Das Zimmer entsprach genau den Bildern. Zuerst zu den positiven Punkten: Es liegt nahe an der MRT-Station Longshan Temple, etwa 5-6 Gehminuten vom Ausgang 2 entfernt, direkt neben dem Wanhua-Bahnhof. Das Zimmer ist weder zu groß noch zu klein, perfekt für zwei Personen und man kann einen 28-Zoll-Koffer öffnen, ohne dass er im Weg ist. Das Badezimmer hat eine Duschbrause und eine Badewanne, wobei man nicht in der Badewanne duschen muss. Besonders gut gefiel mir, dass Toilette und Dusche getrennt sind. Das Waschbecken befindet sich außerhalb des Badezimmers und hat eine große Ablagefläche, was ich sehr lobenswert finde, da es sich hervorragend zum Schminken eignet und andere nicht stört, die das Bad benutzen wollen. Obwohl das Zimmer nicht groß ist, gibt es ein großes Sofa, ideal um Take-away zu essen und fernzusehen – sehr kinderfreundlich, wie ich finde. Die Lobby bietet die Möglichkeit, Gepäck vor dem Check-in und nach dem Check-out aufzubewahren. Die Mitarbeiter am Gepäckschalter waren außergewöhnlich freundlich, das möchte ich besonders hervorheben. Alle Damen waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit; man konnte jederzeit kommen, um etwas zu erledigen, ohne dass sie ungeduldig wurden. Da kann das Dailihua Hotel in Ximending nicht mithalten. Nun zu den Nachteilen: Die Hotellobby ist geräumig und bietet viele Sitzgelegenheiten zum Entspannen. Da das Hotel keinen frühen Check-in anbietet und man bis 15 Uhr warten muss, ist das für Gäste mit ”Red-eye-Flügen” (Nachtflügen) nicht ideal. Ich war mit meinem Kind unterwegs, und nachdem wir das Gepäck abgegeben hatten und etwas gegessen und uns umgesehen hatten, war mein Kind erschöpft. Obwohl es erst 14 Uhr war, weigerte sich das Hotel, uns einzuchecken. Wir mussten in der Lobby warten, wo jedoch Essen und Trinken nicht erlaubt waren. Man konnte also nur untätig herumsitzen. Außerdem zur Sauberkeit: Beim Check-in war das Zimmer nicht sehr sauber; auf den Ablagen und in den Ecken war Staub. Wer mit Kindern reist, sollte darauf achten und entweder selbst putzen oder die Kinder anweisen, nichts anzufassen. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt und Kaffee- und Teebeutel wurden aufgefüllt, aber die Bettwäsche wurde nicht gewechselt, nur das Bett gemacht. Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt. Taiwanesische Hotels stellen keine Zahnbürsten-Sets zur Verfügung, ich hatte meine eigenen dabei. Ich weiß nicht, ob das Hotel welche verkauft. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen: Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, die Raumaufteilung und Ausstattung sind sehr durchdacht, und das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich würde wieder hier übernachten.

Solides Hotel mit guter Lage. Der Garten mit Pool ist schön gewachsen, wobei die Holzliegen aber ziemlich hart sind und es keine beweglichen Sonnenschirme gegen zuviel Sonne gibt. Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber recht gut in Stand gehalten. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Für Kinder gibt es viel Unterhaltung, für Erwachsene auch Billard. Anders als es den Anschein haben könnte, liegt das Hotel nicht direkt am Strand. Dafür muss eine vierspurige Straße überquert werden. Bei unserem Aufenthalt war der Strand nicht zugänglich, weil die Treppe repariert wurde

Hotel is relative clean. Stayed in a single room with a semi double bed. Size is decent but didn’t realised it was behind the lifts, could hear the lift moving through out the day. The shower head position is pretty bad. It’s not on an angle it’s pretty much like spraying directly into your body. It would be great if they could address this. It’s 15 mins walk from the metro station so not closed. Also there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Crawled out of the drain

