Dongying Wanda Realm hotel is very comfortable and the best I have stayed in Dongying. Spacious, quality rooms, very clean with excellent facilities, particularly the pool and gym, and with very attentive, pleasant and helpful staff, especially Andrew who has provided excellent assistance over my many stays. Highly recommended for short or long stays as the go-to hotel in Dongying.

I rank this hotel number one for my stay in China! its just so amazing, everything is neatly branded and high quality, room is well organised and everyone in the hotel is offering smile in their face, the view is incredible, the experience is unexplainable, This is a must stay hotel for anyone visiting Jinan city! Das im Voraus gebuchte Zimmer mit Meerblick war sehr groß. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist recht weit und der Service ist akzeptabel. Das Bett war recht bequem und die Badewanne war groß. Der Wasserdruck war instabil und es gab nur eine Taschentuchbox. Der Inhalt des Kühlschranks wird bezahlt und es gibt kein Willkommensobst. Alles andere ist in Ordnung. Das Frühstück ist besonders gut, mit viel Auswahl und grundsätzlich lecker. Das Frühstück ist für den gleichen Preis ziemlich gut.

Die Aussicht von der Hotellobby im 26. Stock ist sehr gut. In der Lobby weht einem ein sehr frischer Duft nach Meeresparfüm ins Gesicht, der einem schon beim Betreten das Gefühl eines High-End-Hotels vermittelt. Die Damen und Herren in der Lobby waren sehr begeistert, erkundigten sich und schoben mein Gepäck. Als ich eincheckte, wurde mir sogar ein Upgrade der Zimmerkategorie mit Meerblick angeboten eine tolle Überraschung! Vom Fenster des Zimmers aus können Sie den Berg Yantai, die Mondbucht, die Chaoyang-Straße und die Stadt auf einen Blick sehen. Es wird dringend empfohlen, diesen Ort zu wählen und zu Fuß erreichbar. Ich habe vorher gezögert, Hilton zu buchen, aber die Lage war ungünstig, also habe ich mich schließlich für Pullman entschieden. Es hat sich gelohnt!

Fürchte, dass der Flug verzögert wurde, hat dieses Hotel fertiggestellt. Die Zimmerdetails wurden gut gemacht. Das Personal der Rezeption hat das Wetter sorgfältig geprüft und im Frühjahr noch einen großen Schnee gesehen. Der Morgen-Senderservice ist sehr rechtzeitig und ist für Geschäftsreisen geeignet. So intimer Service, ich muss das nächste Mal hier leben!

Qingdao ist Anfang August etwas heiß und trocken, daher wird die Wahl eines guten Hotels der Reiseroute Punkte hinzufügen. Es war mein erster Aufenthalt im MGM und Frau Chen Qingyang hat sie sehr professionell und fürsorglich empfangen. Sie hat das Zimmer kostenlos aufgewertet, mit Meerblick. Das Erlebnis ist unglaublich und der Infinity-Pool auf dem Dach ist noch schöner . Bleiben Sie tagsüber im Hotel, warten Sie bis 19:00 Uhr, um auszugehen, und gehen Sie zehn Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand. Der Sand ist weich und die Meeresbrise ist angenehm. Im Sommer müssen Sie an den Strand kommen. Empfohlen~

I found what looked like an engorged tick or bedbug crawling up my bed. The hotel is pretty and I booked it for 1 night as a luxury treat so I could get a good rest for my layover stop to another destination. My room smelt like stale smoke unfortunately, though I had asked for non-smoking. I paid extra on my booking for breakfast and had to wake up at 6am, eat breakfast at 6.30am and go to the airport at 7.20am. My room had a bathtub so I took a bath before bedtime and went to bed at midnight, I got up to go switch the lamp off at 1am and found this bug crawling up the side of my bed going towards me. I think it's either a tick or a bed bug, the body was full of blood. It had 6 or 8 legs, difficult to see but I took a video which doesn't allow me to upload. I don't have any problems with normal bugs such as spiders, but if it is a tick or bedbug it is a big problem. I was really worried there were more hiding inside the bed, I called reception for help and they looked at the bug which I caught in a glass cup. They apologised deeply and changed my room, so I had to move at 1.30am. I explained I was already tired and have to wake up early. In the new room I was unable to sleep as I kept worrying about bed bugs. I got up multiple times to check my bed. And there was a noisy couple next door talking loudly until very late so I couldn't sleep. For a luxury hotel you should not need to loose a whole night's sleep because you are worried about bedbugs or ticks biting you. Nor should be able to hear noise from other guests through the wall. I was extremely exhausted the next day and did not have any appetite. I asked if they could refund the extra I paid for breakfast because I couldn't eat it, but they said it wasn't possible. So I forced myself to try eat 1 egg and some small rice porridge but couldn't finish it. Really expensive to pay for breakfast and hardly eat, it's a shame they couldn't refund the breakfast considering I had no sleep. For a 5* hotel, I would like to have good rest and peaceful sleep. But it was not like that. The staff were very kind and helpful, but it's not so easy to travel here alone. It was not easy to book a taxi for the following morning to the airport and it took 40 minutes of assistance, the man was very kind and helpful, but the hotel should make an easier system for foreign guests to book taxi. When I first arrived in Jinan airport, I had no idea how to get to the hotel. There is no ATM inside the hotel so you cannot withdraw cash, and you cannot pay with foreign card to book a taxi. The shangri-la website did not provide any details for public transport. It simply said bus transfer was available but did not say which number bus. I would give the details here but I have forgotten the route name and bus number now as it was hectic and I was very tired, sorry. I had to waste a lot of time trying to ask for help at the airport as the staff did not speak English. Luckily someone helped me. The bus will cost 20yuan and take you into the centre where you will see the intercontinental hotel and a large shopping mall on the left side of the bus, get off at that stop, it takes 1 hour. From there it's only 5 minutes walk to shangri-la. For a big hotel they should provide easy instructions on the website to guests. The staff apologised deeply for the bug on the bed, and offered 10% reduction of the room rate. Although when I checked out no refund was given and they didn't mention anything about it, I think they just charged full price. Personally I think 10% is not enough anyway. Nobody wants to change rooms at 1.30am because of bugs crawling on the bed. I didn't get any sleep at all and felt itchy because I kept thinking about bugs and couldn't eat the breakfast. I was absolutely exhausted the following day so I was unable to do anything at my next destination and had to waste 1 day more to rest. Unfortunately not an easy experience at the shangri-la.

Gute Lage. Die U-Bahn-Station „Platz des 4. Mai“, an der zwei Linien verkehren, ist nur zwei Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt. Das Zimmer ist geräumig, sauber und geruchsfrei. Letzteres ist positiv, da einige einheimische Gäste das Rauchverbot im Hotel missachten. Es gibt alte und neue Gebäude. Das Gebäude und die Zimmer im alten Gebäude sind veraltet, aber noch gut instand gehalten. Eine Renovierung wäre dennoch angebracht.

Overall, my stay was good. However, the Xiao Du device didn’t work throughout my visit, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, there was one day when housekeeping forgot to make up my room. Despite these issues, the front desk staff provided good service and were always helpful and polite. The location is also quite close to Dai Temple, which makes sightseeing easier.
