Die Aussicht von der Hotellobby im 26. Stock ist sehr gut. In der Lobby weht einem ein sehr frischer Duft nach Meeresparfüm ins Gesicht, der einem schon beim Betreten das Gefühl eines High-End-Hotels vermittelt. Die Damen und Herren in der Lobby waren sehr begeistert, erkundigten sich und schoben mein Gepäck. Als ich eincheckte, wurde mir sogar ein Upgrade der Zimmerkategorie mit Meerblick angeboten eine tolle Überraschung! Vom Fenster des Zimmers aus können Sie den Berg Yantai, die Mondbucht, die Chaoyang-Straße und die Stadt auf einen Blick sehen. Es wird dringend empfohlen, diesen Ort zu wählen und zu Fuß erreichbar. Ich habe vorher gezögert, Hilton zu buchen, aber die Lage war ungünstig, also habe ich mich schließlich für Pullman entschieden. Es hat sich gelohnt!

Dies ist definitiv ein 5-Sterne-Hotel und wir würden es wegen der Lage und des Services empfehlen. Das einzige Problem, das wir hatten, war beim Check-in, als wir um 16 Uhr ankamen und uns gesagt wurde, dass unser Zimmer noch nicht fertig sei und es noch 1 bis 1,5 Stunden dauern würde, was völlig inakzeptabel war, da Check-in um 15 Uhr ist. Die Dame versuchte, uns ein anderes Zimmer zu verkaufen, kein kostenloses Upgrade, sondern uns den Aufpreis zu berechnen. Ich dachte, das ginge nicht, und da wir seit 4 Uhr morgens den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren, hätte unser Zimmer fertig sein sollen. Nachdem wir den Upsell abgelehnt hatten, wurde uns plötzlich gesagt, dass in etwa 20 Minuten ein Zimmer verfügbar sei, aber in einem niedrigeren Stockwerk als wir angefordert hatten. Wir waren immer noch nicht zufrieden und dann erschien plötzlich ein anderes Zimmer, auch nicht in einem höheren Stockwerk. Wir beschlossen, es zu nehmen, weil wir so müde waren. Als wir im Zimmer ankamen, hatte es keine gute Aussichtsposition, hatte eine Wand vor dem Fenster. Wir gingen wieder nach unten und dieses Mal fragte ich nach dem Manager. Jack kam, um sich um uns zu kümmern und verstand uns endlich. Er gab uns einen Getränkegutschein und wir setzten uns hinein Wir haben uns im schönen Loungebereich umgesehen und ein eiskaltes Getränk getrunken. Innerhalb von 10-15 Minuten hatte Jack uns ein Zimmer in einem höheren Stockwerk besorgt (wie wir es ursprünglich gewünscht hatten) und uns auf unser Zimmer gebracht. Die Aussicht war ungehindert und das Zimmer viel besser. Jack schickte uns auch ein paar Bier aufs Zimmer und entschuldigte sich vielmals. Danke Jack für deine Hilfe. Ich wollte hier nichts Negatives schreiben, da dies ein schönes Hotel ist und die Shangri-La-Gruppe normalerweise sehr gut ist. Wir haben schon oft an verschiedenen Orten übernachtet, aber ich musste das einfach erwähnen, weil ich nicht möchte, dass andere Leute, die den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren, ankommen und ihr Zimmer noch nicht fertig ist und sie dann länger warten müssen. Das ist einfach nicht richtig. Alles andere lief reibungslos und die Einrichtungen sind großartig, Swimmingpool, Lage, Sauberkeit. Nochmals vielen Dank an Jack, ein netter Kerl

Der Stil des Hotels ist warm und energiegeladen und eignet sich zum Fotografieren und Einchecken. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und schonend für Lendenwirbelsäulenspondylose. Darüber hinaus eignet sich der kostenlose Abhol- und Bringservice vom Flughafen für Geschäftsreisen. Der Roboter kann Essen zum Mitnehmen direkt aufs Zimmer liefern. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr rücksichtsvoll

