The San Ignacio Resort Hotel is well situated. It is a short walk to town where you can try authentic Belizean food or visit the open air market. The hotel itself served breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has a full bar, which is open until 10 PM, serving very nice drinks. Our accommodations were very comfortable. The air conditioning in our room, kept us cool even during a heat wave. All the employees are immensely, helpful, and friendly. The concierge desk was very helpful in arranging excursions or finding a taxi for various purposes. I look forward to going back.

Beautiful jungle backdrop with walking trails! You can take walks in the morning or night with headlamps. We saw several tropical birds & Iguanas! The pool with jungle views was a daily refresher. Excellent service, bar & restaurant onsite. It’s beautiful!

I always enjoy staying there, the hospitality of the staff is great! Food is great as well. Rooms are always clean and they are comfortable but again I think is the people what make it different and my first option when I visit Belize every time.

My husband and I stayed at the San Ignacio Hotel Resort for 3 days before we went to explore Placencia. This hotel was hands down the coolest resort I’ve ever been to!! Everyone was so welcoming since the second we walked in. The food was beyond amazing, definitely recommend the shrimp ceviche, cilantro fish, and of course margaritas! From breakfast to lunch to dinner everything was beautifully cooked and I never wanted a meal to end!! We also did a trip to the Xunantunich ruins and Cave Tubing with our tour guide Goldborn!! Goldborn taught us so much as he was extremely knowledgeable and you could tell he was passionate about what he does every day. I really felt like this was the first vacation that we took that I really got immersed into the culture and learned so much! Really cool and interesting to learn about how the Mayans lived. And the caves… we have never seen such a beautiful thing!!! I wish we could do more tours with Goldborn! I guess we have to come back!!!

Rooms were so comfortable and felt welcoming soft and relaxed. First time going there and i felt like it was my own bed and room everythimg so comfortable. Space just adecuate for us. My babies enjoy the pool everything was exceptional, to being my first expirience i can say it went beyong my expectations.

This is a beautiful hotel that offers every amenity we wanted and a fabulous restaurant experience! The steaks were better than any chops house we’ve experienced in the U.S.! We ate there 4 times and each meal was special. Exceptional service and exceptional experience!

Such a warm amazing staff. The hotel was beautiful and clean had everything you need to make a great experience. The restaurant was very delicious. The service is exceptional. The pool is perfect after a long day of excursions. Hospitality was for sure a 10 out of 10 a lovely experience for boutique hotel!! Also not to mention their awesome trusted driver Ramiro!! I suggest spending the extra cash to have him pick you up at the airport totally worth it. He is very knowledgeable and loves to share the amazing things about his country with his passengers.
