln und Slips, fügen einen erfreulichen Kontakt zu der Erfahrung hinzu. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte eine Vielzahl gesunden japanischen Optionen, die ich sowohl zufrieden als auch ernährend fand. Zusätzlich war die Aussicht auf den Kobe Tower aus meinem Zimmer ein charmantes Highlight. Das Design des Hotels spiegelt einen raffinierten minimalistischen Luxus wider, der eine elegante und ruhige Umgebung schafft. Insgesamt empfehle ich dieses Hotel für jeden, der eine Mischung aus Komfort und traditionelle japanische Gastfreundschaft sucht.

Die Fahrt vom Flughafen Kansai zum Hotel dauert etwa 1,5 Stunden. Kostenlose Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung, was das Hotel besonders für Roadtrips ideal macht. Unser gebuchtes Paket beinhaltete Unterkunft und zwei Mahlzeiten, darunter ein reichhaltiges Abendessen und Frühstück. Das Personal erklärte uns geduldig die Umgebung auf Englisch und empfahl uns, mit dem Hotelshuttle zum Arima-Markt zum Einkaufen zu fahren. Wir buchten außerdem ein privates Onsen für 5000 Yen für 50 Minuten, das beim Check-in erworben werden kann. Einziger Verbesserungsbedarf waren die eingeschränkten Englischkenntnisse des Personals, da sich nur ein oder zwei Personen effektiv verständigen konnten.

We stayed in Arima to experience the gold Onsen. The rooms were fantastic, I absolutely loved the shower in the room. The tatami mattress beds were well cushioned. Though the rooms were a bit small. The table area and sleeping area were the same. During meal times the staff would enter the rooms to convert the table area to bed area vice Versa. From Osaka it was an approx 45 mins train ride and the airport shuttle was very fast. The good thing about using trip.com was that I could utilise the free internet call to call for hotel shuttle
