The middle aged lady on reception is very rude. We arrived to be greeted at the gate by the welcome. I haven't got any pitches. I explained we had booked in advance and paid a deposit, to which she tutted and rolled her eyes! She then shouted park over there. We duly did and went into reception. The conversation went like this - name, look for a pitch we are busy with groups arriving. At which point she scribbled on a map and turned her back. She was just as rude when we went to pay. There are only two benefits to the site. 1. Evora is a short walk away. 2. The pool is clean. However, it is the only thing that is. The pitches are like scrub land and many have tree stumps in them. The showers are old and filthy. Dogs bark all night, and the road adjoining the site is constantly noisy.

Noisy cramped camping, it’s by a main road that’s very busy,swimming pool is an extra3.5euro each so quite pricey for a family, also the rudest man serving in the restaurant absolutely horrible person, almost threw my food at me because I wanted another toastie, don’t go it will ruin your holiday.

Staff were very nice. Rooms were simple but effective. Heating was working (some reviews dud not understand that there was a switch on the side as well as he temp control.) hot water also good. Fridge, basic cooking equipment plates etc. Bring a corkscrew and a small coffee percolator if you need them. Towels and bed sheets with a duvet all clean etc.

Bangalô lindo e muito bem limpo e organizado. Só sentimos frio à noite por estar frio a cidade e não ter muitos edredons para aquecer
