Stanze pulite, letto confortevole, colazione ok (al bar dietro l'angolo). Bagno piccolo, mancanza di ascensore, scale ripide e strette, prezzo un po' troppo alto per la qualità della struttura (130 euro al giorno).

Unser Hotelzimmer war im zweiten Stock mit Blick auf den Domplatz. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem typischen, gut gepflegten historischen Stadthaus. Die Einrichtung ist im Vintage-Style, sehr hübsch. Das Bett war bequem und gross. Einzig das Badezimmer war sehr klein und könnte eine Auffrischung gebrauchen. Das Frühstück gab es in richtig italienischer Art in der Bar nebenan. Der Empfang durch den Inhaber war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, er spricht perfekt deutsch. Wir haben sehr geschätzt, dass unser Auto in einem abgeschlossenen Hof/Garage Platz fand. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Danke.

Wir hatten zwei Zimmer, sie sind sehr individuell und liebevoll gestaltet, es hat an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut (Klimaanlage, Hausschuhe usw). Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und hat sich gut um uns gekümmert, es gab interessante Tips und sogar sehr unkompliziert die Möglichkeit, vergessene Kleidungsstücke nachsenden zu lassen. Absolut empfehlenswert bei einem Aufenthalt in Pavia!

BELLA STRUTTURA, ottima accoglienza e molto gentili . Le stanze molto caratteristiche e malgrado sia affacciato sulla piazza, non si è sentito rumore alcuno. Letti molto comodi, e posizione ottima. E' stata una bella esperienza e sicuramente, se si presentasse nuovamente l'occasione, ci ritorneremo.

Le Stanze di Cardinale is a wonderful place/location to stay while exploring Pavia and the surrounding area. It’s located right in the center of town on the city’s Duomo piazza. Restaurants, sites and the train station are within walking distance. In Pavia you are centrally located to easily take a train to Milan for a day trip or even stretch to Genoa. The only challenge may be parking a car, we use the trains and friends, so I’m not certain. I am sure Paolo could provide information, he is a gracious, welcoming and a helpful host. Our room was spacious, comfortable and always clean. My wife and I come time to time from America to visit friends who live in Pavia and wouldn't consider anywhere else to stay. This is an incredible value for the money. We highly recommend it.

Special place to stay. 14th Century rooms in a narrow little house with views over the rooftops of a quaint and quiet town. Pavia is worth a visit and if you are going to this town I can recommend this accommodation. The gentleman who received us when we arrived from the train was polite and excellent in making us feel welcome and informed. The rooms are old ( of course!) but fitted with all the creature comforts. Breakfast was served in a cafe next door using a coupon issued by the host.

An unique bed-and-breakfast in the heart of Pavia. The people in charge have knowledge of the best eating experiences in this area. Designer bedrooms overlooking the main Plaza. The owner took the car and parked it for us. We’re leaving the stress of parking. Listen to the recommendations as his knowledge is gold.

A fantastic boutique bed and breakfast with a view over the main plaza. Parking organized by the best host I have had in world traveling. His recommendations and local knowledge enabled us to have a Michelin restaurant experience and breakfast in a place that you would never find without inside knowledge. A host that loves Pavia and makes you love Pavia too. Looking forward to returning to this hidden gem.

Lovely little hotel right in the centre of Pavia. We had rooms overlooking the square and although it was busy late into the evening, the rooms were quiet. Very unusual building and rooms individual. It was a 14thC tower so stairs up to the rooms were a bit of a challenge for my 85yr old Dad but we loved our stay. Staff were really very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a few doors down at a cafe, staff again were all lovely. Fab place and lovely visit!
