Das Mercure Nantes Centre Grand Hotel ist natürlich kein Grand Hotel sondern ein von der Kette übernommenes Traditionshaus in hervorragender Lage in der Innen- stadt. Wir hatten eine der Suiten zum ruhigen Innenhof, ordentlich, doch mit abge- nutzten Möbeln und für Gepäck schlecht ausgerüstet, sodass der gesamte Raum bald zur Ablage wurde. Das Bad, für eine Person konzipiert, erforderte gefährliche Klettereien und ist für ältere Personen ungeeignet. Doch dies ist ja schon durch die Geschäftsleitung signalisiert worden, wurde die Suite doch nach einem großen französischen Ozean-Segler benannt, der sicher extrem wendig gewesen sein muss. Das Frühstücksbuffet bewegte sich im Rahmen eines 3-4 Sterne Hotels und war akzeptabel. Empfehlenswert ist dieses Hotel vor allem wegen seiner Zentrali- tät im Stadtkern und der Nähe zu den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt.

Schönes Hotel, sauber und komfortabel und das Personal angenehmen. Es gibt keinen Aufzug, und die Treppen sind stark und ziemlich eng, das war kein Problem für uns, aber es könnte für ältere oder behinderte Menschen sein. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, mit zwei Doppeltüren, die zu einem falschen Balkon führten, die gute Sound-Isolierung. Aber wir waren besorgt über die Kirche im Gegenteil mit den Klingeln, die jedes Viertel einer Stunde klingen. Wir fragten an der Rezeption und der Rezeptor sagte, es sei kein Problem, aber es war etwas vage über den Lärm. Wir wechselten Zimmer in ein Zimmer im Rücken, kleiner und nicht so nett. Es ergab, dass wir nicht brauchen, da die Klingeln während der Nacht still waren. Oh, es hat nicht viel gezählt. Duschen waren gut und die Betten sind komfortabel. Alles war sehr sauber, obwohl die Teppiche durch Ersatz getan werden konnten. Unser Sohn hatte ein separates Einzelzimmer auf der oberen Etage, das schön war, obwohl man durch das Badezimmer Zugang erhielt! Keine Rauchen-Einrichtung und keine Tiere. Das Hotel liegt in einer Straße mit mehreren Restaurants und unabhängigen Geschäften. Es gibt eine Bar neben der Tür mit Pinball-Maschine, die sehr freundlich war und eine andere große Bar weiter auf der Straße. Fantastische Rekord Shop ein paar Türen auf. Das Hotel liegt nur einen leichten Spaziergang vom Stadtzentrum entfernt und es gibt Parkplätze auf der Straße. Sie können das Schloss sehen, indem Sie aus dem Fenster klappen!

This hotel is excellent value for money. Very clean and staff excellent could not have been in a better location. I will definitely go back and stay with L’Hôtel. We used the airport shuttle bus. As you get off the bus keep the train line on your right. Just yards away are the steps upto the bridge. When you get to the top take the right turn and walk down the road don’t take the natural bend but cross over the road you’ll pass a restaurant/bar and the hotel is located a few yards away. Note when you go back to the airport by shuttle bus go to where you were dropped off and cross the road. Just before you get to the river the bus stop can be seen. Really easy both ways. We also used the trams which again is close to the hotel . The Nante voyage card included airport bus and trams. Enjoy your stay.

Great budget hotel for a short stay. Staff made it - helpful, courteous and funny. They were very accomodating with us checking in early, and then adding another day to our stay. They made sure we knew that public transport was free in Nante at Weekends, and provided a map with the landmarks and directions etc. highlighted. Our room overlooked a courtyard and was so peaceful. Compact, but contained everything you needed. You're close enough to the train station to be convenient but not bothered. Very short walk to the Castle/town centre, or a few tram stops. I love Nantes, we didn't want to come home.

I have stayed in this hotel before. I liked it's location, close to the train station and bus stop to the airport. During the pandemic, Accor the owners of the Adagio chain of hotels decided to cancel all reward points accumulated by their customers who did not stay in their hotels during the previous year. My points that I had built up were all deleted, even though we could not travel during the pandemic. As a result I now choose Accor Hotels as my second choice rather than first choice of places to stay. We decided to stay here for two nights recently. One night at the beginning of our holiday to the coast and a second night at the end of our trip to the coast. We needed a hotel close to the bus stop to the airport as we were getting an early flight. I booked this hotel three months before travelling. I requested a room on the first floor, overlooking the front of the hotel with a walk in shower. On arrival, I was offered a room on the third floor, at the back of the building with a bath. After giving them three months notice I thought that they might have actually read my requests. I stood my ground and eventually a room on the first floor, back of hotel with shower was located for me. It was a decent sized room with good air conditioning and good shower. The bed pillows have to be the worst I have ever slept on. Tiny balls of air. You end up effectively sleeping flat on the bed. I ended up propping up the pillows using towels from the bathroom. When we returned to the hotel after our weeks stay on the coast we were left waiting until 3.30 before a room was eventually found for us. Many other people were standing around reception also waiting to check in. Rooms were nor ready. Maybe they should employ more staff to deal with this. The first thing we noticed in our room was a section of the roof in the bathroom hanging down over the toilet. It looked incredibly dangerous. Our room had only just been cleaned. I cannot understand why the person cleaning the room could not have reported this danger. As there were no other rooms available in the hotel we felt that we would have to grin and bear it as we had been sitting in reception for over an hour waiting for this room to be allocated to us.

A FUIR ! Nous avions réservé cet hôtel qui se situe tout près du centre ce qui est pratique pour visiter la ville ! L'accueil est très sympathique. Ce qui relève la prestation... Nous sommes arrivés dans une chambre qui devait être ”grande”, nous avons vite déchanté ! Il nous a fallu passer par la réception, puis le parking et enfin rentrer dans ce qu'ils appellent le bâtiment ”annexe” pour monter dans notre chambre (3 codes différents à chaque fois, vous connaissez fort Boyard?). Ceci, à chaque fois que nous voulions la regagner. Lorsque nous avons voulu utiliser une serviette, je vous passe les détails : écoeurant, elle était tachée de rouge. Absolument inadmissible pour un hôtel. Même si, ce n'est pas un 3*, l'hygiène laisse vraiment à désirer. La serviette a été ramenée à l'accueil, qui nous a proposé de nous en déposer une autre dans la chambre. Devinez ? Elle n'était pas tachée de rouge mais de marron... Et pour couronner le tout, coupure de courant le 31 décembre au soir lorsque nous nous préparions. Dernières choses, qui sont des petits détails au vu de notre expérience dans cet hôtel : pas d'accès aux personnes en situation de handicap, chambre mal agencée et étroite, le bruit de la porte du bâtiment à chaque ouverture se fait entendre puisque (très) mal insonorisées. Décidément, l'hôtel logis Châteaubriant est à fuir !

Außergewöhnliches Hotel in einer umgebauten Kirche mit sehr guten Betten und modernem Ambiente. Klimaanlage leise, sehr freundlicher Empfang, sehr gutes Frühstück. Die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr gut, direkt am botanischen Garten, 5 Minuten vom Bahnhof, wo Minuten vom Schloss der Herzöge der Bretagne entfernt.

Hier war ich eine Nacht, bevor ich nach Brest reiste. freundlich hilfreich einchecken. Als war Wärmewelle (bis zu 43°C) als mein begrenzter Französisch erlaubte mir zu verstehen, dass die Klimaanlage bei dieser Temperatur nicht funktioniert, so wurde ein kostenloses Getränk angeboten und sehr geschätzt in der Bar. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel. Ich schlief fast aus dem Frühstück
