Booked for two nights to go to Beamish museum . Travelling by train. Walk , part uphill to Castle takes about 30 minutes from the station. Uber £ 8 bus quite complicated.  There is a bus from town centre to the hotel  but it’s quite complicated suggest if unable to walk book a Uber. Bus  from town centre to Beamish entry very easy,  £2.50.  Now for the Castle itself. You can’t help falling in love with the quaint and worn castle the ‘worn’ being part of its attraction. We stayed in the stables in an upstair room. Stairs are quite narrow with small landings so  not suited to those with hip and calling difficulties. Bed , bedding and bathroom immaculate and very comfortable. Room very peaceful with early waking of bird song. Bathroom had a separate magnifying mirror which was very much appreciated. Down side was the dust on the beams over the bed hence the lower score for cleanliness.  Now for the breakfast and restaurant service. Faultless. Food of the highest quality with service to match. Breakfast matches the London 5 star ratings.  Overall this hotel was exceptionally good value and a place we plan to visit again. We highly recommend this for anyone visiting Beamish who appreciates high quality food, something a little different, peace and quiet who enjoys a lovely bath.

We stayed at the Ramside to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom had both a large bath and walk-in shower. We ate in the Rib Room Restaurant where the service of John and his team was excellent and the food of the highest quality.

The size of the room is specious with sufficient space for storing luggage, and the floor is very clean and comfortable to walk on with bare feet, so feel free to leave your shoe by the door. As for the bed, it is very large and comfortable, providing you the high quality of sleeping without any problems. In the bathroom, it is not only very elegant and clean, but also provides unlimited hot water with satisfying water pressure from two types of shower heads. Moreover, there is a mini fridge placed in the lower closet near the wardrobe, feel free to drink the two bottles of spring water prepared by the host or store your own drinks or unfinished meals. In addition, there is a small safe above the fridge for depositing your valuables. In terms of the amenities on the ground floor, there is a high-end restaurant serving traditional English breakfast (e.g. egg benedict) in the morning, and the taste is fine. However, I am not a big fan of their lunch or dinner when you can have better options in nearby restaurants. Furthermore, there is a small bar just outside the restaurant. The Gym, coffee room and reception are at the LG level, and you will receive a 10% discount in the coffee room after check-in. The location is very close to the city center, train station and several main attractions such as the cathedral and castle. Overall, I enjoy my two-day stay very much, the price of the hotel is very cost-effective in terms of the four-star standards, providing an unforgettable experience for both tourists and business travelers.

My stay at this Premier Inn was excellent! The service was friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable room. Conveniently located near the train station and just a short distance from multiple bus stops with many routes. It is located right next to Millennium Square, which features a variety of restaurants! Good location, No room service available. The location is good and accessible near the city centre but the room was not sound proof enough and there was noise from the surrounding street coming into room even at fourth floor which was annoying.

Das Hotel ist relativ alt, aber sauber und verfügt über alle notwendigen Einrichtungen (einschließlich Eisen und Eisenböden). Das Hotel hatte zwei Hochzeiten in der Nacht meines Aufenthalts und zwischen 12:45 und 14:30 war ich nicht in der Lage, für den Schrei, lachen, Party, die über die Gänge stattfand. Ich habe nie von einem Personal gehört, das versucht, die Situation zu lösen, nur viel Lärm. Ich musste 20 £ für meine Hunde zu bezahlen, um zu bleiben und sie wurden nicht erlaubt In dem Restaurant - das ist sehr vernünftig, aber ich muss sagen, dass sie besser verhalten als die anderen Tiere, die nicht gezwungen waren, irgendwelche Zuschläge zu bezahlen oder nicht gezwungen, zu folgen alle grundlegenden Verhaltensregeln. Beim checkout wurde mir nicht einmal gefragt, ob ich einen angenehmen Aufenthalt hatte. Ich nehme an, das Personal wollte nicht die Bestätigung ihrer Missmanagement. Wenn dies die Art der Einrichtung ist, die verwendet wird, aber Trip.com, dann kann ich nur sagen, dass erste Eindrücke eine lange Straße gehen und ich werde in Zukunft an andere Hotelvermittler halten.

Schönes Hotel um die Ecke von Beamish Standort, sehr sauber, Zimmer gute Größe mit Bad und Dusche, Lebensmittel und Getränke schön präsentiert, Personal superb, Spaziergänge für alle Fähigkeiten von Ihnen eine Wanderung wollen

Hotel in einem historischen Gebäude direkt im Zentrum der Stadt. Es ist ein schöner Ort zu bleiben und hat eine bequeme Lage. Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Sehr schönes und historisches Hotel, ziemlich ein wenig zu Fuß zu unserem Zimmer zu kommen. Auch hatte Probleme mit den Treppen in den Hallen, ziemlich ungünstig, um unsere Taschen ins Zimmer zu bekommen