1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. Das Hotel ist ok, aber das Zimmer ist groß. Das Restaurant im Hotel ist ein Muss zu versuchen. Meine Tochter LOVE jedes Gericht, das sie bestellt hat. Sie sagte, das ist das beste Essen, das sie in Taiwan hatte, so dass wir zwei Abendessen im Hotel hatten. Die Lage des Hotels ist nicht groß! Wir konnten weder in die Busse einsteigen, um nach Xitou oder Taichung zu gehen, weil die Busse vom ursprünglichen Ausgangspunkt voll waren. Das Hotel bietet jedoch einen Shuttleservice nach und von Xitou, aber nicht von Shanlinxi. Die Vordertafelfrau führte uns nach Xitou, sie war GREAT und sehr bequem, sie nahm uns nach Xitou Busstation außerhalb der normalen Zeitpläne, so dass wir den Bus zurück nach Taichung fangen können. Wir würden mit unserem Auto wieder zurückkommen, um wieder in verschiedene Gebiete in Xitou zu kommen.

I write with much disappointment on your lapse in hotel service. I checked in on 3/12/25 and my son caught a cold. I was at the hotel lobby at 1.5hrs earlier requesting for a check in but it’s allowed. My son and I were left to rest n sleep at the lobby. No one came to us or any empathy shown at all. The next day as my son was unwell n resting in the room, there was dragging sounds that can be heard from the room which lasted for about an hour plus. I called the reception and was told that there is no guest staying above my room 701 nor beside us. My hair stands and immediately requested for a change of room. Without empathy, the reception told me that it could housekeeping upstairs. I was even more puzzled n worried why is there housekeeping where there is no one staying above my room n beside my room? The reception mentioned that they will check again even though I requested for a change of room a few times. Finally, a lady who came to ‘help me’ change room. She given me a doubtful expression and asked me if the dragging sound is still there with no empathy. Thankfully after she asked, there are dragging sounds are heard. She was standing in my room to only see me scramble to pack my things with no apology or empathy. To make things worse, she asked me what time I want to have my breakfast the next day. I really do not appreciate the question when I busy packing my things to a new room. I was later told by the in charge for that day named Connie that the staff are trained not to help guest with their luggage. So is this the reason to show no empathy to your guests by asking the guests' breakfast timing? The lady brought me to third floor but I do not feel good at the walkway as super dark and eerie feel and requested for another room. On my final day staying at the hotel, I was given a call half an hour before 11am to ask to check out of the hotel. I had never encounter such thing before. It then brings me the question whereby if your check in time is 6pm and your check out time is 11am, why then there is a need to rush guests out of the hotel? The hotel will have ample 7hrs for housekeeping. Also, if the room beside my room 701 n above unit has no guest staying, why is it that I cannot check in early on the day of arrival on 3/12/25 where my son is not well? Even more shocking to me, during checking out of the hotel, I was given a document saying that I purchased laundry item which I did not. Imagine if it’s a confidential document that the staff reveal to a wrong guest? This is totally not professional. I requested for the names of staff and the email for me to feedback to the management but they are not willing to do it. I was standing at the front counter in the cold wind for 10 minutes requesting for it. It's really ridiculous! Later, the in charge that day named Betty finally succumb to my request but repeat rudely her name to me. It's such a shame that the hotel is such a good location but I will seriously reconsider or even recommend anyone to stay in there again I hope to hear from you on the above mentioned. Thank you.

Will definitely recommend it to my friends who would like to visit penghu soon... the staff are very accommodating and very responsive to all my inquiries... They offer airport pick up and drop off . They also has a lot of activities that can offer to you like island hopping, daytours, The owner is so down to earth and very friendly....

Vier-Sterne-Hotels sind relativ teurer als Fünf-Sterne-Hotels. Aber die Inneneinrichtung des Zimmers ist sehr schön und meine Wohnung hat einen kleinen Balkon, auf dem ich die Sonne genießen kann, was ein sehr gutes Gefühl ist. Der Service an der Rezeption ist sehr gut, Fünf-Sterne-Niveau. Es gibt nicht viele Frühstücksvarianten, aber die Qualität ist gut. Insgesamt ist dieses Hotel für Alleinreisende geeignet. Darüber hinaus denke ich, dass der größte Vorteil des Lebens hier darin besteht, dass es in der Nähe viele hochwertige kleine Restaurants gibt, darunter koreanische, westliche und japanische Gerichte. Wenn es einen Rabatt für einen Aufenthalt von drei aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen gibt, würde ich ihn meiner Meinung nach jedes Mal, wenn ich nach Taipeh komme, gerne buchen.
