Нам понравилось. Приятный хозяин. Есть парковка, пляжные полотенца, зонтики, даже стульчики хозяин предлагал. В номере холодильник и микроволновка. На первом этаже куплены с питьевой водой. Очень удачно расположен кондиционер в номере. Единственное, это вид из окна, его отсутствие, окна на стройку. А в остальном, все супер.

Das Hotel ist sehr neu und die Einrichtungen sind schick. Außerdem sind Meeresaktivitäten wie Glasbodenboote und Schnorcheln (gute Schwimmkenntnisse erforderlich) kostenlos. Das Frühstück im Strandrestaurant ist köstlich und das Abendessen ist jeden Abend anders. Allerdings ist für das Grundmenü des AI KISU-Restaurants eine zusätzliche Gebühr erforderlich, obwohl es sich um ein Fusionsgericht handelt sieht hochwertig aus, ist aber nicht lecker! Wenn ich noch einmal komme, werde ich dieses Hotel wieder wählen…

Das typisch sehr gut gepflegte und charmante komplexe Hotel Mauritius bietet viele Aktivitäten und ist gut gelegen, um im Norden von Mauritius zu strahlen. Alles wird zur Verfügung gestellt, um den Aufenthalt perfekt zu ermöglichen (Unterstützung, Aktivitäten, Besuche, Taxis usw.) Mehrere vor Ort angebotene Restaurants (Buffetrestaurant und Restaurants mit lokaler Gastronomie) einschließlich im Preis für Halbpension und All In. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und vielfältig und bietet auch die lokale Küche. Das Personal ist zu hören und sehr bedienbar. Das Budget Hotel, alles, was Sie brauchen, ist außer dem Kühlschrank, es ist minus. Aber es gibt eine Küche, wo es einen Kühlschrank und einen Backofen. Drei Minuten zum Strand, neben ihm. Der Balkon läuft Gecone, es gibt auch Moskitos. Die Gastgeber bauen das zweite Gebäude neben dem Meer.

Die Zimmer sind großartig, besonders die voll ausgestattete Küche, die besser ist als Hotelapartments in Europa, Australien und Südamerika. Sie eignet sich besonders für die chinesische Küche. Der Supermarkt befindet sich nebenan. Es gibt Tofu, Pfeffer, Meeresfrüchte und Fleisch. Diese Zutaten sind super gut. Es fühlt sich an wie ein Kind, es fühlt sich großartig an. Die Menschen hier sind relativ wohlhabend, die Menschen leben ein gemächliches Leben, die einfachen Leute spielen neben ihnen Fußball und schwimmen und plaudern am Meer. Das Klima ist sehr gut, viel angenehmer als in Australien und Thailand, nicht heiß. Die Pflanzen sind üppig und sitzen nachts auf dem Balkon, und die Brise weht langsam. Es ist wirklich Mark Twain, der die Menschen in das Traumland eintreten lässt: ”Gott hat Mauritius geschaffen und es dann nachgeahmt, um den Garten Eden zu schaffen.”

The hotel is in need of a makeover, some of the fittings a little outdated. The pool is little more than a plunge pool though the setting is superb. The breakfast is average, so much so that whilst my wife went for breakfast most days I stayed in the room and just had yoghurts. The minibar doesn’t work and nothing is cold in it. There’s no room service menu though they allow outside deliveries for guests. That’s all the bad points. Now for the good points. The rooftop bar is relaxed and atmospheric, the sunsets there are sensational and the cocktails are superb. The service from the staff was incredible. Always helpful and informative and willing to go the extra mile to make you welcome and that makes up for the shortcomings of the actual building itself. Also the location close to Perrybere beach and a short taxi ride to Grand Baie is pretty good too, though it’s a long taxi ride from the airport.

Location was OK. A bit far from Port Louis where I was commuting to (like 30-40 minutes drive after peak hour), but I chose that so it’s OK. I wanted to retreat. Getting taxis after 8pm as a foreigner without local taxi apps is a nightmare so be conscious of this. The cleanliness was wanting. First day big cockroach emerges crawling and at check in the manager just stomps it and kicks it out. No issue but the stain is was on the floor next day when I returned, unmopped! I also found a smaller one on the coffee table, smacked it with my slipper and left the carcass there to test if it would be cleaned as I’d read reviews about bugs and cleanliness needing improvement. It was still there till I messaged concierge to complain about poor cleaning. The dishes also had some stains on some days and the kitchen counter tops were not cleaned with one day me finding cooking oil residue on it after I’d made an egg, exactly where I left it. Again, to test cleaning rigour. The extra kitchen/ dish cloth that was folded and left in the drawer also had flour residue. It obviously wasn’t cleaned or even checked before being returned. On day 2 I was met by a huge flying cockroach on my bedroom wall that I used all the Doom on (thank God they provide this in the apartment 🫣) as I’m petrified of bugs and huge flying ones at that! I left the carcass on the floor after battling that creature for like 30 minutes to test housekeeping and thankfully this one was removed as I left it in plain sight. I had to tell concierge at check out that cleaning in this place needs massive massive improvement. Otherwise it’s a great huge space with great amenities and fittings, loads of parking space and well located for a vacation. The breakfast was just OK. Nothing special. Concierge was proactive in communicating and the security levels are good. They charge a $/€550 deposit on top of the accommodation rate at check in so read the fine print. But it is just a pre-authorization on card so instantly released to card, if you damage nothing. If cash, it’s also instant at check out. I would return, but they need to work out their housekeeping and fumigation issues.
