SSS72I found this property Ujo have good reviews on Trip.con and wanted to give it a try. I preferred apartment style stays cos the convenience of having a kitchen allows flexibility for diet-restricted people. The place looked modern and clean. Pretty spacious and functional. Has a balcony with a (not so grande, lol) view of the neighborhood. It was so hot outside even in November, like a sauna, so we didn’t spend anytime on the balcony and kept windows and doors shut to prevent heat and bugs. The AC and two ceiling fans in our room helped greatly for temperature control, making our stay comfortable. Note: the AC only works when you use the key card in the room — inserting it in the power slot and then AC can be turned on. Without a note about it, I thought the AC was not working. But glad the lady there helped to call and figure it out. Simple as that. The bathroom is interesting. It’s mostly good, got a ceiling shower and worked well. They provided organic wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The only part that didn’t make too much sense is the short half wall that is functioning as a divider between the shower part and the dry part of the bathroom. Water would easily splash out — it felt like it was designed for shorter users and didn’t account for a lot of tourists that are tall. Perhaps add a good old shower curtain? Mostly for the property’s own benefit of not getting the floor wet where it shouldn’t be. I sent a request when I booked the room for the hosts to spray bug sprays in the room prior to my arrival. They quickly acknowledged that after my booking and did that before I checked in. Much appreciation. When we checked out, we left our luggage to the host for a few hours. They are very helpful to put them away.  Also this place has bike rentals on site for a good price compared to what we saw outside of the property.  Finally, let’s talk about the overall area. We chose it also because it’s close location to ADO bus station as we came from Cancun via bus. We don’t have any interest in the crazy taxi prices and want to walk as much as we can. So this walkable property (less than 10minutes from Tulum ADO bus station) worked. I also chose it because it’s not on the Main Street where I looked at a lot of properties and found noise complaints. I cannot handle noise past 10pm. I need my rest. So overall, Ujo was quiet in itself, no really close-by clubs, no rooftop parties, and other visitors seemed respectful and not loud after 10pm. BUT, here is the reality, this is a town with many stray animals. And they sleep during the heated day time, and get active at night. So there were barking and meowing for sure that can pierce thru. As well as some traffic sound and remote club noises. Don’t expect 100% tranquility. I am fairly picky about noise but I would say given the town’s reality, this is a very decent spot. I was able to sleep thru the nights without much issue.  Overall the stay met the score it had on Trip.com (9.6/10) when I was booking. If I visit Tulum again, or if someone asked for a recommendation, I would stay/recommend this place.

LLaura!Excelente glamping enmedio de la naturaleza, limpio, ordenado y para disfrutar de una tranquilidad absoluta. Mala suerte, las obras del tren que dificultan el contacto con el entorno. Cenotes propios en el hotel abiertos 24hrs y hay mucha fauna... Una familia de monos, nos acompañó durante horas en el recinto del hotel. El restaurante está muy bien, cenamos y desayunamos allí, todo perfecto.

SShayna0The hotel is beautiful, very jungle like feeling, peaceful and quiet. Love the little cenote. Would be nice if there was a variety of food. Only 1 restaurant, small menu, and it opens 8am so you can't get coffee/tea. The rooms dont have anything to make tea/coffee, So you'd need to head out, there's a nice French bakery 5mins walk away. The location is a little remote but with a,scooter or atv you can get to the beach or town in 15-20mins.

GGeorge CyprusSehr schönes kleines Hotel am Anfang der Strandstraße. Kann ein Taxi vom Zentrum nehmen, um dort für ca. 300mxn zu erreichen. Wenn Sie nicht verstanden, dann ist es einfach nur zu Fuß entlang der Tulum Strandstraße zu erreichen jedes Restaurant oder Strandclub. Das Zimmer war sehr schön mit einer Außendusche und einem Bad, obwohl der Holzboden mit Nageln war rustig, was so gefährlich war, dass es zu beheben ist. Die Rezeption war sehr hilfreich und gab uns sogar Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Veranstaltungen für die Nacht. Sie haben ihren eigenen Strandzugang und Lounges so sehr bequem wie das Recht am Strand. Frühstück wurde angekündigt und es ist ein leichter Joghurt mit wenig Granola und Früchten mit Filterkaffee und Saft und zwei Stück Toast für zwei Personen. Das Frühstück hat Platz für Verbesserungen in meiner Meinung. Gesamt gute Erfahrung für den Preis. Keine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer, obwohl es in den Auflistungsbildern angezeigt wird, sind in der Regel Hotels kostenlos. Es gab einen Campingplatz direkt neben dem Hotel, der seltsam erscheint, nicht sicher, was das war, da es auch Zugang zum Hotel durch die Treppen mit dem Hotel hatte.

GGastnutzer방은 사진과 똑같고, 화장실 수전이나 샤워수전은 청결도에 약간 떨어질 수도 있습니다. 예민한 분들이라면 별로라 생각할 수도 있습니다. 방은 매우 넓고, 침대도 넓습니다. 깨끗한 에어컨과 최신식 스마트 티비가 있습니다. 2박동안 샴푸 2개, 비누 2개가 제공되며, 타올과 옥상의 수영장을 위한 비치타올이 함께 제공되었습니다. 루이스는 매우 친절한 호스트였고, 호텔에 엘레베이터가 없어서 짐 옮기는 것을 도와줬습니다. 호텔 위치는 큰길가에 위치했으며, 1분도 안되는 거리에 oxxo와 길거리 타코가게들이 있습니다. 그리고 맛있는 식당들과 카페가 주변에 즐비해있고, super Aki도 걸어서 다녀올 수 있습니다. 옥상에서는 주변에 높은 건물이 없어서 멋진 일출과 일몰을 볼 수 있고, 1층 문은 철제문으로 잠겨져있어 외부인의 출입이 통제되어 안전함을 느꼈습니다. 그리고 귀여운 멍멍이들이 항상 반겨줍니다. 다음에 툴룸에 또 온다면 또 묵고 싶은 가성비 숙소입니다.

AAidil BuyongA charming resort right by the beach. My room has the most amazing sunrise view. But do take note, it’s an eco-friendly resort, so there’s no phone, TV or minibar. Every request is done through WhatsApp. Its own restaurant has quite the menu to sate your appetite, though there are tons of eateries outside on the main street. The best place to relax and switch off from the world.

Our room, 2 Queen Beds Room, was next to the kitchen, which was operating all day to serve the beach, pool and restaurant area. Loud service staff and food smell accompanied us all day long. Towels were worn by use and full of brown spots. Breakfast was included but you only could have one thing, either an omelette or a pancake.

KK-AnnBeautifully designed boutique hotel. Had a lovely large and clean room. Swimming pool is gorgeous but could use a few scoops to remove the fallen leaves. Staff shined bright by their absence, breakfast at 8.00 didn't happen but much later... Beach club offer is not really free, and needs a self paid taxi service. I ended up going to the beach on own regards. The seaweed was huge, so all this together made me relocate to other places. Non refundable hotel so be aware!
