Standout was the unique rooms which are extremely private, spacious and beautifully designed along the lagoon. Personally I didn’t quite understand the ‘Butler’ concept and found some of the comms style a bit frustrating. The other standout was the ‘Day of the dead’ celebrations. The property was decorated beautifully and very well organised. The opportunity to also participate was great as we felt emerged in the festivities. It would have been nice if the dinner package also included the face painting. More broadly the property is set within mayakoba so you can explore the grounds including the other hotels and it was fun to explore on the bikes. The only other thing to be aware off is also this is the more premium / exclusive hotel in mayakoba it’s still geared towards families or at least there where quite a few kids around. Finally don’t have high expectations of the beach it’s tiny and there isn’t much space. If you want high end luxury visit Maroma.

Abba Suites is sweet! Great downtown location. Right in the middle of it all on 10 & 10...We stayed here a total of 10 nights on our month long family beach vacation. The rooms were great...very nice and newer...full kitchen minus the oven which you dont really need on a trip to Mexico...seperate bedroom from living area which was nice for mommy and daddy 😄🙌. The absolute best rooftop swimming pool view...were we could watch sunrise & sunset! The standout stars were Denise & Nevida! They are just great and made this stay extra special for us. Everytime we walked in the building they were so welcoming and helpful with any questions or suggestions we had. Honestly we could easily just talk and hang out with them. Nevida turns out to be very good at rubik cube solving and our 7 year old son took a liking to him right away and even with how busy he was he took the time to teach our son some super helpful tips and encouraged him to keep practicing the rubiks cube. The hotel location was really great. It's just one street away from a very lively and loud street, so the hotel is in a calm location during the day. However, at night, during the weekends it still gets noisy until 2 am. It's only a five minute walk to the beach which was full of sargassum the time we were there. The room was a good size in the bed was very comfortable. We also used the gym which was fairly equipped and the pool look good, although very narrow. Our stay included breakfast, which was à la carte where you choose one main dish/person and 3 drinks (which only included black coffee, juice and tea). Not really worth it for a short stay in my opinion. First day we had an issue with the breakfast order and the restaurant staff handled it poorly, but it was ultimately resolved with the reception staff, Alma, stepping in. I have to thank Alma for being so understanding and kind to us, every day during our day. We also had an issue of missing some cash, and I think the manager handled it really well; the investigation, giving us the update, all of it.

Großer Aufenthalt bei Riu Playacar Wir genossen unsere Aufenthalte in diesem sauberen, gut organisierten Resort mit geräumigen, ruhigen Zimmern (unser hatte keinen Balkon, aber es war toll). Die Minibar war ein schöner Kontakt, und das Badezimmer war ohne Spott. Höchstwerte: ✔ Lebensmittelsorte – Mehrfache à-la-carte Restaurants (Nicht nötig für Abendessenreservierungen) und Buffets mit guten Mittagessen/Frühstücksoptionen. ✔Strand – Viel Sonnenbäder, aber keine Umberalla, so bringen Sie Ihren Sonnenschirm, obwohl Pools besetzt werden les Sonnenbäder. ✔ Zugriff auf Schwesterhotels – Party-Liebhaber können in der Nähe des Riu Tequila Clubs besuchen. ✔ Bequeme Lage – Mini-Markt über die Straße, und Playa del Carmen (5th Ave) ist nur ein 150-peso Taxi fahren entfernt. ✔ Easy airport transfer – ADO bus (250 pesos/person, 45-min Fahrt + 5-min taxi 150 pesos next to ado tourism station). Kleine Nachteile: ✖ Keine Aufzüge – Hart für Gäste mit Mobilitätsproblemen. ✖ Unterhaltungs-Hiccups – Der Gastgeber hat manchmal vergessen, nach spanischen Ankündigungen zurück ins Englische zu wechseln. Perfekt für: Reisende, die gute Werte, Vielfalt und Nähe zum Nachtleben von Playa wollen.

Das Hotel liegt am Rande der Fifth Avenue und die Umgebung ist gut. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass die Straßenbar zu laut ist und der Klang der Musikbar um drei oder vier Uhr morgens immer noch laut ist.

Das Hotel war fantastisch: in der Nähe des Zentrums von Playa und mit großartigen Einrichtungen wie Schwimmbädern, Fitnessstudio, vielen Restaurants und Aktivitäten. Perfekt für Paare!

Firstly El Beso is simply 1 building within the larger Ocean Rivera resort. Meaning only your building is Adults Only. Our Swim up room was lovely. We tried almost all if not all of the 10 restaurants and we had no complaints the food was good. Maybe not always amazing but never terrible. There’s like 3/4 different brands or levels of service within the larger resort. El Beso seems to be 1 level from the top which is Privilege we switched for an extra night & the mini bar for privilege was much better as well as having the butler service and priority restaurant bookings when they were all booked. There’s also a special restaurant only for privilege that was great but none of the restaurants were extremely crowded. There’s an app or webpage that works like an app with all of the resort info and you can book reservations there. There’s also lots of entertainment nightly. It’s definitely a place to go and stay there’s no need to venture outside of the resort there’s so many things to do schedules are packed for all of the different areas & a bowling alley and theater. There is not much near by the tourist area is maybe 20 mins away by car down the beach.

Was für ein schönes Hotel! Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen ☺️. Das Personal und die Ausstattung waren wunderbar!

Die Landschaft ist so gut! Die Atmosphäre ist so gut und der Pool ist so gut! Allerdings ist die Antwort zu langsam und es ist zu schwer, per E-Mail zu kommunizieren
