An absolutely magical stay on the bay in Eastern Iceland — easily one of the most memorable cabins we stayed in during our trip. The location is simply spectacular. Waking up to seals swimming in the water and then lazing along the shore right in front of the cabin felt almost surreal. It’s the kind of place where you could happily spend hours just looking out at the bay and watching the wildlife go by. The cabin itself was beautifully designed, cosy and exceptionally well equipped. The hosts had thought of so many little details that elevated the stay — from good-quality cookware and a well-stocked kitchenette to spices, pasta and rice in the pantry, luxurious Icelandic herbal teas, a generous selection of Nespresso capsules and welcome chocolates waiting for us on arrival. These thoughtful touches made it feel far more like a boutique retreat than simply a cabin stay. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, and despite its compact size, the kitchenette and washroom were thoughtfully designed and completely functional. We especially loved the telescope provided for wildlife spotting — such a brilliant addition given the incredible surroundings. And, of course, the sunroof was a highlight in itself. There is something incredibly special about lying in bed and looking up at the Icelandic sky (would be amazing during Aurora season)! Peaceful, intimate and surrounded by nature, yet with all the comforts you could ask for. Between the seals at our doorstep, the beautiful bay views and all the thoughtful details inside, this was a truly special Icelandic stay and one we would return to in a heartbeat.

Das Apartment auf der schönen Halbinsel Snæfellsnes hat uns gut gefallen. Die Wohnung war mit einer kleinen eingerichteten Küche gut ausgestattet, auch eine Kaffeemaschine und einen Toaster gab es. Die Betten waren bequem, es gab Schränke, neben der Sitzgruppe noch eine Couch zum Ausziehen. Zu dritt hatten wir genügend Platz. Den Zugangscode haben wir jedoch nicht von Trip.Com erhalten. Der Vermieter hat auf unsere Anfrage per Mail nicht geantwortet. Vor Ort stand ein Telefon im Treppenhaus mit Telefonnummer, Zettel, Stift. Wir haben angerufen und direkt den Nummerncode erhalten. Das Haus wirkt wie ein ehemaliges Bürogebäude, unser Blick aus dem Fenster ging auf den Parkplatz. Die Bettwäsche war sauber, aber wirkte abgenutzt. Bitte erneuern. In der Nähe gibt es ein Restaurant, Apotheke, Lebensmittel, ein Bad. Frischen Fisch direkt vom Fischer haben wir leider nicht gesehen.

ホットタブがついていたのがとても良かった。 個室ではWi-Fiは使えないが共用スペースでは利用可能だった。共用のキッチンは清潔で広かった。 ベッドリネン台は宿代に含まれていなかったため、宿予約後にリネンを予約した。プラスで料金かかるので注意。 1人1500iskだったはず。 あと、シャワー室は個室ではなく他のお客さんと一緒に入らないと行けなかったのが個人的に嫌だった。個室のシャワーも一つぐらいあったらいいのにと思った。

🌟 So ein schöner und perfekter Aufenthalt!! Hoch empfohlen! ❤️ Wir blieben in Moar Cottage als Gruppe von drei, und alles war absolut wunderschön!! 🥰 Die Wohnung war super sauber, gemütlich, gemütlich und warm, was uns zu Hause fühlte! Die Küche war voll ausgestattet mit allem, was wir brauchten, und sie haben sogar Salz, Pfeffer und Kochöl für uns zubereitet, haha! So ein wenig überdenkend! 😆 Das Badezimmer war auch spotless, und auch Shampoo wurde bereitgestellt! Die Lage war auch fantastisch! Es gibt einen Supermarkt nur eine 5-minute Fahrt weg, was alles so bequem machte! Insgesamt konnten wir wirklich nicht um einen besseren Aufenthalt gebeten haben! Alles war einfach perfekt, und wir genossen hier jede Minute! ❤️ Vielen Dank, so viel für das Zusammenbringen einer so schönen und willkommenen kleinen Wohnung! Wir schätzen wirklich alle Bemühungen und denkendsten Details. Wäre ich absolut lieben, hier irgendwann wieder zu bleiben!! 🥹💕

Sehr schönes Hotel. Alles großartige, nur unten war die Lage. Wir hatten nicht verstanden, wie weit es von allem war. Groß für das sehen von Nordlichten, aber mindestens 2 Stunden Fahrt zu vielen der beliebten Sehenswürdigkeiten.

The floor is warm, even though there are strong winds at night in the area, there is no one talking around. The sound of the wind is like natural white noise, and there are mini bar drinks, tea, and coffee included in the accommodation price. The service staff are very good, and the environment is very quiet except for natural factors. It is bright and clean, and the air is not cold at all

A little further out from Borgarnes but it’s a nice quiet place. It’s very cute and had everything needed during the stay. The breakfast had a large variety but pretty simple—still a good spread though no continuous restocks through breakfast time. There’s only stairs to get up to the second floor in the main building. The common area/lobby was very nice and cutely decorated. I greatly appreciated the various board games provided and we spent the night playing, laughing, and relaxing after a long day. Overall a clean place! Staff were very friendly and nice too!

We slept well. Our room was the golf course view. The 9 hole informal golf course was a pleasant surprise. We played in the morning after breakfast as a morning walking exercise.

Everything was perfect. Our bedroom over faced the mountains. The shared bathroom was only shared with another room. We had diner there and it was excellent. Breakfast was also very good