Es ist das Fairy Hotel! Es ist sehr schön, beim Einchecken in der Lobby köstliches Grapefruitbier sowie kleine Geschenke von Ferragamo und mehrere 1903-Freibiergutscheine zu trinken. Auch die Dekoration ist superleicht und luxuriös, die Flure sind so schön, die Zimmer sind in meinem Lieblingsstil gehalten und die Einrichtungen sind sehr modern. Auch der Service ist super gut, das Dufterlebnis toll und der gewählte Lavendel kann beim Schlafen helfen. Gegenüber befindet sich das Restaurant 1903, das alle möglichen chinesischen und westlichen Geschmäcker befriedigt. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr hoch und das Essen ist köstlich Biersorten:) Ich habe beim Auschecken auch ein kleines Geschenk gemacht. Es ist wirklich voller Freude.

Es hat mich absolut nicht enttäuscht! Die Lage ist erstklassig, ganz in der Nähe von Hongmen, nur zwei bis drei Gehminuten entfernt. Der Besitzer ist unglaublich nett; er ist immer für mich da und reagiert sofort und effizient, wenn ich etwas brauche. Auch das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und hat mir sogar beim Aufwärmen des Essens geholfen. Mein Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm; das Zimmer war blitzsauber und die komplett möblierte Einrichtung sehr praktisch. Ich würde diese Unterkunft definitiv wieder wählen, wenn ich die Gelegenheit dazu habe! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I found what looked like an engorged tick or bedbug crawling up my bed. The hotel is pretty and I booked it for 1 night as a luxury treat so I could get a good rest for my layover stop to another destination. My room smelt like stale smoke unfortunately, though I had asked for non-smoking. I paid extra on my booking for breakfast and had to wake up at 6am, eat breakfast at 6.30am and go to the airport at 7.20am. My room had a bathtub so I took a bath before bedtime and went to bed at midnight, I got up to go switch the lamp off at 1am and found this bug crawling up the side of my bed going towards me. I think it's either a tick or a bed bug, the body was full of blood. It had 6 or 8 legs, difficult to see but I took a video which doesn't allow me to upload. I don't have any problems with normal bugs such as spiders, but if it is a tick or bedbug it is a big problem. I was really worried there were more hiding inside the bed, I called reception for help and they looked at the bug which I caught in a glass cup. They apologised deeply and changed my room, so I had to move at 1.30am. I explained I was already tired and have to wake up early. In the new room I was unable to sleep as I kept worrying about bed bugs. I got up multiple times to check my bed. And there was a noisy couple next door talking loudly until very late so I couldn't sleep. For a luxury hotel you should not need to loose a whole night's sleep because you are worried about bedbugs or ticks biting you. Nor should be able to hear noise from other guests through the wall. I was extremely exhausted the next day and did not have any appetite. I asked if they could refund the extra I paid for breakfast because I couldn't eat it, but they said it wasn't possible. So I forced myself to try eat 1 egg and some small rice porridge but couldn't finish it. Really expensive to pay for breakfast and hardly eat, it's a shame they couldn't refund the breakfast considering I had no sleep. For a 5* hotel, I would like to have good rest and peaceful sleep. But it was not like that. The staff were very kind and helpful, but it's not so easy to travel here alone. It was not easy to book a taxi for the following morning to the airport and it took 40 minutes of assistance, the man was very kind and helpful, but the hotel should make an easier system for foreign guests to book taxi. When I first arrived in Jinan airport, I had no idea how to get to the hotel. There is no ATM inside the hotel so you cannot withdraw cash, and you cannot pay with foreign card to book a taxi. The shangri-la website did not provide any details for public transport. It simply said bus transfer was available but did not say which number bus. I would give the details here but I have forgotten the route name and bus number now as it was hectic and I was very tired, sorry. I had to waste a lot of time trying to ask for help at the airport as the staff did not speak English. Luckily someone helped me. The bus will cost 20yuan and take you into the centre where you will see the intercontinental hotel and a large shopping mall on the left side of the bus, get off at that stop, it takes 1 hour. From there it's only 5 minutes walk to shangri-la. For a big hotel they should provide easy instructions on the website to guests. The staff apologised deeply for the bug on the bed, and offered 10% reduction of the room rate. Although when I checked out no refund was given and they didn't mention anything about it, I think they just charged full price. Personally I think 10% is not enough anyway. Nobody wants to change rooms at 1.30am because of bugs crawling on the bed. I didn't get any sleep at all and felt itchy because I kept thinking about bugs and couldn't eat the breakfast. I was absolutely exhausted the following day so I was unable to do anything at my next destination and had to waste 1 day more to rest. Unfortunately not an easy experience at the shangri-la.

Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt gut. Allerdings funktionierte das Xiao Du-Gerät nicht während meiner Besuchszeit, was ein wenig ungünstig war. Außerdem gab es einen Tag, als die Hausaufsicht vergessen hat, mein Zimmer zu bauen. Trotz dieser Fragen bietet das Front Desk-Personal einen guten Service und war immer hilfreich und freundlich. Die Lage ist auch ziemlich nahe Dai Temple, was die Sicht einfacher macht.

Being situated close to Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport makes it an ideal choice for transit passengers or those with early departures or late arrivals. The transfer process was straightforward, and the proximity significantly reduced travel-related stress. The Deluxe Queen Room itself was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was comfortable, and the room was well-maintained, with clean linens, a tidy bathroom, and adequate amenities. The layout felt functional rather than overly luxurious, but it delivered exactly what one would expect from an airport hotel in this category. Sound insulation was reasonably effective; despite the airport location, noise levels were minimal and did not disrupt rest. Service throughout the stay was professional and efficient, with a level of attentiveness that stood out in the smaller details. In particular, the duty manager, Ali, made a strong impression through his proactive hospitality. As a welcome gesture, he personally brought a selection of local Shandong and Qingdao soft drinks to my room, which was a thoughtful and culturally considerate touch. This small act added a personal dimension to the stay and reflected a genuine commitment to guest experience beyond standard service expectations. Facilities appeared comprehensive, though my stay was brief and primarily focused on rest rather than exploring all offerings. The lobby and common areas were well presented, creating a calm and organised first impression. Dining options were convenient, and while not exceptional, they were satisfactory in quality and variety for a short stay. In terms of value, the hotel performs strongly. It delivers reliability, cleanliness, and comfort without unnecessary extravagance. For travelers prioritising practicality, convenience, and a good night’s sleep before or after a flight, it is a solid choice. Overall, the Grand Barony Qingdao Airport Hotel provides a balanced blend of efficiency, comfort, and accessibility. The attentive service, highlighted by small but meaningful gestures from staff such as Ali, elevates the experience and reinforces the hotel’s reputation as a high-quality and dependable airport accommodation option.

Das im Voraus gebuchte Zimmer mit Meerblick war sehr groß. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist recht weit und der Service ist akzeptabel. Das Bett war recht bequem und die Badewanne war groß. Der Wasserdruck war instabil und es gab nur eine Taschentuchbox. Der Inhalt des Kühlschranks wird bezahlt und es gibt kein Willkommensobst. Alles andere ist in Ordnung. Das Frühstück ist besonders gut, mit viel Auswahl und grundsätzlich lecker. Das Frühstück ist für den gleichen Preis ziemlich gut.

Wunderschönes Hotel, die Architektur und die Designdetails sind atemberaubend. Aber das Beste ist das Hotelpersonal, alle sind sehr professionell und sympathisch. Alle, die wir trafen – die Rezeptionistin, die Kellnerin im Restaurant, das Fitness- und Reinigungspersonal – waren lächelnd und freundlich. Wir bekamen das Paket und probierten die Kleidung im Han-Stil an, und die Mitarbeiter boten an, beim Fotografieren im Hotel zu helfen. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, wenn ich das nächste Mal in Qufu bin. Vielen Dank für einen wundervollen Aufenthalt.
