Die Aussicht von der Hotellobby im 26. Stock ist sehr gut. In der Lobby weht einem ein sehr frischer Duft nach Meeresparfüm ins Gesicht, der einem schon beim Betreten das Gefühl eines High-End-Hotels vermittelt. Die Damen und Herren in der Lobby waren sehr begeistert, erkundigten sich und schoben mein Gepäck. Als ich eincheckte, wurde mir sogar ein Upgrade der Zimmerkategorie mit Meerblick angeboten eine tolle Überraschung! Vom Fenster des Zimmers aus können Sie den Berg Yantai, die Mondbucht, die Chaoyang-Straße und die Stadt auf einen Blick sehen. Es wird dringend empfohlen, diesen Ort zu wählen und zu Fuß erreichbar. Ich habe vorher gezögert, Hilton zu buchen, aber die Lage war ungünstig, also habe ich mich schließlich für Pullman entschieden. Es hat sich gelohnt!

Nicht sicher warum. aber die Temperatur im Zimmer ist so heiß. hatte die AC/Heizmaschine ausgeschaltet. das Fenster geöffnet. aber noch kein Glück. außer, alles war gut Neben dem Hotel ist ein schönes Einkaufszentrum.

Der Aufenthalt im MGM ist großartig. Vom Zimmer aus kann man den Blick auf die Berge und die Stadt genießen. Außerdem gibt es im Kühlschrank eine Auswahl an Getränken, um den Durst zu stillen. Erwähnenswert ist auch EVA Xiaosun an der Rezeption Ich habe geduldig eingecheckt und das Schwimmbad und das Fitnessstudio informiert. Die Lage ist sehr rücksichtsvoll, da mir das kleine Löwenmaskottchen sehr gut gefällt, also habe ich gefragt, ob es verfügbar sei. Mir wurde gesagt, dass es nicht genügend Vorräte gäbe, aber nachdem ich erfahren hatte, dass ich nur Ich war für eine Nacht hier, habe um Hilfe gebeten und es mir sogar aufs Zimmer geschickt. I found what looked like an engorged tick or bedbug crawling up my bed. The hotel is pretty and I booked it for 1 night as a luxury treat so I could get a good rest for my layover stop to another destination. My room smelt like stale smoke unfortunately, though I had asked for non-smoking. I paid extra on my booking for breakfast and had to wake up at 6am, eat breakfast at 6.30am and go to the airport at 7.20am. My room had a bathtub so I took a bath before bedtime and went to bed at midnight, I got up to go switch the lamp off at 1am and found this bug crawling up the side of my bed going towards me. I think it's either a tick or a bed bug, the body was full of blood. It had 6 or 8 legs, difficult to see but I took a video which doesn't allow me to upload. I don't have any problems with normal bugs such as spiders, but if it is a tick or bedbug it is a big problem. I was really worried there were more hiding inside the bed, I called reception for help and they looked at the bug which I caught in a glass cup. They apologised deeply and changed my room, so I had to move at 1.30am. I explained I was already tired and have to wake up early. In the new room I was unable to sleep as I kept worrying about bed bugs. I got up multiple times to check my bed. And there was a noisy couple next door talking loudly until very late so I couldn't sleep. For a luxury hotel you should not need to loose a whole night's sleep because you are worried about bedbugs or ticks biting you. Nor should be able to hear noise from other guests through the wall. I was extremely exhausted the next day and did not have any appetite. I asked if they could refund the extra I paid for breakfast because I couldn't eat it, but they said it wasn't possible. So I forced myself to try eat 1 egg and some small rice porridge but couldn't finish it. Really expensive to pay for breakfast and hardly eat, it's a shame they couldn't refund the breakfast considering I had no sleep. For a 5* hotel, I would like to have good rest and peaceful sleep. But it was not like that. The staff were very kind and helpful, but it's not so easy to travel here alone. It was not easy to book a taxi for the following morning to the airport and it took 40 minutes of assistance, the man was very kind and helpful, but the hotel should make an easier system for foreign guests to book taxi. When I first arrived in Jinan airport, I had no idea how to get to the hotel. There is no ATM inside the hotel so you cannot withdraw cash, and you cannot pay with foreign card to book a taxi. The shangri-la website did not provide any details for public transport. It simply said bus transfer was available but did not say which number bus. I would give the details here but I have forgotten the route name and bus number now as it was hectic and I was very tired, sorry. I had to waste a lot of time trying to ask for help at the airport as the staff did not speak English. Luckily someone helped me. The bus will cost 20yuan and take you into the centre where you will see the intercontinental hotel and a large shopping mall on the left side of the bus, get off at that stop, it takes 1 hour. From there it's only 5 minutes walk to shangri-la. For a big hotel they should provide easy instructions on the website to guests. The staff apologised deeply for the bug on the bed, and offered 10% reduction of the room rate. Although when I checked out no refund was given and they didn't mention anything about it, I think they just charged full price. Personally I think 10% is not enough anyway. Nobody wants to change rooms at 1.30am because of bugs crawling on the bed. I didn't get any sleep at all and felt itchy because I kept thinking about bugs and couldn't eat the breakfast. I was absolutely exhausted the following day so I was unable to do anything at my next destination and had to waste 1 day more to rest. Unfortunately not an easy experience at the shangri-la.

