Standout was the unique rooms which are extremely private, spacious and beautifully designed along the lagoon. Personally I didn’t quite understand the ‘Butler’ concept and found some of the comms style a bit frustrating. The other standout was the ‘Day of the dead’ celebrations. The property was decorated beautifully and very well organised. The opportunity to also participate was great as we felt emerged in the festivities. It would have been nice if the dinner package also included the face painting. More broadly the property is set within mayakoba so you can explore the grounds including the other hotels and it was fun to explore on the bikes. The only other thing to be aware off is also this is the more premium / exclusive hotel in mayakoba it’s still geared towards families or at least there where quite a few kids around. Finally don’t have high expectations of the beach it’s tiny and there isn’t much space. If you want high end luxury visit Maroma.

Es ist eine Hotelgruppe, die drei oder vier Hotels zusammengefasst hat, die für die Familie geeignet ist, die auch nur für Erwachsene offen ist, das Hotel ist sehr groß, es muss ein Reisebus nach jedem Ort zurückkehren, mehrere Hotels Hallen und Restaurants und verschiedene Einrichtungen können gegenseitig verwendet werden, die Aktivitäten sind sehr reich, Unter jedem Gebäude gibt es einen Administrator, der alle Bedürfnisse der Kunden dieses Gebäudes betreut! Der Service ist sehr gut! Der Administrator wird jeden Tag nach 8 Uhr morgens den ganzen Tag der Veranstaltungszeitplan und die öffnungszeit des Restaurants und aller Arten von Konzerten veranstalten. Die Aktivitätszeit wird allen gesendet, sehr intim! Die Aktivitäten sind auch sehr reich an Tagen! Es gibt 20 verschiedene Restaurants in der Hotelgruppe, die Sie wählen können, alle sind komplett, sehr aufmerksam! Es gibt auch viele Aktivitäten jeden Abend, Musik-Aufführungen, verschiedene Partys! Die ganze Zeit ist angeordnet! Die Küste ist auch sehr lang, es gibt auch Innensee, die Landschaft ist sehr gut! Sehr gut für Familienurlaub!

Pros: very clean, staff are helpful and polite. The beach is beautiful white sand with turquoise water and palm trees for shade.  There are a lot of chairs around the pools and on the beach. The room was comfy, good beds and pillows. Great shower and bathtub.   The property is well kept. The are many activities, games and events organized.  CONS:  The food is average, generic and limited for vegetarians.  The restaurant menues are not a la carte. It’s a fixed menu.  The cocktail are way too sweet , except for David, it was impossible to get a good drink. The wine is dry but no choice not even to purchased. If you like an American diet with everything sweet and you want to hand by the pool and bar, you will be happy. If you want to rest on the beach, without having vendors bug you every 5 minutes plus  having to breathe cigarette smokes which is allowed all over the beach.   If you like decent food and enjoy a good cocktail and wine.  This place is not for you.

Großer Aufenthalt bei Riu Playacar Wir genossen unsere Aufenthalte in diesem sauberen, gut organisierten Resort mit geräumigen, ruhigen Zimmern (unser hatte keinen Balkon, aber es war toll). Die Minibar war ein schöner Kontakt, und das Badezimmer war ohne Spott. Höchstwerte: ✔ Lebensmittelsorte – Mehrfache à-la-carte Restaurants (Nicht nötig für Abendessenreservierungen) und Buffets mit guten Mittagessen/Frühstücksoptionen. ✔Strand – Viel Sonnenbäder, aber keine Umberalla, so bringen Sie Ihren Sonnenschirm, obwohl Pools besetzt werden les Sonnenbäder. ✔ Zugriff auf Schwesterhotels – Party-Liebhaber können in der Nähe des Riu Tequila Clubs besuchen. ✔ Bequeme Lage – Mini-Markt über die Straße, und Playa del Carmen (5th Ave) ist nur ein 150-peso Taxi fahren entfernt. ✔ Easy airport transfer – ADO bus (250 pesos/person, 45-min Fahrt + 5-min taxi 150 pesos next to ado tourism station). Kleine Nachteile: ✖ Keine Aufzüge – Hart für Gäste mit Mobilitätsproblemen. ✖ Unterhaltungs-Hiccups – Der Gastgeber hat manchmal vergessen, nach spanischen Ankündigungen zurück ins Englische zu wechseln. Perfekt für: Reisende, die gute Werte, Vielfalt und Nähe zum Nachtleben von Playa wollen.

