Dies war unser zweiter Besuch in Marrakech und aufgrund Lockdown war es leider auch nicht viel früher möglich gewesen. Wir sind am Airport zuverlässig abgeholt worden und Abdelmajid konnte uns auf der 30-minütigen Fahrt zum Palais Namaskar auch viel Interessantes erzählen. Kaum angekommen erschließt sich einem sofort die Ruhe und Weitläufigkeit der ganzen Anlage. Zumindest lässt es sich mit den ersten Eindrücken der Wasser- und Gartenflächen erahnen und bringt nach dem Flug sofort Entspannung. Ein sehr freundlicher und schneller Check-in bei einem Espresso außen auf der Terrasse vor der Lobby und dann mit dem Buggy zum Zimmer. Wir hatten eine 2-Bedroom Suite mit Pool gebucht und das war ganz sicher ausreichend groß für 2 Erwachsene und ein Kind mit 11 Jahren. Die Suiten bzw. Häuser liegen alle ebenerdig nebeneinander und gegenüber und sind durch Wasserflächen und Terrassen getrennt. Benachbarte Suiten bzw. deren Terrassen sind nur zum Teil zu sehen und aufgrund dessen, das hier kaum belegt war, hatten wir das Gefühlt die einzigen zu sein. Zumindest war immer Ruhe und alles sehr entspannend. Die Suite ist schön möbliert und die Betten auch toll mit perfekter Bettwäsche. Insgesamt und beim Blick auf kleine Details müsste vermutlich hier und da ein wenig nachgebessert oder nachgestrichen werden, aber der Gesamteindruck ist wirklich sehr gut mit einem Mix aus Moderne und eben Marrakech was es sehr charmant macht. Etwas frustrierend ist der Blick in die Minibar und warum dort eine kleine Flasche Cola dann €7.- kostet verstehe ich nicht immer. An der Tankstelle kosten 6 Flaschen nicht einmal €4.- Euro und auch wenn insgesamt für Suite und allem sicher immer viel Geld ausgegeben wird, muss das mit diesen Preisen eigentlich nicht sein aus meiner Sicht. Das Restaurant Palais Namaskar ist das einzige in der Anlage und dient vom Frühstück bis Dinner, wobei gegen sehr geringen Aufpreis (€10.- pro Person) das Frühstück auch auf die Terrasse gebracht wird und in 30 Minuten da ist. Die ersten beiden Tage von 7 Nächten insgesamt hatten wir Buffet beim Frühstück und wirklich eine mehr als ausreichende Auswahl von American Breakfast bis zu lokalen Köstlichkeiten. Ansonsten eben al la carte und hier konnte immer alles nach belieben frisch bestellt werden und war inkludiert. Zum Abendessen gibt es zwei Karten, eine lokale marrokanische und eine mit eher internationalen Gerichten. Da wir 7 Nächte vor Ort waren und vielleicht auch einmal der Fisch auf der Karte nicht exakt verfügbar war, konnten wir immer mit hervorragender Beratung vom Personal wechseln und uns gefühlt auch unser eigenes Menü zusammenstellen. Das gesamte Personal war immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und alle Gerichte und (leider) insbesondere der Nachtisch sehr lecker. Preis/Leistung hat auch immer sehr fair gepasst und wir konnten einige lokale Weine mit guter Beratung versuchen. Vielen Dank besonders nochmals an Oumaima, Soufian & Aziz! When we arrived the receptionists was very friendly and so were the others we spoke to through duration of the holiday. The first room we were given wasn't great, it was outdated, not clean and was was very dark. We didn't feel safe in the room either because it had a connecting door to another room which couldn't be locked. After explaining this to the receptionist he happily moved us to another room and he was very helpful. Food is bland and the same everyday. No salt and pepper to be found. The best part is breakfast with fresh omelette and morrocon flat bread. I recommend eating in Marrakech for lunch and dinner. The shuttle into Marrakech costs 40 MAD per person round trip. Which is far less than a taxi. The rest of the hotel is immaculate and the poolside is clean and the entertainment staff are all brilliant. French is the primary language at this resort so please take this into consideration. The staff will still try to communicate with you positively. Overall for what we paid it was a positive stay and the friends we made definitely made the trip a great experience.

