Schon beim Betreten des Hotels durch die imposanten Drehtüren war ich von seiner zeitlosen Pracht und der Liebe zum Detail beeindruckt. Die Lobby ist ein Meisterwerk aus Marmorböden, funkelnden Kronleuchtern und luxuriösen Sitzgruppen, die eine Atmosphäre von raffiniertem Luxus ausstrahlen. Das Personal empfing mich herzlich und checkte mich effizient ein. Während ich die Formalitäten erledigte, wurde mir ein erfrischendes Glas gekühlte Limonade angeboten. Anschließend wurde ich zu meinem Zimmer begleitet, und meine Vorfreude wuchs mit jedem Schritt. Beim Betreten des Zimmers war ich sofort von seiner Größe und der luxuriösen Einrichtung beeindruckt. Das Kingsize-Bett mit seiner frischen Bettwäsche und den weichen Kissen lud zum Entspannen ein. Die gemütliche Sitzecke mit Sessel und Hocker war ideal, um es sich mit einem Buch bequem zu machen oder einfach den Blick über die Stadt durch die großen Fenster zu genießen. Das Badezimmer war schlichtweg atemberaubend: glänzende Marmoroberflächen, eine tiefe Badewanne und eine begehbare Dusche mit mehreren Duschköpfen. Durchdachte Annehmlichkeiten wie flauschige Bademäntel, Hausschuhe und hochwertige Pflegeprodukte trugen zum luxuriösen Ambiente bei. Das Zimmer verfügte außerdem über eine gut gefüllte Minibar, eine Nespresso-Maschine und einen großen Flachbildfernseher mit einer riesigen Senderauswahl. Doch es war die Liebe zum Detail, die dieses Zimmer wirklich auszeichnete – die perfekt platzierten Kunstwerke, die eleganten Lampen und die nahtlose Integration der Technologie in das klassische Dekor. Als die Sonne unterging, beschloss ich, die Restaurants des Hotels zu erkunden. Während meines gesamten Aufenthalts war ich immer wieder beeindruckt vom Streben des Ritz-Carlton nach Exzellenz. Die Mitarbeiter, vom Concierge bis zum Housekeeping-Team, waren aufmerksam, kompetent und taten alles, um meinen Komfort und meine Zufriedenheit zu gewährleisten. Ob es nun darum ging, mir einen privaten Wagen für meinen Termin zu organisieren oder mir eine lokale Sehenswürdigkeit zu empfehlen – der Service war makellos. Ein Highlight meines Aufenthalts war die zentrale Lage des Hotels, die es mir ermöglichte, die pulsierende Stadt bequem zu erkunden. Nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt entdeckte ich charmante Cafés, exklusive Boutiquen und lebhafte Kulturstätten. Das Concierge-Team des Ritz-Carlton war eine unschätzbare Hilfe und versorgte mich mit Insider-Tipps und Reservierungen, damit ich meine Zeit optimal nutzen konnte. Als sich mein Aufenthalt dem Ende zuneigte, fiel es mir schwer, den luxuriösen Komfort und die raffinierte Eleganz des Ritz-Carlton zu verlassen. Dieses Hotel ist wahrlich ein Weltklasse-Reiseziel und bietet eine unvergleichliche Kombination aus Luxus, Service und Liebe zum Detail. Ob Geschäfts- oder Urlaubsreise – das Ritz-Carlton Hotel ist eine hervorragende Wahl, die einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlässt. Ich freue mich schon jetzt auf meinen nächsten Besuch.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, 7 Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt, 10 Minuten vom Uftzy Museum entfernt, aber es ist schwer zu finden, weil es kein Hotelzeichen gibt! Auch wenn ich in der Nähe von 10m stand, weiß ich nicht, ob ich hierher kommen würde. Als ich den in der Nähe ansässigen Hotelmann fragte, wurde ich auf die kleine Tür ”da” angezeigt. Auf den Referat, öffne es und dann auf den dritten Stock und fertige die Ankunftsverfahren. Das Zimmer ist sehr süß. Als ich sagte, das Frühstück sei ein früher Morgen, antworte ich flexibel: ”Ich kann im Frühstücksgeschäft machen und einen Tag vor der Lieferung verlangen.” Außerdem bietet es einen Kaffee, Kühlschrank und Bettwäsche. Wenn Sie das Zimmer verlassen und oben aufsteigen, werden Sie eine Terrasse finden, die die Landschaft des gemeinsamen Daches der alten Stadt sehen kann. Wenn Sie die Aufenthaltsverfahren reibungslos anwenden, wird es ein gutes Hotel sein.

Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

We stayed at Agriturismo Podere l’Aione during our Tuscany road trip, and overall it was a pleasant stay with warm hospitality, but there is one important point future guests should know. First, the positives. The property itself is very charming and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful Tuscan countryside. The compound is spacious and relaxing, and the small cottage-style rooms feel cosy and private. The rooms appear fairly new (the property is only about four years old) and have modern amenities with a proper heating system, which made the stay comfortable. Parking inside the compound is also very convenient and safe. The hospitality was excellent. The owner’s daughter who welcomed us was very friendly, helpful and lovely. The lady attending breakfast was also incredibly warm and attentive, making the morning experience very pleasant. The people running the place truly make guests feel welcome. However, the main reason for our feedback is that the first photo shown in the listing does not appear to be this property. The image appears twice in the listing and shows a much larger estate with a very big swimming pool and a different compound layout. We booked the stay thinking it was that beautiful estate shown in the photos and were excited to experience that setting. When we arrived, we realised the accommodation is actually a smaller white cottage-style agriturismo, which is still beautiful, but quite different from the property shown in the first images. The one I uploaded the first two picture does not belong to this property. We were quite disappointed. Some more, it is the first image listed in this property, so we thought it is but if not. Because of this, it felt a little misleading at first as we kept wondering where that particular property in the photos was. In terms of pricing, similar agriturismo stays in this region with comparable cottage-style rooms can often be found for around SGD150 per night. However, we paid over SGD250+ which is roughly about 40% higher, because we believed we were booking the property shown in the main photo with the large swimming pool and grand compound. To be clear, the place itself is lovely, cosy, peaceful and well maintained, and the hospitality is wonderful. Our only suggestion would be for the management to update the listing photos so they accurately represent the actual property, which will help future guests have the right expectations. A small note for guests with mobility concerns: since the compound is quite spread out, you may need to walk a short distance and take a few steps to reach some of the cottages. Overall, it is still a charming countryside stay with very kind hosts, but the listing photos should better reflect the actual property

The best location with the most friendliest staffs. The room is very clean. The only two disturbing thing is the lift is very small and it could be noisy at night but that didn't put us off. Breakfast was also fantastic!

The hotel design is very traditional and beautiful. Room is very clean and very comfortable with design ! Breakfast was superb in terms of Europe standard. Staffs are super friendly and helpful during the stay and we hope we will stay at this hotel soon.

Es ist etwa 5 bis 8 Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Das Zimmer ist groß genug. Der Raum ist sehr elektronisch und schön Das Frühstück war recht zufriedenstellend, aber die Klimaanlage ließ sich nicht einschalten, also öffnete ich zum Glück das Fenster. Die Person, die am ersten Tag das Zimmer gereinigt hat, hat die Handtücher im Zimmer mitgenommen und keine neuen gegeben. Ich erfuhr am Morgen, dass ich ihn gebeten hatte, es zu liefern, aber er hat es nie geliefert.

Das Frühstück bot eine große Auswahl und war jeden Morgen (2 Nächte) köstlich. Auch das Zimmer war sauber und wir konnten die Müdigkeit unserer Reise auskurieren. Da ich zum ersten Mal mit dem öffentlichen Bus innerhalb von Florenz unterwegs war, hatte ich Schwierigkeiten, zwischen dem Bahnhof Florenz und dem Hotel zu gelangen, sodass ich schließlich ein Taxi nahm. Wenn Sie den Bustransport zum und vom Bahnhof beherrschen, werden Sie einen noch besseren Eindruck hinterlassen. Das Hotel selbst war gut.

We had a wonderful stay at c-hotels Joy Firenze - the location is ideal for exploring Florence. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from Santa Maria Novella train station, which made both arrival and departure incredibly easy, and most major sights are within walking distance.  The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was going well. Breakfast every morning was great, and a huge shout-out to Jade, whose kindness and willingness to go above and beyond made our mornings even better!  Our room was spotless and smelled amazing - honestly one of the best hotel room scents we’ve experienced, I’d happily use whatever they’re using at home! Overall, this was a fantastic base for our Florence trip. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city - a perfect mix of location, service, comfort, and value. 10/10 from us!
