Family’s Most Favourite Hotel in the UK – Unforgettable Staycation Moments Holiday Inn London–Shepperton by IHG has always been our family’s most favourite hotel in the UK. Whenever my son’s school term break or a long holiday begins, this is the first place we choose to refresh ourselves and truly enjoy relaxing family time. During the final days of the Easter Bank Holiday, we once again had an unforgettable stay here, and the hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Our wonderful experience began at reception, where a professional and welcoming receptionist, Mr. Waleed, assisted us. He kindly helped register our car plate for overnight parking and informed us that the swimming pool facility renovations had been completed. He also thoughtfully let us know that my son Matt could enjoy the pool until 7 p.m. Thanks to his clear explanation and kind arrangement, we had plenty of time to fully enjoy the excellent swimming pool, Jacuzzi, dry sauna, and steam room. It was a perfect way for both adults and children to relax and unwind. After our swim, we were quite hungry. At that moment, Restaurant Manager Mr. Nadeem warmly approached us and started chatting with my son. Matt was absolutely delighted—especially because Mr. Nadeem remembered him from previous visits. His kindness made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. Even while waiting for our meal, we felt cheerful and at ease. At the end of dinner, he took time to speak with us again, encouraging Matt in his studies and sharing that his wife is a wonderful school teacher. These sincere and personal interactions truly touched our hearts. We also followed sightseeing recommendations from other hotel staff and visited nearby attractions such as Walton-on-Thames, which made our trip even more enjoyable and memorable. Once again, Holiday Inn London–Shepperton made us feel welcomed, cared for, and appreciated as a family. This hotel is not just a place to stay—it truly feels like a second home to us. Das erste Hotel, das diese Reise in Großbritannien führt, ist an der Seite der kleinen Stadt Egham, ein Feriendorf, es gibt noch viele Menschen, unser Zimmer ist sehr wunderschön, im Inneren des Hotels, ich habe einen Lastwagen geholt, um zu gehen, um zu gehen und um zu gehen, um zu gehen, um zu Ende zu gehen, ist sehr unscharf. Das Zimmer ist nicht schlecht, sehr elegant. Aber Majiang kann nicht saugen, aber es ist auch eine Nacht lang. Das Hotel Frühstück ist nicht schlecht. Das Eckenbrot ist heiß, die Haut ist ein Stück weg , das ist die beste Ecke, die im Vereinigten Königreich gegessen wird. 

Wonderful hotel. We were here for a wedding. Beautiful grounds , lovely staff . Food  was very good . Rooms had everything you need, although a little hot but they can’t help the heatwave. Nice spa area . Shame they don’t have treatment rooms as we would have booked treatments. Would highly reccomend.

Lovely hotel. Perfect location for races but also nice if not. Beautiful scenery and very quiet. Parking easy with lots of space. We were able to check in early which was great before the racing started. Bar area very nice with a relaxing atmosphere. Staff very attentive. Room was very nice in the 2nd floor facing the golf course, so fabulous View. Very clean. Beds very comfortable and the bedding top quality with the best pillows ever. Toiletries are good quality with a long lasting smell on your skin. Towels greasy , white and fluffy. We had large windows like patio doors so could open wide. Only issue was the outside bar ( was no balcony) had loads of covert and dead insects in it. Breakfast. The dining room again had a very relaxing atmosphere was bright and very clean. The food options were plentiful and of good quality and quantity. Coffee from a machine , but used fresh ground coffee , beans when choosing you options. The bar prices were quite good, didn’t feel I was being over charged and the bar staff were quick and efficient. Overall a superb stay.

Das Hotel ist schön und klein, aber europäische Hotels. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist 12 Pfund und 15 Minuten mit dem Taxi vom Zentrum Großbritanniens entfernt. Bitten Sie einfach die Rezeption um Hilfe. Sie können weder einen Bus nehmen noch zu Fuß gehen, da die Tür des Hotels eine Straße ohne Fußgänger ist, was sehr gefährlich ist. Zurück zur Abschlussfeier, das Hotel in der Stadt ist entweder ausgebucht oder zu teuer, also habe ich es etwas weiter eingestellt. Nicht weit entfernt ist die Neuland-Ecke, die Landschaft ist super gut, man kann dort in 5 Minuten fahren

From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel truly valued as guests. The hotel itself is set in stunning grounds, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. Our room was beautifully presented—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. It’s clear that attention to detail has been prioritized. One of the standout highlights was the spa. The facilities were excellent, and the atmosphere was tranquil—perfect for unwinding. The pool area was spotless, and the treatments were first-class, leaving us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Dining at the hotel was also a fantastic experience. The food was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and served with a smile. It’s evident that the team takes great pride in the quality of their service. Overall, I’m delighted to say that Voco Lythe Hill Hotel & Spa has more than redeemed itself in my eyes. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with top-notch service. Can’t wait to return!

👍👍👍, ich habe tatsächlich ein Mädchen getroffen, das Chinesisch sprechen kann! Das Abendessen ist auch in Ordnung, GOPI ist so gut! Ich habe vergessen, ein Foto zu machen, aber die Lage des British Hotels ist wirklich unglaublich!

Another lovely stay. Evening meal was very good. Breakfast was average. The spa facilities are good. They have added extra hot tubs which was a nice addition although both hot tubs were not as clean as they could have been. We went to the spa very early and was a little disappointed with the amount of scum marks in the hot tub. We felt it should have been wiped round before the first people used it. Other than that we had a lovely stay.

Was there for my son’s graduation. A lovely hotel with huge and comfortable room and a wonderful view. We saw a deer from our room! That was a cute touch to the stay!! A little bit far from the town centre but if you don’t mind taking the bus and see Guildford a little bit more, then its a plus point. There’s a big Tesco down the road which was convenient. The staffs were all so pleasant and helpful! All in all we had a very happy and stress free stay at Holiday Inn Guildford. Tq.
