This is a low priced hotel but I can't say it's bad. Rooms are big and comfortable, the view from the room we had felle on the Rideau canal and it's park so it wasn't bad. Bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. Free breakfast is included, basic but a bit of everything. In need of some TLC but it seems they're starting it. My only concern, or rather disappointment is the staff. When we checked in on December 2nd the manager was very polite and professionnal. We even exchanged with her and she was quite pleasant. However from that moment on until our departure she was not there to supervise the desk personnel. Seeing us getting close to the desk, they would bend their head and pretend to do something. No Hello, Good morning or Have a nice day. Until our departure this morning December 4th, 3 young ladies and one male desk clerck never even looked at us. Arriving home, I checked my VISA card to fina a $ 100.00 charge on my card. I'm giving it a day or so to see if it was not a deposit in case of damages. It better not be there by Tuesday.

Das Hotel war ziemlich ruhig, außer es gibt Zuge, die in der Nähe passieren. Wir prüften um 9:30 Uhr, es gab ein Telefon auf dem Frontdesk, das sagte Ruf zero und dann kommt jemand aus den Wohnvierteln, um Sie zu prüfen. Die Blätter auf meinem Bett waren nass mit Wasser und nichts anderes auf dem Bett war nass, was ich merkwürdig fand. Wir konnten keine neuen Blätter erhalten, da der Desk geschlossen war, da es um 11 Uhr war und das ist ein Familienstand und sie schliefen. Aber der schwulste Teil, den ich für unhöflich erkannte, war am nächsten Tag, als ich auscheckte, habe ich es mit dem Telefon auf dem Vordertisch getan. Die Leute, die den Ort besaßen, konnten sich nicht stören, zu dem Büro zu kommen und mich auschecken.
