Hotel Diana – Ein brandneues Hotel, nur wenige Gehminuten vom/zum Flughafen entfernt, sehr guter Service und Frühstück dort. Ich würde dieses Hotel allen empfehlen, die über Nacht umsteigen müssen oder einen Flug am frühen Morgen nehmen müssen!

Direkt neben Thamel, aber außerhalb des Trubels gelegen, ist dies ein herrlicher Gartenhotel ohne jeglichen Lärm. Die Betten haben das typische nepalesische Problem: zu weich und durchgelegen. Dennoch ist es, wenn man eine praktische und ruhige Option sucht, eine ausgezeichnete Wahl. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr gut.

Eins der besten Hotels auf der Flughafenseite. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und gut. sauber und ziemlich. Ich würde sicherlich wieder besuchen und möchte allen Reisenden empfehlen, hier zu bleiben.

Very clean comfy room, and well located within the Thamel area. As for the service, 5 for the hostel staff Rupak, who was extremely helpful and responsible (with all measures making sure I was the owner of my luggage before returning it to me when I lost the luggage tag); that said, I’m not fond of the person-in-charge at the travel agency under the same company, who turned rude upon knowing I’m not gonna use his service on the last day.

The hotel is conveniently located and the room had a nice traditional design. However, I encountered a strong smell in the room, which made my stay uncomfortable. I burned incense to improve the air, which unexpectedly led to a dispute with the hotel about compensation. The amount they requested was surprisingly high and difficult for me to understand. Eventually, the issue was resolved through the booking platform, but the experience was stressful and not something I expected on my trip. I hope the hotel can handle such situations with more flexibility and understanding in the future

We had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel for a total of 6 nights, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff displayed an authentic and warm hospitality that made us feel truly at home. Their genuine friendliness and willingness to assist with every request went above and beyond our expectations. One of the highlights of our stay was the remarkable cleanliness and tranquility of our room. It was evident that great care was taken to ensure a pristine environment, allowing us to relax and unwind in utmost comfort. The icing on the cake was the superb internet reception, which allowed us to stay connected seamlessly throughout our stay. Our stay was punctuated by delightful mornings indulging in an exquisite breakfast spread. The puri or chapati and curry quickly became our favorites, perfectly complemented by the aromatic masala tea and the flavorful masala omelette – a true culinary delight! The hotel's al fresco dining experience was an absolute treat. The ambiance was charming, and the food left an indelible mark on our taste buds. With each meal, we explored a plethora of different dishes, each more tantalizing than the last. It's safe to say that the culinary offerings exceeded our expectations in every way. A noteworthy mention is the hotel's convenient proximity to Boudha Stupa, a mere 10-minute walk away. This made our visits to the stupa incredibly convenient and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in its serene atmosphere. What sets this hotel apart is not only its remarkable amenities and services but also the unique opportunity it offers. The daily free yoga and meditation sessions held within the monastery on the premises are truly transformative. We highly recommend inquiring about the schedule from the attentive hotel staff – it's an experience that added immeasurable value to our stay. In summary, our time at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of attentive staff, immaculate rooms, delectable cuisine, and the added touch of free yoga and meditation sessions make this hotel a standout choice for anyone seeking a memorable stay near Boudha Stupa. Ich hatte eine wunderbare Erfahrung, in diesem Hotel zu bleiben. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich, professionell und immer bereit, zu helfen. Das Zimmer war sauber, komfortabel und gut ausgestattet mit allem, was ich brauchte. Ich habe die friedliche Atmosphäre und die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Details in der ganzen Unterkunft besonders geschätzt. Die Lage war auch sehr bequem, nahe den Geschäften und Transport. Ich würde sicherlich noch einmal hier bleiben und empfehlen, es jedem zu suchen, einen entspannten und harten Aufenthalt!

The staff allowed us to check in early after a long overnight train.  Thank you. The hotel is comfortable and perfectly located.  We could walk to the Potala and Jokhang Temple. Dozens of restaurants and cafes were also within walking distance. There was oxygen in the rooms and breakfast staff were very welcoming.  Would stay there again.

Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Flughafen, nur 5 Fahrminuten entfernt. Nachts ist es absolut ruhig, ohne Flugzeug- oder Verkehrslärm – viel angenehmer als in Touristengebieten. Das Hotel ist neu und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, vergleichbar mit gehobenen Hotels in Nepal. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Mitarbeiter waren überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Flughafentransfer ist kostenlos, für das Absetzen am Flughafen wird jedoch eine Gebühr erhoben. Das Hotel ist von Wohnhäusern umgeben und bietet Frühstück sowie einen 24-Stunden-À-la-carte-Service. Trekking in Nepal ist einfach fantastisch!

Ausgezeichnete Aufenthalt und warme Gastfreundschaft in Mercure Kathmandu Das war mein erstes Besuch in Kathmandu, und Mercure Kathmandu verließ wirklich einen wunderbaren Eindruck. Von dem Moment, als wir ankamen, stand der Service und die Gastfreundschaft heraus. Ein besonderer Verweis auf Paras, der uns vom Flughafen entnommen und uns bei der Eincheckung geholfen hat. Er war außerordentlich freundlich und professionell, und hat sogar einige sehr nützliche Informationen über das Umgehen von Kathmandu gegeben, die uns wirklich helfen, die meisten unserer Reise zu machen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Frühstück für nur eine Person reserviert, aber das Hotel freundlich erweiterte komplimentäres Frühstück für uns beide ein Geste, das wir wirklich geschätzt haben. Das Zimmer selbst war wunderschön sauber, komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Die Toiletten waren komplett, auch mit einem Rasor und Rasencreme, was ein schöner Touch war. Insgesamt waren die Mitarbeiter in unserem Aufenthalt konsequent hilfreich und freundlich, so dass wir sehr willkommen fühlen. Sehr empfehlen Mercure Kathmandu jedem, der die Stadt besucht großartig Service, Komfort und warme Gastfreundschaft überall!
