Wir verbrachten als Paar aus Deutschland 3 Nächte in diesem legendären Hotel in Bestlage, alle Highlights fussläufig erreichbar. Empfangen wurden wir freundlich und zuvorkommend mit rotem Teppich, die Direttore Frau Gisella Catanzaro begrüßte uns herzlich auf Deutsch und sehr aufmerksam. Einige Meinungen im Netz, dass die „Fassade bröckele“ können wir nicht bestätigen, wir waren rundum begeistert vom schmuckigen Ambiente und dem barocken Stil des Hotels, auch von der Sauberkeit und der Instandhaltung. In der holzvertäfelten Bar servierte uns Paolo einen Negroni, den wir nie vergessen werden. Auch am Frühstücksbuffet wurde Pandemie- korrekt sehr auf Abstand geachtet und hinter Glas jedem Gast einzeln die Auswahl auf Teller verteilt und mit einem Wägelchen an den Tisch gebracht. Für uns ist das Hotel Wagner die 1. Wahl, sollten wir wieder nach Palermo kommen. Leckere Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, man kann in Fussdistanz den ganzen Stadtkern erkunden. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, bequeme Betten, schönes Bad und alles sehr sauber. Das Essen im Restaurant war ebenfalls sehr gut. Ebenso das Frühstücksbüffet, allerdings hätte ich mir noch etwas Fisch auf dem Buffet gewünscht.

This B&B is excellent. The building is from the 1800s but the interior has been updated into a comfortable modern place. They have gorgeous greenery on the patio. Best of both eras. The staff is attentive and treats you like family. The breakfast is amazing. They connected us with a local driver (Lavinia, she’s wonderful) who helped us get around for a few days, since public transportation is spotty and cabs can be problematic. I highly recommend this place.

This B&B is excellent. The building is from the 1800s but the interior has been updated into a comfortable modern place. They have gorgeous greenery on the patio. Best of both eras. 8 day stay at this hotel, which is a very nice building in a very quiet lane just off the main tourist area, very close to pretty much everything. Accept the fact this is not a 5 star hotel but a budget alternative and everything is good. Small but adequate rooms are clean and tidy with excellent maid service each day, sheets and towels changed regular. Breakfast was more than enough to get you going each day. Coffee, cakes, bread with toaster, croissants, meat tomato's, etc. you can ask for special coffees and gluten free food is available from the staff. We had an issue with the shower doors coming off the rails (hitting my wife in the head once), told staff on reception 3 times but nothing was done, so gave up asking and put towels on the floor to catch the water. obviously been in this condition a while and will be for a while longer. apart from that all was good

Der Standort ist genial. Mitten in Palermo und mitten im kulinarischen Teil von Palermo. Man ist überall schnell und an Essen mangelt es einem nicht. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und sehr sauber! Die Angestellten können zwar kein English, aber sie geben alles um sich mit Händen und Füssen zu verständigen, was doch zeigt, dass sie wollen, dass man zufrieden ist. Jeden Tag wurde das Zimmer geputzt und aufgeräumt. Die Betten waren um einiges bequemer, als man das von fremden Hotelbetten kennt. Die Preisklasse kommt wohl auf die Saison drauf an und was man sich gewohnt ist. Für uns Schweizer war es sehr günstig. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.
