We absolutely loved this hotel and wished we had chosen it over The Victoria Falls Hotel. We were advised by Kensington Travel who we did not use for our trip that it was best to stay in Zimbabwe. We were told Zambia was behind the falls and Zimbabwe had a much better view. Since I heard this property was so beautiful (another reviewer had said it was well worth seeing) we decided to go for lunch. I must say it wasn’t the easiest trip crossing from one country to the next. We had someone from the Victoria Falls arrange it for us. He was great and went inside the immigration offices with us, that expedited our experience greatly. I am not sure how much all this cost, but it was more than the $10.00 I had read. Our mistake was not getting a visa at the airport for both countries. Our driver could only take us to the border so we walked over the bridge and were received by someone on that side. The drive to the hotel was short. I did communicate with the hotel by email prior to our trip. I was told US passport holders “crossed without trouble”. I wish that had been true. The border crossing offices are packed with people. We were lucky we had the local person with us as language was an issue. Also when we were left off to cross the bridge we were told not to touch any item that the vendors were trying to sell. Just wave them off and keep walking. We were accosted , but did what we were told and they left us alone. All that said, we arrived to the see the most beautiful property. We walked around and it was just fabulous. I wanted to know where the animals were and if we could see Victoria Falls from the Zambia side. The most wonderful man, I think his name was Ben, not sure, but he was at the front desk area. He said come with me and took us in a golf course to view the property. We met Bob one of the 5 giraffes and saw the zebras wandering around. He also took us to the Zambia entrance to the falls so we got to see that too. He waited for us and took us back to the Royal Livingston. We had a delicious lunch out on the restaurant patio. We then took our arranged car back to the border to get back to Zimbabwe. None of this was easy, but I am so glad we did not miss this experience. In hindsight we would have stayed at this property instead of the VF hotel. The pool area was beautiful. Like night and day compared to the VF. Hotel, which is NOT good.

Die großzügig angelegte Hotelanlage im afrikanischen Stil ist ein Wohlfühlort! Wir waren nun schon das zweite Mal da. Mit direktem Zugang zu den Victoria Falls sowie zu dem durch einen kleinen Pfad erreichbare Schwesterhotel The Royal Livingstone. Dort kann man wunderbar abends oberhalb der Fälle dinieren oder einfach den Sonnenuntergang und die Strömung des Sambesi betrachten. Überall auf der Anlage laufen Tieren wie Zebras, kleine Äffchen oder Impalas herum. Diese Mal sogar Giraffen im angrenzenden Gelände. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. WiFi funktioniert überall auf der Anlage gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich und es werden auch viele herzhaften Speisen angeboten.

Great hotel! It's more than a backpackers hostel! Great management a wonderful helpful staff Joy and Miriam and Mathew did a great job! Lovely rooms with AC. Good bathrooms. Wonderful quiet garden with pool. Well stocked bar. Safe parking. Self storage kitchen with cooking equipment. Great outdoor Fire pit and BBQ facility. Good breakfast. A small mall opposite with very well stocked supermarket and banks and currency exchange. Wish I could've stayed longer!

Wir kamen, als die Welt für die Covid 19 Pandemie geschlossen war! Nur 5 Schlafen können bleiben, da ”zu Hause zurück” Bestellungen wurden ausgestellt ! Diese Unterkunft war perfekt! Wir konnten die Löwen rüber den Fluss hören, die Hippos Mutter gerade von unserem Kabine und wir konnten die Elefanten für ein Bad in den Fluss kommen! Schattenbäume, schöne Boden, grüne und lustig und gut betreut. Die Vogeln der Immobilie war lustig, als wir die Vögel einzigartig für uns sahen. Das Personal war untergebracht, das Essen ausgezeichnet und die Kabinen mit dem Außentisch, Mikrowelle und Kühlschrank war perfekt. Das Sonnenuntergang Kreuzfahrt mit Snacks und Getränken unterstreichte die vielen Vögel und Säugetiere des Zambezi-Flusses. Alfred unser Führer beschrieb den Fluss(aufsteigen), die Bäume, die Babons, etc. Die lokalen Symonga-Dörfer Frauen hatten nützliche Handwerke zu verkaufen. Das WiFi war hervorragend! Die Besitzer waren bereit, uns zu helfen, zu bleiben und die Pandemie zu fahren! So traurig zu verlassen!

Excellent riverside room and a wonderful resort overall. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. The gardens and surroundings in the resort are well maintained. The swimming pool is a great place to relax on a sunny afternoon, the restaurant and bar has excellent food refreshing drinks. It gets quite busy on the weekend and with big groups, but you can see why once you experience the facilities. Apart from the resort it's also home to safpar, they have many different options for travel along the zambezi and falls. We chose the river float, game drive and sunset cruise combo (Around $180) and it was totally worth it! Will definitely stop by again next time I'm in town.

