Gaia Riverlodge
Cassia Hill Resort
"Amazing location and room, but couldn’t really get service from the person at the front desk nor the one security guy on site who also functioned as the repair guy. We didn’t have lights to our shower area, side table, or front porch, and it was pitch black, but lighting couldn’t be remedied. It’s too bad we didn’t have more time to enjoy the location in the daylight."
Falling Leaves Lodge
"This place is really beautiful. The operation is smooth, professional and friendly. The food is delicious, the drinks are good and the view is amazing from the pool to the restaurant deck. The rooms are clean and comfortable. My wife and I had a very nice stay, it would be good for small groups and friends too!"
Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge
Table Rock Lodge
"We stayed at Table Rock for only 2 nights (should have been 3 but weather chaos changed our plans!) in Feb. but we loved it and wished we could have stayed longer. Everything about this place is the best: it's small and intimate so you get to know the employees and they know who you are, the cabins are well spaced apart for privacy and relaxation, the food and cocktails were phenomenal, and the lush jungle setting was just lovely. Also, every service from picking us up at the airport to arranging tours was absolutely seamless. I want to come back and spend more time here when I can."
San Ignacio Resort Hotel
The Lodge at ChaaCreek
"We stayed at the Chel Villa, incredible experience for our family. We saw so much wildlife, howler monkeys, iguanas, toucans from our patio with private pool. Large spaces, stunning views. Our personal butler Nelson made the stay one we will remember for our life. This experience is Four Seasons level luxury in the middle of the jungle. We did activities through the resort and those were amazing as well. Mayan pyramid, open hearth cooking, butterfly farm. An amazing place for family or for a relaxing getaway. The food was incredible including a private meal under the stars. Best luxury experience we have stayed at in the world."
The Log Cab-Inn
"I can speak English. It was very comfortable with a beautiful camping image."
The Cabins at Monkey Fall
"The comfiest accommodations, most delicious food and most lovely host! We stayed here in October, 2025 for a few nights and wish we had booked our entire trip here. The grounds are absolutely stunning and everyone working at the cabins are incredibly kind and helpful. We loved Belize, and will absolutely be coming back to the cabins in the future."

Las Haciendas
"We spent 6 nights at Las Haciendas and highly recommend it as a place to base yourself in San Ignacio. The room (1 bedroom Villa) was spacious and clean. The kitchen nook perect for our cooking needs. The bathroom extremely spacious with a huge walki-in shower. And the plunge pool made for relaxing afternoons/evenings after hot tours in the area. The location is on the outskirts of San Ignacio but within walking distance of a couple supermarkets and restaurants, as well as, the Mayan archeological site Cahal Pech. We also walked into town for dinner a couple times (30 minutes). Leda, the manager, was absolutely fantastic with prior communications and organizing our tours. Literally the best we’ve ever dealt with. Abi, the on-site maintenance manager was also great responding to a couple small issues we had - gecko in the outside air con unit made contact on the control board and shorted outh the system but he rectified that immediately. One hint regarding the AC…the indoor unit blows toward the bed which we didn’t like so we hung a blanket over the bed canopy structure bars to block the AC from hitting us directly. Also, if you set it on DRY mode at night, the fan speed slows down and we slept great. Highly highly recommend staying at Las Haciendas. Quality-price ratio versus many of the resorts we checked online was why we chose to stay here and it really paid off. Thanks to all the staff!"
La Casita at Midas Belize
Venus Hotel
"Ein einfaches Zimmer, aber sauber. Bei der Eincheckung hatte ich glücklicherweise das Zimmer zuvor. freundliches Personal. Wifi ist schlecht."
Rolson Hotel
"Went with a tour. Good food in restaurant, private & clean outdoor pool, convenient location, and helpful staff with arranging taxi as well as sightseeing activities."
Mariposa Jungle Lodge
"We love Mariposa. We first visited in March 2020, which was a couples trip, and returned in March 2025 with our teenage nephew. Now I'm trying to get friends to go! If you want to travel to Belize, book with Mariposa and your vacation will come together seamlessly, from airport pick-up to day trip adventures, to meals that please everyone in your group. One aspect that we really loved about the 2025 trip was seeing how many staff members from 2020 were still working with Mariposa five years later (looking at you Gladimir and Robi). However the most special staffer for us is definitely Norma, the chef. We originally chose Mariposa in 2020 because of the plant-based menu and we took Norma's cooking class. We happily returned five years later after making sure she was still in the kitchen because we vegans knew how well we'd dine in the jungle. We got to tour the new on-site garden and are excited to see in a future trip what they do with the fresh from garden to table options. Even if you want a trip that preserves the jungle rather than destroying it with meat production, stay at Mariposa and let Norma take care of you with the plant-based menu."
Crystal Paradise Resort
"Crystal Paradise is an amazing resort run by the Tut Family in San Ignacio in Belize. The whole family is so kind and caring and welcoming! There are so many beautiful birds that live in the surrounding jungle and all over the grounds, making this an absolute paradise for bird watchers. The home-cooked meals served family style are are always fresh and delicious and the rooms are always comfortable and clean. I’ve gone there many times and will always go back whenever I’m in Belize! Shout out to our trip driver and Xunantunich guide, Everald! He is knowledgeable, hard-working, and a lot of fun. We love Everald and we love Crystal Paradise and the Tut Family!"
Cahal Pech Village Resort
"Beautiful resort at the top of the hill close to the ruins. Beautiful pool and cabanas. Food is great especially the cheesecake!"
The West House Boutique Hotel
Arnold's Guest House
Pine Ridge Lodge
"We recently visited Belize and decided to venture into the tropical forests and stay at the Pine Ridge Lodge and had an amazing trip which words could never adequately describe but we will try. This is a must place stay to fully experience Belize. The cottages, grounds, dining area, food, staff, fun little animals all made this one of the most amazing trips we have ever had. There are waterfalls, hikes, caves, ruins, and open air markets all very close to the lodge which truly made us feel we were fully immersed in Belize. Neil and his staff were overly accommodating and we loved our trip visiting them."
D's Inn
"Great place close to the center. Easy 5 min walk to the market or the bus station The AC was great and the room was clean. Staff was really friendly and helped us to get a cheap taxi to the border Only downside is the barthroom. The wall doesnt go all the way to the ceiling and you can hear anything from the bed, but we can live with that. Recommended for sure."
