Auf einem Familienausflug während des Frühlingsfestes wohnte unsere vierköpfige Familie in einem Turm-Zweibettzimmer im 13. Stock. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und konnte den Glockenturm sehen. Das Zimmer ist komplett ausgestattet mit Minibar, Kapselkaffee, Teebeuteln, Haartrockner, Bügeleisen, Passwortbox, 3 Flaschen Mineralwasser pro Tag, Einwegzahnbürsten (diese gibt es in anderen Hotels nicht, Einweghausschuhe). Das Bett ist ruhig weich, aber unterstützend. Als Person, die gerne tief schläft, verspüre ich beim Aufwachen am nächsten Morgen keine Beschwerden in der Taille. Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage. Bis zum Opernhaus, zum Hyde Park, zu Kunstgalerien, zum Botanischen Garten und zu Museen sind es nur zehn Minuten. Unten im Hotel gibt es verschiedene Einkaufszentren und Luxusgeschäfte und zum QVB sind es 5 Minuten. Werde es Freunden empfehlen, die Sydney besuchen!

What a relieve when I checked into the Radisson Blu Plaza Sydney! Had a total rip-off by the Sydney Harbour Marriott two blocks away. Marriott is 3-star pretending to be a 5-star. Radisson is a 5-star presenting like a 5-star. Radisson is miles ahead in every aspects compared to the Marriott, Room amenities are so much better, newer and modern, and breakfast is way better too! Bathroom with a tub is a joy compared to the Marriott that don’t even have a door separating the shower.

4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Das Hotel ist nur wenige Gehminuten von den Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt. Am Flughafen gibt es eine U-Bahn. Sie können am Bahnhof Wenya aussteigen und mit der Google-Karte in 8 Minuten zum Hotel navigieren. Die U-Bahn-Kosten sind nicht billig und die Taxipreise wurden nicht verglichen.

Ich kann das QT 5/5 leicht für den Service geben - ihr Jungs seid wunderbar und wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Leider scheinen einige Teile unseres Zimmers ein wenig verbraucht zu sein, nicht ganz, wo ich für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel erwartet hatte. Zum Beispiel war die Fässer im Bad schwach und der Teppich an der Einfahrt zum Bad ist ein wenig gebrochen. MwSt - wie irritierend ist, dass super poröse Fliesen Oberfläche zu halten sauber? Auch nur Fingermarken aus dem Reiniger zeigen! Gah! Wir liebt die kostenlosen Cocktails von Gowings, die Verwendung der QT-Umbrella war so geschätzt, und die wunderschönen Teilnehmer am Eingang waren eine Freude. Insgesamt war es ein schöner Aufenthalt im Herzen der Stadt.

I organised a group get together of 74+ year olds. A reunion 50 years after medical school graduation. Everyone was so happy. The GM Klaus was very corporative in arranging a 'gala' dinner for us in a separate room. The desk staff courteous and helpful. The rooms were small - but very elegantly designed. The lighting subtle and pleasant. Beds comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. THANK YOU

Room initially appeared well presented with good basic amenities and good central location for what we needed. Bathroom with large shower and good water pressure. Bed comfy.Front reception staff friendly and helpful. Parking close by (although a bit of a rabbit warren to get to / from car park, you also may need to tell parking staff that you a a guest of the hotel to get in as it also has public parking and fills up). The negatives I noted that bedside table had a couple marks (looked greasy/ hadn’t been cleaned properly) otherwise the room appeared clean to me. The tea and coffee looked like it was skimped (box showing 4 pods of coffee only had one). Friend in different room had similar experience and their soap was empty. Heard another guest complain about the cleanliness of their room to front reception whilst I was waiting in the lobby. For me the real surprise was being charged for things I didn’t use in the minibar. I rang them once I was home and reception told me it wasn’t an error, and the bill would remain (however they said ‘we will check’). I had one drink, not 3… unless I drank them whilst asleep!This is actually the action which motivated me to review this hotel, so others know to be careful. The charge won’t break my bank account but I feel like I have been shortchanged. I think all the issues with the hotel are with housekeeping, I won’t stay again though due to the minibar charges. If the housekeeping improved (cleanliness, refilling consumables and not charging guests for items not used) it has potential to be a nice hotel.

