Wir hatten einen zwei Nächte, Wochenende hier während der Besuche Freunde in Gerrards Cross. Eine recht späte Ankunft nach einer langen Fahrt nach Edinburgh, die Eincheckung war schnell und freundlich. Das Hotel ist viel größer als wir erwartet, aber gut ausgelegt. Es gibt nur drei Stockwerke, so dass die Aufzüge schnell. Unser zweites Stockzimmer war sehr sauber und ziemlich geräumig, mit einem komfortablen super-king-größenbett. Andere schöne Funktionen - ein kleines Kühlschrank und eine sichere groß genug, um einen Laptop zu nehmen. Das Badezimmer war spotless mit schönem komplimentären Shampoo und Dusche Gel. Die einzige Widerstandskraft für unser Zimmer war, dass es keine Klimaanlage gab und es unbehaglich heiß wurde, mit den Fenstern nur teilweise geöffnet, wie in den Hotels üblich. Helfend war es ein elektrischer Fan, der einige Erleichterung geliefert. Wir haben unten auf der Bar (sie haben mehr als eine) gepoppt, und das Barpersonal war freundlich und professionell. Frühstück war sehr gut, mit einem umfangreichen Buffet von warmen und kalten Artikeln. Die Dienstleistungen waren schnell und effizient, die jungen Mitarbeiter waren professionell und gut zusammengearbeitet. Wir können nicht zu den Abendessen kommentieren, wenn wir im Haus unserer Freunde essen. Außerhalb hat der Bull einen ganz großen Garten voller Interesse, mit einigen schönen Topiar und Tische ausgestellt. Wir hatten eine angenehme Wanderrunde. Das Hotel selbst sah gut aufrecht, und jemand mit guter Geschmack hat eine schöne Auswahl an Bildern überall im Hotel und entlang der Korridore ausgewählt. Insgesamt hatten wir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in einer angenehmen Umgebung, und ich würde den Bull definitiv empfehlen.

Cannot recommend Stoke Place enough after our wedding there at the end of April. Tracey was so helpful throughout the planning stages, answering all our questions and explaining how the day would work. The day itself was faultless, and many of our guests commented on how seamless it was! Patrick was brilliant as toastmaster and Didier fantastic running the wedding breakfast and the bar. All the staff made us feel special, they were friendly and helpful and checked in on how we were doing throughout the day. The food was brilliant too, thanks so much to everyone at Stoke Place for giving us the best wedding day we could have hoped for :)

What an excellent venue for a meeting! My experience at the Cliveden House was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. My reception was well managed, from check-in through my suitcase being delivered ahead of me to the room. My room was large, comfortable and well appointed. The tablet in the room available to review the information on the resort's amenities and grounds was appreciated, as I was also able to read a number of periodicals offered. The meeting facilities were excellent, providing strong WIFI connectivity, as well as beverages and snacks. The young man on staff that managed our meeting, and was also a server at our private dinner Wednesday night, was very attentive and did an extraordinary job. I apologize that I can't recall his name, but he is an asset to the staff at Cliveden House. Finally, I found the food to be delicious and well presented. One of my colleagues was displeased with a white wine selection being served, and the staff quickly addressed the situation by replacing it. Yet another great example of the Cliveden House staff moving quickly to ensure our experience there was good. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at Cliveden House, and I would recommend it to anyone planning a meeting, looking for a relaxing getaway or hosting a special event.