This Hotel has so much potential to be amazing but I have a couple of comments to make. 1. The Hotel is run by very few staff. The few staff that run is are AMAZING but I can't help but feel they are over worked and they're there 24/7. I cannot fault them particularly the guys who are there from breakfast till the bar closes. Hats off to you for being polite, professional and so accommodating despite clearly there not being enough staff. Management I do feel this needs to be addressed. 2. Cleaning staff are amazing. Our room was spotless. Clean towels and bedding every day, so thank you too! Pool was looked after very morning. 3. The hotel grounds are stunning. It's like a little paradise and again spotless. 4. Food. They have the same menu every single day. I suspect due to lack of staff. It gets boring although very nice food, there needs to be some kind of rotation. We paid for all inclusive and had to spend more money to eat out as we needed a change! 5. We had a 2 bedroom family apartment which was huge, beautifully furnished and overlooking the pool. Cannot fault it. 6. Breakfast was disappointing out of all the meals. Very limited and like someone else has said a lot of flies. We ended up not bothering which again was annoying as we had committed to the all inclusive option. Overall this hotel is really lovely and definitely worth a visit and if the staff and menu issues were addressed I would happily give it a 5* review.

I was expecting this place to be nice but it was much so better!! The inside of the building looked cozy and clean and also the room we stayed in two different rooms during our stay) were big, beautiful and super clean. The pool was surrounded by a lovely green garden with trees and flowers. Kitchen was open all day and food could be served either in their inside dining area or outside by the pool, the menu had many options and everything was delicious! The reception and service staff are the most amazing people, super nice and friendly but also extremely professional and skilled at their job! We also enjoyed some excellent and beautiful cocktails that were garnished with flowers freshly picked from their garden and also tried the traditional shisha, all served while we were soaking in the shallow part of the pool. These guys are so great and made us feel genuinely welcomed, safe and truly spoiled. I cannot thank them enough for it, this place for me has just become a holiday destination itself.

This will be a long one so buckle up. Stunning hotel with great facilities, for what we got I would've expected to double the price. Photos do not lie. This is how our first day went and the 6 days after. Check-in: Stunning hotel, we arrived around 9.30 as our flight was delayed. The lovely receptionist checked us in, another luggage personnel took us to our room. Bags down and we went straight to the buffet to grab a bite as we hadn't eaten in hours. Spacious and plenty to grab even 30 mins before closing, had lovely staff bring us some wine and set up table etc. Morning: After a very comfortable sleep in our air-conditioned room, we headed down for breakfast. Breakfast was great every morning. From pancakes to bacon to eggs in 4 different ways, made-to-order omelettes, breads, soups, fruits, yoghurts, cereals, Moroccan tea and more. We pretty much had different breakfasts every morning and I still don't think we tried everything. The option to sit on the terrace or in the restaurant was great. Pool time : Sunbed situation wasn't as bad as everyone described we has seats everyday just after 10, might not be perfect shade for us but you can find a spot. Pool entertainment was amazing, the staff simply do not let you sit down for more then an hour. This was great for us. Pool bar was stocked and mojitos were unbelievable, pool snack van was great when we felt peckish. Activities in the pool or on site were non-stop, something for everything. Adult pool was nice little escape if you like book and quite, with more free beds during the day. Lunch and Dinner: BBQ was on every day, something new and delicious for lunch and dinner. The BBQ man always had a smile on his face. Every lunch and dinner there was a special table or offering. Sushi night, steak and seafood night (never had prawns in 4 different ways on my plate at once), kebab night, Paella by the pool....honestly there was a surprise every day. Evening entertainment: Iberostar knows how to throw a party, live music night was a blast, cocktail night was so classy, Moroccan night was something special...Every night...different party. After hours of shows and dancing, we headed back to the bar for drinks, which never stopped. Each of the bad staff made our night. Special staff mentions go to the following: Mo in the lobby bar, the most loveliest man you will meet that made strong mojitos and never let our glasses be empty.