Das Zimmer ist relativ groß. Ich habe die Stadtblick Zwillingszimmer. Das Bett ist größere als ein Einzelbett, wahrscheinlich ein Zwillingsbett. Das Zimmer ist im alten Flügel, aber zumindest fühlt es sich nicht alt und überraschend ziemlich ein angenehmes Aufenthalt. Valley Flügel ist die neuere Seite. Dieses Hotel scheint ein beliebtes Konferenzhotel zu sein. In meinen 4-5 Tagen dort zu bleiben, gab es immer eine Konferenz im Hotel. Das Hotel hat größere Taxis, die 5-6pax nehmen können. Der Taxi geht per Meter, so war es vernünftig. Das Hotel ist sehr bequem gelegen, neben dem MixC Einkaufszentrum. Es gibt viele Restaurants im Einkaufszentrum, wo wir Abendessen hatten. Es gab auch viele Bakterien und ein Supermarkt im Einkaufszentrum. Es gibt auch die üblichen McDonalds, Starbucks und Glückskaffe. Es gab auch einen neuen Songmont-Shop, der kürzlich im Mall eröffnet wurde. Zum Frühstück gibt es hinter dem Hotel eine Spur, wo wir die Dumplings und Nüsse für Frühstück/Brunch versucht haben. Guter Preis, ca. 100yuan für 5 Pax. Billig und gut.

Das Hotel ist nicht weit von Taishan entfernt, es hat einen speziellen Parkplatz 🅿️, geeignet für Autofahren. Das Hotel ist 13 Stockwerk hoch, das Buffet ist im 12. Stock, gegenüber Taishan, Sonnenaufgang, 18 Platten von Taishan... . Sie können durch das Fenster gefilmt werden. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, es gibt eine Vielzahl von warmen Gerichten, Gemüse, Obst 🍉, Getränke 🍸, verschiedene Blumen, Brot 🥯, Touristen, die alle Geschmacksmuster erfüllen können. Das Hotelzimmer ist warm, 24 Stunden warmes Wasser ist genug, Wi-Fi ist strömend, das Zimmer ist trocken, intelligente Pferde, keine Hygiene und Todesurteile, kein Geschmack. Hotel-Personalservice ist enthusiastisch, sorgfältig, effizient und sehr schnell. Das im Voraus gebuchte Zimmer mit Meerblick war sehr groß. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist recht weit und der Service ist akzeptabel. Das Bett war recht bequem und die Badewanne war groß. Der Wasserdruck war instabil und es gab nur eine Taschentuchbox. Der Inhalt des Kühlschranks wird bezahlt und es gibt kein Willkommensobst. Alles andere ist in Ordnung. Das Frühstück ist besonders gut, mit viel Auswahl und grundsätzlich lecker. Das Frühstück ist für den gleichen Preis ziemlich gut.

Airla, die Rezeptionistin, war beim Einchecken unglaublich hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Wir hatten so viel Glück! Das Zimmer mit Meerblick war unglaublich sauber und komfortabel! Das Hotel verfügt außerdem über ein Fitnessstudio, einen Swimmingpool, ein Business Center und kostenlose Parkplätze. Das Zimmer hatte außerdem einen Fernseher mit Projektor und eine Minibar. Die Liebe zum Detail war hervorragend und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war ausgezeichnet!

The hotel is located right at the airport - 5 minutes to walk to the terminal inside the convinient indoor corridor. That is very convenient for our early flight. The rooms are ok. The reception staff doesn't always understand English, so, if you don't speak Chinese, there can be problems. And the main disappointment was that all the restaurants in the hotel (two restaurants) as well as the lobby bar are closed at 21:00. We came to the hotel ar 21 having hoped to have dinner, but had to stay hungry.

While visiting Taishan looking for a hotel that had connecting rooms or a family suite the options are limited but we found the Jianguo Hidden hotel family suite was perfect for our needs. The hotel is brand new with works still being done on the 1st floor, and swimming pool but this didn't affect our stay. The hotel is built as pert of a residential complex and the interior layout of the rooms reflects the original intent of an apartment meaning the bathroom and toilet are together and a bit squashy. The are is quite new so there isn't much around, but within a short walk there is a bunch of restaurants and a supermarket. A good base to head to Taishan. If you drive an electric car almost all bays in the carpark were fitted with slow chargers, good for an overnight top up..
