Manchester West Didsbury

Hotel was ok, little run down and not very clean. Ideal location for didsbury.

We stayed here as we were competing at a sporting event nearby the following day so a good night’s sleep was very important. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, however it was too hot to be able to sleep. The details on the website were clear that there was no air conditioning, but the window only opened very slightly and the road was too noisy to leave it open all night. Fans were supplied but they just moved the hot air around. As an example of the heat, I couldn’t put make up on the next morning as it was just sliding off my face! This was a normal day in May too, I dread to think what it would be like in summer.

Stayed here for a couple of nights, room was nice and clean and the bed was comfy as you’d expect from a Premier Inn. Staff were nice and friendly offering to make our stay as relaxing as possible. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely return in the future.

Everything was as we expected form a standard Premier Inn, except for the loud hum in the bedroom, which went on all night. We tended to leave the tv on when we went to sleep to mask the noise.

Convenient location, although some rooms on the side of a noisy road. Doesn't look that much outside or in communal areas but rooms perfectly adequate and very clean.

Would highly recommend this hotel Staff were very good and helpful Hotel very clean and comfortable which is what we look for We had the meal deal with the beefeater next door and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you

In my opinion, Premier Inns always represent value for money providing you reserve a room in advance at the right price. The rooms are always clean and tidy and the buffet breakfasts are excellent. Nevertheless, on this occasion, there were a couple of issues: If you are staying for more than one night you have to request at reception that your room is cleaned during your stay. This we duly did but it didn’t happen. In fairness to the young lady on reception she accepted responsibility for not passing on our request to housekeeping. The second issue occurred at breakfast. Although the restaurant has a plate warmer the plates were stacked far above the recessed heater and, as a consequence, were cold. Hot food on a cold plate is not ideal and I therefore requested a warm plate from the kitchen. A member of staff, ‘Peter’ was most obliging but on our third day Peter was not around and a request was made to ‘Katie’ instead. Katie’s body language clearly reflected her disdain at my request but, nevertheless, she took a plate into the kitchen. A little while later she emerged, holding the plate with a folded tea towel. She handed me the plate which I had to put down immediately. The plate was scorching hot and my fingers were severely burned. Katie walked away laughing…

Great service, very clean room, staff outstanding. Stayed for a football trip and the staff looked after remarkably. Room super clean and hospitality exceptional. Could not fault the service, will definitely be back for future trips. Thankyou