Here’s a polished review you can use for the Wyndham Hotel Playa del Carmen: ⸻ Wyndham Hotel Playa del Carmen – Honest Review We had a very enjoyable stay at Wyndham Playa del Carmen overall! The customer service was truly amazing — we were even upgraded to a beautiful suite with an oceanfront view, which made a huge difference. The buffet was great with lots of options, and the staff throughout the hotel was consistently friendly and welcoming. However, a few things to note: there are very pushy salespeople around the property who are constantly trying to upsell timeshares and spa packages. It’s understandable, but it did get a little tiring at times. The hotel is directly on the beach, but the beachfront isn’t ideal for swimming since it’s very rocky and shallow. You need to walk about five minutes down to find a spot where you can comfortably swim. The overall vibe of the hotel is a bit outdated and cheesy — definitely a mixed crowd of younger people looking to party and older guests, giving it a bit of a “cruise ship” atmosphere. My husband and I had never done an all-inclusive before, and although we got an amazing deal, it’s probably not something we would repeat at this property. As for dining: • The buffet was solid — lots of choices, decent quality — I’d rate it a 7/10. • The two à la carte restaurants (that required reservations) were subpar, so we honestly preferred the buffet experience. • The sushi swim-up bar was a bit of a letdown; the sushi wasn’t great (but understandable given the location). Our only real disappointment was the hot tub — it was very tiny, difficult to find, far away from everything, and when we finally reached it on our last night, it was lukewarm and not fully functioning. Final thoughts: If you’re looking for a budget-friendly all-inclusive with great staff, decent food, and a nice view — this is a good choice. Just know it’s not super luxurious, and swimming directly in front of the hotel isn’t ideal. It’s located right in the heart of Playa where there are lots of partying going on, if you want that sort of scene. We’re glad we tried it, but we’ll probably explore other options and quieter locations next time.

Das Hotel liegt am Rande der Fifth Avenue und die Umgebung ist gut. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass die Straßenbar zu laut ist und der Klang der Musikbar um drei oder vier Uhr morgens immer noch laut ist.

Pros - das Personal ist alles wunderbar. Das Resort wurde kürzlich renoviert, so dass es in relativ guter Zustand ist.  Cons - das Essen ist nicht groß... Ich würde es mittelmäßige Vergnügen für die Armen nennen. Die Restaurants a la carte waren auch nicht groß und ich würde den Buchungssystem/verrückte rote Band Prozess nennen, um die Restaurants a la carte zu besuchen, aus dem Verlegen, Vergnügen auf verrückt.  Ich werde wahrscheinlich nicht zurück sein aus den oben genannten Gründen, aber ich muss nochmals darauf hinweisen, dass alle Mitarbeiter der Service wirklich wunderschön waren und keine Frage die Höhepunkt der Reise.

Immobilien wurden 2017 entwickelt - aber ähnlich wie andere Gebäude in Mexiko wurden sie schnell und mit schlechten Materialien entwickelt. Die Benutzung und das Schleim auf dem Eigentum und Mangel an Wartung ist bemerkbar. Was die Bleisituation betrifft, kam der Abwasserstein jeden Abend aus dem Badezimmer. Als die Nachbarn duschen, konnte man das Wassersystem sehr laut hören. Insgesamt war es mehr als ein 3.5- 4-Sterne-Hotel - definitiv nicht 5.

Firstly El Beso is simply 1 building within the larger Ocean Rivera resort. Meaning only your building is Adults Only. Our Swim up room was lovely. We tried almost all if not all of the 10 restaurants and we had no complaints the food was good. Maybe not always amazing but never terrible. There’s like 3/4 different brands or levels of service within the larger resort. El Beso seems to be 1 level from the top which is Privilege we switched for an extra night & the mini bar for privilege was much better as well as having the butler service and priority restaurant bookings when they were all booked. There’s also a special restaurant only for privilege that was great but none of the restaurants were extremely crowded. There’s an app or webpage that works like an app with all of the resort info and you can book reservations there. There’s also lots of entertainment nightly. It’s definitely a place to go and stay there’s no need to venture outside of the resort there’s so many things to do schedules are packed for all of the different areas & a bowling alley and theater. There is not much near by the tourist area is maybe 20 mins away by car down the beach.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit vielen Pools und Grotten, aber leider etwas unübersichtlich und kein direkter Strand Zugang. Sehr gut geeignet für Familien erst recht wegen dem Zugang zu den umliegenden Parks.
