Like coming home - the staff is amazing - the homey extra touches were at every turn. Fresh cookies - maybe homemade? Hit breakfast every morning.

I've never had the luxury of staying at any "high-end" hotels. But this stay made me feel as if I did. Was it a gold-trimmed penthouse suite? No, but it was certainly one of the nicest, cleanest overnight stays I've ever encountered. In hindsight, had I known I'd be stopping here; I would have planned ahead and started my trip earlier so i could savor the experience. Pricing was marginally more than the other local options, but I feel I made the right choice. Would stay again. Note: I'm not a hotel/motel connoisseur by any means, as I'm somewhat frugal and many of my unplanned adventures wind up with me sleeping in my car at a rest stop or walmart parking lot. Not just out of frugality, but because the price vs. value doesn't often make sense. Especially considering I've found myself in some, let's say, shady accommodations. This includes the Super 8 brand from time-to-time. This occasion has left me more than pleasantly surprised. I hope that the brand has improved and that the Troy location is now the norm, rather than the exception.

Hair dryer did not work, walked to my car with wet hair to get my hairdryer, only to find out it was the outlet that did not work. Saw ants in the bathroom, also toilet would keep running. Mentioned this to front desk, no apologies were given. Just that she would mention this to maintenance. Paid way too much for all these inconveniences. Would not stay there again.

I was traveling alone and stopped wurh no reservation. The front desk was kind, and speedy. The property was clean. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast area clean, filled with yummy food

What a fantastic property; a very nice surprise to have found it. I am a hotel task force general manager traveling the country working on different assignments and stopped because I was too tired to drive. - and found a front desk 'All-Star' Emily performing no less than 101% desk and laundry chores. What a great employee. I'd steal her in a moment. Great guest-facing talent, provided information on everything I needed. Check-in was a breeze and a pleasant welcoming. Thank you Angela, my first floor accommodation is great with little touches here and there that reflects great hospitality.

This was absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel. I booked this one for a last minute trip to take my daughter to a camp. The room looked clean at first glance. However, we opened up the pull out couch for my daughter and it was filthy. Dirt streaks, yellow stains, and loose dirt on the mattress cover. Later she wanted to soak in the jacuzzi tub, but it had dirty particles floating once we began to fill it. Even my 7 year old was disgusted. Also, I couldn’t get the tub to drain at all. The kicker to the whole trip was the drunken wedding party that arrived at midnight. They were slamming doors, yelling, and knocking on random doors from midnight until 2:30 am. I called the front desk twice and the first time the guy said he’d talk to them. The second time he said he was too busy checking in other guests (in the middle of the night). It was to the point that we considered calling the police ourselves. I’ve never felt so unsafe. We told the front desk lady at check out the next morning and she gave us a whopping 10% off the crazy $258 they charged for that one terrible night. She also told us that the drunks were causing problems in the lobby as well. The staff was completely unprepared to handle unruly guests and apparently this hotel is made for people like that. So if you want a place to host a drunken, loud party, this is your place.
