Eine potenziell schöne kleine servierte Unterkunft. Oberflächlich gemütlich, aber alles ein bisschen müde und grubby. Kein Haartrockner, stale wiederfüllbare Flaschen von Toiletten, schüttelige Stücke um die Tappen usw. Es ist so nah an wunderschön zu sein; es braucht nur ein wenig Liebe! Der Lärm vom Pub über die Straße war ziemlich schlecht, aber das ist zu erwarten während des Abschlusswochenendes. Der Konzert am Büro war sehr angenehm und ich fühle mich schlecht, diese Bewertung zu geben, aber es ist ehrlich.

**Absolutely fabulous gem of a hotel – we’re already planning our return!** I’m almost reluctant to sing its praises too loudly in case we can’t get a reservation next time, but I simply cannot recommend The Ocean highly enough. This place is an absolute standout. From the moment you arrive, the service is exceptional. The team is warm, highly attentive, and genuinely approachable – every single member made us feel like valued guests rather than just another booking. They anticipated our needs before we even asked, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfast was superb, with a wonderful selection to suit every taste and waistline. What really elevated it was the full table service – a lovely, touch that made the whole experience feel special and relaxed. The hotel restaurant is an absolute must. After scouting every other option in the area, we ended up eating there both nights of our stay because it was, without question, the best find around. The menu offers a fantastic selection, everything is cooked fresh to order, and every dish we tried was outstanding. The portions are generous yet perfectly judged – so much so that we sadly couldn’t squeeze in a dessert, though the menu looked every bit as tempting as the mains. The hotel itself has been decorated with real taste and care throughout. Our room was stunning – fresh, modern, and incredibly welcoming, while still feeling cosy and homely. It’s such a refreshing change from the usual tired, tacky seafront offerings; the team has clearly poured heart and soul into creating somewhere that feels both stylish and genuinely comforting. Overall, The Ocean is a superb find – one of those rare places that ticks every box and leaves you smiling from check-in to check-out. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area. Booked a pod at 11.30 am for the same night.Surprised to be accepted at such short notice.Arrived approx 8.00pm Lovely Irish lady welcomed me and explained relevant details.The pod was very clean,exactly what it was described online.Toilets and showers clean and well maintained Would definitely return if I have the need to travel to North Norfolk again.Thankyou for such a lovely overnight stay.Great value and very welcoming.

Carpark a little small but you can use next door. Room a little tired with marks on carpet. Quiet room and good sleep. Breakfast included which was good quality, however coffee machine not great.

A Perfect Day at The Bedingfeld Arms! What a truly wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, The Bedingfeld Arms delivered exactly what we were hoping for—and more. Nestled in a charming location, it felt like a gentle escape into the countryside, with just the right mix of warmth and ease. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. We lingered over our meal, not wanting it to end! The rooms were just what we needed: cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. It was so lovely to wake up refreshed and step out into such a peaceful setting. While some might wish for a slightly more “posh” or traditional pub feel—Tom did miss the classic old-world touches like dark walnut floors and the scent of oak smoke in the air—we both appreciated the light, airy ambiance and modern comfort. It’s clear The Bedingfeld Arms has found its own style, and it’s working beautifully. Altogether, it was a delightful, cheerful, and refreshing day, and we’re so glad we chose to spend it here. Vorteile: 1. Lage: nahe dem Bahnhof, Bushalte und erstklassige Geschäfte. Es gibt eine Bar in der Nähe. 2. Personal hilft, wenn erforderlich Mängel: 1. Das Zimmer war schmutzig. Eine roste Schüssel, ein fester Raid in einer Tasse, ein schmutziger Tauch. Es fühlte sich, dass das Zimmer nach vorherigen Mietern nicht gereinigt wurde. Keine Bettbewegung. 2. schmale Treppen und kein Aufzug. Besser ohne schwere Tasche.

Brillante Lage für Norwich City fc und leicht zu erreichen über Auto oder Zug. Einfach zu Fuß in die Stadtgebiete auch. Parkplatz jedoch begrenzt. Er wurde auf ein Doppelzimmer aufgerüstet, das groß war, aber bedeutete, dass der Zimmer unten war und hörte ein bisschen Lärm. Kein Fehler im Hotel/Gasthaus nur wünschen Menschen ruhiger. Im Allgemeinen schöne Aufenthalt und nur Fragen mit Gasthaus waren kein frisches Wasser und kein Friseur im Zimmer. Auch wäre es schön gewesen, warme Schokolade in dem Zimmer.

Booked for one night to go to the football at Carrie road which is about 15min walk from hotel town centre is about 20min walk, it is easy to get to from the station just a short walk, arrived and some other guests let me in at first as the manager was not there, he arrived a few minutes later and quickly booked quests in, very easy process he showed me were I was staying as staying the other side of hotel, told me if I had any problems to ring the number on the paper stuck to the back of the door, and if I wanted to use the WiFi the code was also there. Room was small but had a shower toilet and sink as well as a hairdryer and clothes rack. There was also a kettle with tea and coffee facilities. Overall place was clean and tidy I stayed in the top part at the front it was a pleasant stay.

Communal toilets were clean, the hotel was warm but due to not being able to adjust the heating in the room ( house rules ) it was unbearably hot so we had to have the window open - no consideration from the staff at the restaurant next to the hotel as they were loudly throwing things into the bins just below our room at 12am. Therefore my partner had extremely broken sleep, did not feel rested and was exhausted the next day, but good value for what it is and likely better for solo business travelling as the hotel can supply earplugs. Rang the number for the hotel as advised before checking in, called three times but no answer so had to ring the doorbell twice before being let in, staff seemed unhappy to be answering the door and slightly unwelcoming ( this was at only 5pm )

Das Zimmer war ein zugängliches Zimmer und es gab viel Platz und das Bett war sehr komfortabel. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und heiß. Viele Wahlen Das einzige arme Problem war ein schrecklicher Geruch im Badezimmer. Wir mussten vor der Verwendung Deodorant dort sprühen. Leider war das nicht das, was wir erwartet hatten.
