I had a pleasant two-night stay at The Colony. Waking up each morning to the sound of nature and a beautiful balcony was nothing short of a dream. The staff was incredibly remarkable! My flight was at 6pm and I was meant to check out by 10am. However, it was stormy outside and a very thoughtful staff member named Melanie reached out to me and allowed me to extend my checkout time. I am returning to Perth in November and I will look nowhere else but to stay at The Colony again!

AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE BIG4 … LOOK ELSEWHERE Recently, my wife and I stayed at Big4 Perth Midland Tourist Park. This without doubt would have to be the worst Big4 caravan park that I have ever stayed at, and I have stayed at a few being a Big4 Member. In fact, I would go as far as to say that it is an absolute disgrace to the name of Big4 who would do well to distance themselves from this park. Many of the permanent’s sites, of which there are many, are nothing short of hovels which should be condemned; the ablutions whilst old, really need some proper cleaning and not just a lick and a promise. Hand soap in the ablutions was hit and miss, and garbage bins were continually overflowing and reeked of rotten food (prawns heads, crab shells etc) in the heat. The bins need to be either replaced more often as they become full or moved to a more central area away from sites, and if the permanents must walk a short way to put their rubbish in the bin, then so be it … having them parked outside their vans bringing flies and vermin is unacceptable especially in the heat of summer. Our site had a gutter that was so high that it caught our grey water outlet as we backed in twisting it 90 degrees, but thankfully not breaking the outlet. When we leave, again we expect the high gutter will catch the outlet again and hopefully not break it. Despite the check-in documents saying there is to be no washing of cars and caravans, several times we saw both permanents and campers doing just that … washing their cars etc … no intervention by staff was ever observed telling people to stop this practice. We needed consistent WI-FI as we were selling our house and needed contact both with sales agency and solicitors to facilitate the sale … but the Internet was “spotty and intermittent” every single day of our stay, even in the early hours of the morning when fewer people would be using it. Numerous times a day, I had to reboot my laptop which was extremely disappointing and frustrating when the booster was less than 10 metres from where our caravan was situated. Whilst the staff were fabulous, and accommodating, and the rates competitive, it did not make this stay worth coming back … we will never stay here again. For those looking at staying here, look elsewhere … it is a disgrace!

We got a unit that says no window and since there is no other places with decent price and this is the only one that looks decently priced we tried for 1 night and we were very surprised with the outcome. It's nice and even without a window it's by far one of the most cleanest and nicest hotel we have stayed so far. It's right beside the car park and tucked away at a corner but that didn't bother us. We love it actually. It's also on ground floor so we didn't had to climb stairs or wait for lift. The check in was seamless with automatic check in. Amenities is great. Distance was a bit far from station but it's a good exercise and walk!

Die junge Dame am Rezeption um 6 Uhr am Abend von April 10 war hervorragend !! Als sie erfuhr, dass mein Gepäck im Taxi war, mich vom Flughafen Perth nach diesem Hotel nehmen und der Taxi ging, half sie mir enorm. 1) Teilen Sie, was sie über die Ergebnisse früherer ähnlicher Fälle wusste; 2) Mir ihr eigenes Handy, so dass ich die Polizei rufen könnte; 3) Mehrfach mit meiner Kommunikation mit der lokalen Polizei helfen. tief geschätzt !! Um sechs Uhr am 10. April, die junge Dame am Hotelreception, Frau Super!! Als sie hörte, dass meine Gepäck in einem Taxi vergessen wurde und das Taxi bereits weg war, gab sie mir eine große Hilfe. 1) Teilen Sie das, was sie weiß, das Ergebnis der letzten Gepäckstücke, die in der Vergangenheit ähnlich waren; 2) nehmen Sie ihr Handy mir aus, damit ich die Polizei rufen kann; 3) helfen Sie mir aktiv mit der lokalen Polizei. Vielen Dank an diese Frau!

Stayed here for 3 nights, arriving after long flight from UK. No problem checking in, room in quiet location as requested. Some construction work going on at back of hotel, but nothing that disturbed me in the evening. Room was clean and had everything I needed for a short stay. Corridor and room carpets could do with replacing, but I guess that is a big expense after the last few years. Breakfast was more than adequate, with plenty of choice. The hot buffet was all fresh and frequently replenished. The young man in the restaurant (sorry I don't know your name), was very helpful and polite. Reception were helpful in booking a very early morning airport taxi for me, and on the morning of departure made certain that I safely got into my taxi. As a solo female traveller, it's the little details like that that mean so much. I would definitely return if i was visiting Perth again

Wir wollten eine Unterkunft in der Nähe der Arena und das war perfekt. Das Personal, Reinigung, Frühstück, einzugsfähiges Badezimmer, waren alle groß. Scham über das Komfortniveau des Betts und der Sofa. Das Bett rollte in die mittlere große Zeit und war sehr niedrig. Die Couch war extrem niedrig, so dass sie für eine Person besonders mit Behinderung unbrauchbar war. Sie hatten offensichtlich nicht über diesen Aspekt der Benutzerbarkeit nur das Badezimmer gedacht, um es zu einem zugänglichen Rating. Wir würden nochmal bleiben, aber nicht in diesem Zimmer und wir würden fragen, wie das Möbel bequem ist.

Die Mitarbeiter sind enthusiastisch und freundlich, das ist das günstigste wirtschaftliche Hotel in der zentralen Geschäftszone. Gehstrecke kann zu verschiedenen Restaurants erreicht werden. Der einzige negative Aspekt ist, dass das Hotel keine Parkplätze hat und nicht an der Straße parken kann. Obwohl die Sicherheit am Tag schwer gewährleistet ist und teuer ist.

Good value for its price level. Basic room, clean enough despite being rather dated (still using the traditional key with that big plastic attachment). Check-in staff, breakfast & location also good. A few stops on the free Red CAT from Perth Stn to the block behind. A block away is the wonderful vast expanse of Langley Park with the Swan River at the side.

Wir blieben hier zwei Nächte nach einem 17-Stunden-Flug von London Heathrow nach Perth, nachdem wir mehr als eine halbe Stunde für unsere Gepäck warten, haben wir ein Taxi in dieses Hotel und der Service war sehr gut. Wir nahmen ein und gingen in unser Zimmer, wo es Tee und Kaffee in dem Zimmer verfügbar war. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Betten waren komfortabel wie die Kuchen bis zum Standard des Holiday Inn rund um die Welt. Wir gingen nach Ivy und Jack, die am Hotel beigefügt ist. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber mehr wie Aktienplatten und gut für den gelegentlichen Getränk als ein Hauptmahl. Ich glaube, das ist, wo sie das Frühstück servieren, wenn Sie ein Frühstückspaket mit dem Hotel haben. Dieses Hotel ist im Herzen der Stadt so nahe zu allem, aber nicht viele Restaurants zu essen während des Abendessens. Die meisten Hotels scheinen nur zu Service-Fühlen oder zu späten Nachmittagssnacks.

Stark empfehlen Sie diese Unterkunft. Willkommen von hilfsbereitem Personal, das aus ihrem Weg geht, um Sie komfortabler zu machen. Nichts ist zu schwierig für sie. Sehr saubere Zimmer mit Schalenblättern. Perfekt gekocht und präsentiert Frühstück mit einer breiten Palette von Optionen.