Check-in bei Bar 2:30pm. Freundlicher Service. Altmodi-Manuelle Tür aufsteigt ins Zimmer, fügt Charme hinzu! Zimmer zeitig mit TV, Fan (kein Luftkon), einzelnes Bett und Tauch. Gemeinsames Badezimmer in der Nähe. Ich blieb für ein Ereignis in der Stadt, so brauchte nur irgendwo zu krassieren, bis morgens Züge. Hatte einige Nachtkappen spät in der Bar unten. Es wurde geschätzt. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und erlaubten mir einen Endgetränk in der letzten Bestellung. Preis war recht auf Agoda. Günstiges Zimmer für eigenes Zimmer. Lage ist ace in der Nähe von Tramstop, Wynyard Station und Kreisquay. Wird für einen Besuch der Stadt wieder verbleiben.

Unterhalb der Busbahnhof ist es zu verschiedenen Orten in verschiedenen Städten, wie Bondi Beach. Die Hoteleinrichtungen sind allgemein, das Bett ist sehr schlank und ich mag nicht, dass es in der Schale ist, andere Einrichtungen sind sauber.

Wir waren knapp eine Woche zu viert im A by Adina in Sydney. Wir hatten ein Apartment mit zwei Zimmer im 20. Stockwerk. Das Apartment war gross, modern und hatte eine tolle Aussicht. Bemängeln müssen wir aber die Sauberkeit. Es war teils noch ziemlich dreckig als wir eingezogen sind (z.B. Haare auf dem Duschkopf, verklebter Föhn, dreckige Spiegel und dreckige Bettdecke (siehe Bild)). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir sind oft ins Dean&Nancys Frühstücken gegangen, welches sich direkt 1 Stockwerk oberhalb der Rezeption befindet. Wir wurden dort nie enttäuscht, auch das Personal dort ist sehr freundlich und das essen war super, die Aussicht fantastisch. Den Pool haben wir nur einmal benutzt, da es in dieser Zeit etwas windig und frisch in Sydney war, somit war es leider etwas zu kalt, da der Raum teils keine Fenster hat. Der Pool war leicht beheizt somit lauwarm. Die Lage des Hotels ist ein Traum für Stadtliebhaber. Das Opera House ist nur etwa 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Rund um das Hotel gibt es viele Geschäfte, Kaffees, Restaurants und Bars, somit alles in Reichweite.

Ich war gut, wie in den 80er Jahren war ich arm und lief um Australien, um die ersten beiden Ausgaben meines ersten Romans, Erlaubnis zum Kill, über den Vietnamkrieg. Wenn das Wetter inzwischen war, musste ich in Low End Hotels fahren. Hier bin ich, zurück in Sydney versucht, die Flamme der Berühmtheit wiederzuheben, indem ich meine eBook-Ausgaben aller meiner Romane drückte. So ging ich in den Wynyard. Es hat sich nicht etwas geändert, es ist immer noch ein 2.5 Star Hotel. Kleines Zimmer, mit einem Fenster, das im Wind rutschte und im Regen leckte. Geteilt, Badezimmer. Niedriges Licht, mit dem Lärm von der Innenstadt Sydney ringt wie ein konstanter Alarm. Ahhhh, zu Hause.

Location drew me to Establishment, situated near some of my favourite restaurants in Sydney and close to the venue where I was doing business. Establishment delivers for location. I also chose Establishment for a little bit of luxury to break a heavy work schedule and it did not live up to expectation. It seems to be a great party crash hotel for the bucks/hens night with few services that really speak to the time poor luxury business traveller. It’s beautifully styled with a comfortable bed, but that is about the limit. It’s the services and the quality of the room features that let it down. No 24 hour room service and a menu that is not reflective of the quality of the food precinct it’s situated in. (I went out to get an excellent take away breakfast that I brought back to my room rather than order anything from the scant breakfast menu that looked like a take away menu). I left my computer power charger at home, but concierge could not help me with one to borrow or ideas on where I could buy a replacement. The bath is very narrow and not much hot water - I boiled the kettle to get it a bit warmer. Hunter products in the bathroom but there was no hair conditioner and few of the little luxuries that you would expect in such a stylish bathroom such as extra towels, make up mirrors/lighting, an extra soap for the bath. The room fittings are pretty tired and scuffed up. It’s certainly ready for a bit of a renovation/ refresh. The carpet looks like it’s seem some amazing parties. The room, particularly the bathroom, smelled strongly of cigarette smoke despite it being a non smoking hotel. The bathroom shower curtain was really dirty and needs to be replaced. Lots of marks on the walls and scuff marks on furniture - looks tired and a bit worn out. There is no dedicated space to work for business travellers, other than a long table near the window but I had to sit on the bed. Inside the lift the small seating looks like it had seen some parties as well and not clean enough to sit on. No hand sanitiser anywhere. This was the most expensive room rate for the CBD area I wanted to be in, and the result was disappointing. As a lover of boutique hotels, I was looking forward to staying here, but based on this experience I won’t return and can’t recommend this one.
