Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage und das Zimmer mit Meerblick, das wir reserviert hatten, hatte einen schönen Blick aufs Meer. Aber ich muss erwähnen, dass dieses Hotel kein 4-Sterne-Hotel ist. Das ganze Gebäude ist alt und wurde im altmodischen Stil gehalten. Das Bad ist nicht gut, es gibt nicht einmal Wasser im täglichen Service und auch keinen Tee (was man von einem 4-Sterne-Hotel erwarten würde). Der Aufzug ist alt und immer voll, wirklich nicht geeignet für ein elfstöckiges Gebäude.

Ein fantastisches Hotel im Zentrum von Funchala! Das Zimmer überschritt alle Erwartungen. In der Tat ist es besser als auf dem Foto. Das Zimmer hatte alles erforderlich (auch die ausgestattete Küche). Sehr sauber, nur perfekte Reinigung und Reinigung. Willkommen und verantwortungsvolles Personal. Ich würde sicherlich bei der nächsten Ankunft in Madeira in Apartamentos Turísticos Atlantida bleiben (sehr sehr ich möchte glauben, dass ich früher oder später wieder auf die wunderbare Insel kommen werde).

The suites are located on southern beach ***** of the island, accessible by 2 buses or a taxi from the ferry port. Staff was very friendly, although not always aware of things when we asked some questions, but they did endeavour to find out. The bathroom does not have an exhaust fan, and needs some work and the rooms could do with some fresh paint. But overall very nice and comfortable, clean large outdoor pool, plenty of send beds, and umbrellas and beds directly on the beach with lifeguard on duty. The breakfast was tasty too with plenty of options. Would stay again

Die Lage ist großartig; In der Nähe des Flughafens und des Meeres. Über Hygiene, insbesondere über Ungeziefer, wurden viele schlechte Kritiken geschrieben. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 9. Stock und sahen keine Spinne, Ameise oder Kakerlake. Das Hotel ist alt, darunter keine gute Belüftung im Badezimmer, wenige Steckdosen und die Klimaanlage kühlt nicht optimal. Trotzdem sind wir froh, dass wir hier übernachtet haben :)

Das Hotel hat einen schönen Platz! Um die Berge, unter den Grünen und Blumen. Um die Stille, die Vögel singen - voll Entspannung! Unser Zimmer hatte eine eigene kleine Terrasse, wo Sie sitzen können, genießen Sie die Stille und schöne Aussichten. Ein sehr schöner Weg in der Nähe! Es ist notwendig, durch sie zu gehen. Frühstück ist ein schwedischer Tisch, nicht sehr vielfältig, aber wir hatten genug

Hotel Solar BOM Jesus was a delightful stay. I appreciated the quiet and serene atmosphere. The room was spotless and comfortable, perfect for a restful night's sleep. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The hotel's location, nestled amidst stunning scenery, offered breathtaking views and easy access to local attractions. I highly recommend this gem to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat.

This was a very decent and affordable hotel — nothing fancy or luxurious, but it covers the basics quite well. It’s clean, efficient, and does the job for travelers looking for a simple place to stay. One of the best surprises was that if you’re lucky enough to get a room with ocean views, it really adds a lot of value to the overall experience. That said, there were some clear drawbacks. The room itself felt extremely tight, especially for two people with a couple of suitcases. There was very limited space to move around, which made things feel a bit cramped and uncomfortable. The bathroom was also quite small, and while functional, it lacked the comfort you’d hope for in a multi-day stay. One highlight was the balcony. Though the interior space was tight, the room had a good-sized balcony where we enjoyed golden hour and sunset views — that part was genuinely lovely and added a sense of openness and relaxation we didn’t get inside the room. The most significant downside for me was the parking situation. The hotel only has three official parking spots, which are always full. Given the area is busy and surrounded by in-demand places like grocery stores, cafés, restaurants, and a laundromat, street parking is very limited and expensive. I had to park at a nearby garage, which cost 10 euros overnight. As for the rooftop, the amenities there weren’t particularly impressive — nothing that would stand out compared to more upscale hotels. But once again, the ocean and sunset views from the rooftop are stunning and give you a brief illusion of being at a five-star resort. All in all, this hotel offers good value for money, especially if you’re not planning to spend too much time in the room. It’s a solid base for exploring the area, as long as you’re okay with a few compromises in comfort and convenience.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, neben Naturschwimmbad, das Frühstück gibt es im Schwesterhotel daneben und die Aussicht vom rooftop restaurant ist sehr gut. Wir können auch Sauna und Schwimmbad in alle drei Hotels benutzen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hat uns ein zufriedenstellendes Zimmer besorgt. Zu Weihnachten haben wir auch Geschenke bekommen.
