Lots of the reviews here, I believe, are reviewing Mercure on Hay (the newer, more upmarket hotel and possibly better of the two although I haven’t seen it), whereas lots of reviews in Mercure Perth on Hay are referring to Mercure on Irwin. I’ve compared the photos and the hotel details and official photos are definitely that way round. SO… this one, Mercure Perth (which is on Irwin St) is the bad one. It’s awful. It’s tired, badly fitted out, dingy and I hope never to stay here again. My room was down a corridor of *****ed (and stained) carpet that made me feel nauseous to look at. The room was ok, the bed comfortable, but more stained carpet, and lots of things didn’t work. Several light bulbs were broken, lots of curtain hooks missing, the room safe didn’t work, the bath had a rusty patch in it. The aircon was too cold for me and I followed the instructions to turn up the temperature but it didn’t warm up. Two phone calls and three hours later, someone attended my room, told me the air con wasn’t adjustable as it’s one temperature for the whole building so the instructions were incorrect. He turned it off (supposedly) and I then spent my stay with no aircon although the room was still cold and not stuffy and the control panel didn’t say ‘off’ so I think the whole thing was just BS and they couldn’t be bothered to deal with it or give me another room. Staff care factor of the attendant was zero, and of the front desk staff, close to zero. I got woken up in the early hours of the morning several times by skip bins being moved around in the laneway outside (very loud chains being dropped in the skip bins and noise reverberation). The next night the fridge started making such a loud noise in the middle of the night that I had to turn it off and use the spare towels to absorb the water as it defrosted. I’m just curious why Mercure keep this one running. Perhaps it’s set at a different price range but it’s not doing their brand any favours with two Mercure hotels so close together, especially with all the reviews mixed up.

Special occasion for our wedding anniversary and well looked after by the Hilton Parmelia staff, and it’s always nice to see long time staff and the meet new. While diamond HH, we were upgraded to a beautiful Kings parlor room for the weekend, had an amazing breakfast in our room, and we always find the executive lounge enjoyable as a relaxing place to go and the food offered is often varied. We enjoy the Samuels restaurant and bar food menu, but I do miss the Caesar salad from the pre covid days. It used to be the best. We have stayed at other Perth hotels, including the DT but the Parmelia still comes out tops for us. Thank you for making the weekend so special.

Booked last minute due to my cancellation of flight. They have renovation during my stay so a little bit uncomfortable. Breakfast not included, pay extra for it. I had issue when check in, take quite long to solve, wait for almost 1 hour. The location at the heart of CBD, walked around at night to see Christmas light. Amenities standard, no laundry service at the moment due to renovation, asked receptionist and she direct me to laundry service nearby.

Das Sebel West Perth bot während meiner letzten Reise eine preisgünstige Unterkunftsmöglichkeit, die es mir ermöglichte, mitten im Herzen der Stadt zu übernachten, ohne mein Budget zu sprengen. Das Personal im Sebel West Perth war freundlich und effizient. Die Lobby und die öffentlichen Bereiche des Hotels waren zwar nicht übermäßig luxuriös, aber ordentlich und gepflegt. Der Check-in verlief schnell und das Personal stand für alle Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer waren zwar einfach, aber sauber und hatten alles Nötige für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt. Die Einrichtung war zwar nicht die modernste, erfüllte aber ihren Zweck. Das Bett war bequem genug, um nach einem Tag voller Stadterkundungen gut schlafen zu können. Die Lage des Hotels war zweifellos das stärkste Verkaufsargument. Dank der Lage direkt im Stadtzentrum sind beliebte Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel leicht zu erreichen. Dieser Komfort ermöglichte es mir, meine Zeit in der Stadt optimal zu nutzen, ohne viel für den Transport auszugeben.

Good value for its price level. Basic room, clean enough despite being rather dated (still using the traditional key with that big plastic attachment). Check-in staff, breakfast & location also good. A few stops on the free Red CAT from Perth Stn to the block behind. A block away is the wonderful vast expanse of Langley Park with the Swan River at the side.

Wir gingen gerade zum Bett und sahen das Zimmer am Morgen. Sicherlich brauchte er dekorieren, das Bett scheint etwas nach unten gehen Kopf, da wir fühlten unsere Füße höher als unsere Kopf, die Kissen waren flach, wir hatten eine Blätter dann eine Duvet, die bessere Tage gesehen wurde und brauchte eine neue und dann eine oberen Blätter. Das Badezimmer war grundlegend, hatte eine Dusche, obwohl es einige seltsame Nasen gemacht und die Temperatur war hoch und runter, keine Schlauch im Handbecken, es gab Toiletten, die wir nie verwendet. Das Frühstück war sehr grundlegende, nur einige kalte Fleisch, kalte kochte Eier, Salat und Toast. Wenn Sie kochen wollten, mussten Sie mit Croissants, Schmerz au raisin usw. bezahlen. Rezeption Mitarbeiter während des Tages waren angenehmen und sehr hilfreich, hatte immer ein Lächeln. Wach auf einen schönen Hafenblick , frische Luft , direkt gegenüber dem Fährbahnhof , wo Sie nur auf dem Fähre zu überqueren gegen CBD , Zentrum , Chiantown usw. in nur 10 Minuten Fahrt ! Hotel ist sauber, neu, voll ausgestattet mit Küchenzeile, Parkplatz ist verfügbar, auch gibt es eine kostenlose Waschmaschine und Trockner auf Ebene 2 und BBq-Pit, die war wunderbar

I have stayed at the hotel over the past 15 years and it has gradually become a little run down here and there but the worst change is the service, nobody has a smile or greets you as a guest, your just another inconvenience for them. I stayed in a ”Deluxe” King room last week and the Bathroom was dirty and the Shower over Bath is a disgrace (see photo). I don't think I'll be staying again until some marked improvements have been made.

Pinsel: Das Wasser ist zu klein, um das Gesicht auf der Oberseite des Drachens zu waschen; der Korridor ist offen gestaltet, es gibt einen besonders großen Wind in der Nacht, die ganze Nacht schläft die Tür schwer; es gibt nicht viele Auswahlen für Frühstück und die Lebensmittelqualität muss verbessert werden.
