I loved the place, looks clean. I didn’t eat there was in a rush to drive back but it was great.

Great location, easy access to major attractions in Oxford. Love the literary theme of its interior and rooms. Service and concierge staff were very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Our graduate twin room was surprisingly spacious and very pretty. Breakfast selections were plentiful and of good standard. Highly recommended if ever in Oxford.

Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Benötigte Sachen wie Z.B. Zusatzdecken, Adapter usw. sofort zur Verfügung gestellt. Zimmer sind renoviert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Große Lage, im Herzen der High Street von Woodstock und 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Tor des Blenheim Palace. Das Zimmer war geräumig und super sauber. Sie haben alles, was Sie brauchen und Sie können frische Milch von der Rezeption für Kaffee oder Tee beantragen. Das Frühstück war fantastisch.

A pleasant surprise to find such a gem, at an affordable price. Situated on the edge of Chipping Norton village, close to shops, pubs and the quaint town aforementioned. It does feel very luxurious with the golf setting, our room was a basic one, but that’s all we wanted. It had a nice amenities, like a kettle, tv, lovely shower etc. They even have the upcoming sport ‘paddle’ courts available to hire. Overall a lovely stay while we visited Didly Squat and The Farmer’s Dog. Rebooking for October.

Fantastic. Hotel. Clean room and plenty of space for my daughter and I. We added breakfast which happened to be great value for money. They even cooked her 2 vegetarian sausages which was a bonus. Late checkout time of 11 am was useful to take a shower before leaving. Receptionist staff were exceptional and so friendly. I will be stopping there again for my next Oxford trip.

We have stayed here twice. The first time (2025) we were in the block which is separate to the main building- this was OK and the service was much better. The latest time we stayed we were in the main building- its grotty. The carpet leading to the rooms was stained and the room itself although it looked clean, didn't 'feel clean'-the place could do with a refresh and new carpets. We were unable to get food upon arrival as they stop serving at 9pm- we arrived a couloe of minutes before 9pm after a 4 hour drive, we were disappointe and we could see a couple eating in the bar area whose meals came out long after we had arrived- so really we could have ordered and been served. We ended up ordering an Uber eats meal.

Einfach und reibungslos einchecken. ca. 20 Gehminuten vom Stadtzentrum zum Gasthaus, waren mehr als erwartet.

Stayed here many times! Very great place to stay for a few nights to be away from the city and enjoy the countryside drive. Very comfortable bed. Lovely staff! Highly recommended. Also there is a diner so you can enjoy the food during your stay. Or there is M&S food at the petrol station next door for snacks etc.

Rund 30 Minuten mit dem Auto vom Stadtteil Oxford über die Autobahn entfernt. Kostenloser Parkplatz vor dem Hotel. Eignend für den Autoreisenden. Zusätzlich zu 10 Pfund zum Frühstück. Variante ist begrenzt, aber gut genug, um einen Tag mit ihm zu beginnen.  Das Zimmer selbst ist breit und sauber, nur Marriott Standards so müssen Sie sich Sorgen machen.