Ein paar Tage vor Weihnachten verbrachte ich hier mit meinem Mann zwei Nächte. Die Umgebung ist erstklassig, und der Service ist im Allgemeinen schlechter als in Südostasien und etwas schlechter als in vergleichbaren Hotels in afrikanischen Ländern. Als ich morgens das Haus verließ, wurde ein Reinigungsschild aufgehängt. Ich bin mehr als drei Uhr nachmittags ins Haus zurückgekehrt und habe es nicht geputzt. Ich habe es nicht gereinigt, bis ich nachts zurückkam. Das Frühstück war ok, das britische und das amerikanische Frühstück waren ähnlich. Es war ok, aber es gab keinen frisch gepressten Saft und das Getränk fühlte sich an wie konzentrierter Saft und Wasser. Nachts aufgedeckter Turndown-Service und ein kleiner Snack war gut. Das Umfeld ist besonders gut. Es gibt Affen im Hof. Sie sind nicht so heftig wie in China. Sie sind nicht stark und greifen Menschen nicht aktiv an. Der Umkreis des Hotels ist der Safaripark. Nachdem ich mit meinem Mann die erste Nacht chinesisches Essen gegessen hatte, ging ich zurück zum Hotel und sah etwa 30 Meter vom Hoteleingang entfernt ein Wildschwein. Das große Fenster zum Fluss im Zimmer zum Fluss ist sehr ruhig. Es ist sehr bequem, morgens das Fenster zu öffnen und auf dem Bett liegend den Flussblick zu beobachten. Die Steppdecke ist eine Bettdecke, aber der Lakenbezug ist nicht weich und bequem genug, was in afrikanischen Ländern ein häufiges Problem sein kann. Insgesamt ist es lebenswert.

Ich und meine Frau blieben hier für 3 days/2nights Der Manager war sehr zugänglich und das Personal ist sehr willkommen und freundlich. Platz ist sehr sauber mit guter Temperatur Wasser, obwohl der Druck nicht sehr hoch ist. Die Lage ist etwas off-road, aber insgesamt ziemlich nahe der Stadt und den Herbst. Frühstück wird angeboten und wir genossen unser Frühstück jeden Morgen. Wir nutzten den Pool nicht, und ich denke nicht, dass es an diesem Punkt gut gepflegt wurde. Wir reisen dort im November/Dezember 2020, da war der Tourismus aufgrund von COVID stark ab. Leider, wenn Sie WiFi benötigen, war dies eine Herausforderung für uns zu der Zeit, als wir da waren. Ich empfehle, hier zu bleiben, da es ein ziemlich, friedlicher und sicherer Ort ist. Bett ist komfortabel und schön, obwohl die Einrichtungen im Allgemeinen durchschnittlich sind. Es gibt AC, die funktioniert. Unsere machte viel Lärm, obwohl wir versuchten, es nicht über die ganze Nacht zu haben, aber übten, um Zimmer sehr cool zu halten, dann gehen zum Bett. Zu dem Preis, den Sie zahlen, ist dies ein guter Ort zu bleiben, obwohl unser Budget, Reisen aus dem Vereinigten Königreich, kann anders sein als die lokalen.

Wir trafen dieses Hotel, irgendwie zufällig, da wir einen Platz für sieben Menschen brauchten, und sie konnten uns zukommen. Wir hatten einen großen Aufenthalt. Erst eine Nacht, dann waren wir eine Nacht weg, bevor wir zurückkamen. Die Gepäckstücke wurden sicher gelagert, während wir weg waren (Unsere Laptops waren in ihrem Büro gehalten), und das Personal war sehr freundlich und Service gedacht. Sie würden Sie mit einem großen Lächeln begrüßen, Ihren Namen erinnern und gehen aus ihrem Weg, um Ihren Aufenthalt groß zu machen. Wir hatten einen späteren Auscheck, einen kostenlosen Flughafenshuttle und sogar kostenloses Frühstück. Der erste Eindruck der Rezeption machte mich zu glauben, dass das ein bisschen run-down und alt war, aber die Zimmer waren überraschend schön, modern und geräumig. Und die Lage ist auch gut - obwohl nahe der Hauptstraße, das Zimmer ist am Rücken, so hören Sie nicht irgendwelche Lärme von dort in der Nacht. Der Pool ist auch nett. Zusammenfassend: zögern Sie nicht, hier zu bleiben, wenn Sie jemals nach Livingstone gehen. Der Preis ist sehr gut (insbesondere der Service!!) und Sie werden sicherlich einen guten Wert für Ihr Geld erhalten!

Wir genossen unsere Interaktionen mit Ken und Caroline. Der Rest des Personals, einschließlich der Küchenpersonal und Zimmerbediensteten Naomi und Destiny, war so nett und aufmerksam. Wir genossen unsere Interaktionen mit Ken und Caroline. Der Rest des Personals, einschließlich der Küchenpersonal und Zimmerbediensteten Naomi und Destiny, war so nett und aufmerksam. Als ich morgens das Haus verließ, wurde ein Reinigungsschild aufgehängt. Ich bin mehr als drei Uhr nachmittags ins Haus zurückgekehrt und habe es nicht geputzt. Ich habe es nicht gereinigt, bis ich nachts zurückkam. Das Frühstück war ok, das britische und das amerikanische Frühstück waren ähnlich. Es war ok, aber es gab keinen frisch gepressten Saft und das Getränk fühlte sich an wie konzentrierter Saft und Wasser. Nachts aufgedeckter Turndown-Service und ein kleiner Snack war gut. Das Umfeld ist besonders gut. Es gibt Affen im Hof. Sie sind nicht so heftig wie in China. Sie sind nicht stark und greifen Menschen nicht aktiv an. Der Umkreis des Hotels ist der Safaripark. Nachdem ich mit meinem Mann die erste Nacht chinesisches Essen gegessen hatte, ging ich zurück zum Hotel und sah etwa 30 Meter vom Hoteleingang entfernt ein Wildschwein. Das große Fenster zum Fluss im Zimmer zum Fluss ist sehr ruhig. Es ist sehr bequem, morgens das Fenster zu öffnen und auf dem Bett liegend den Flussblick zu beobachten. Die Steppdecke ist eine Bettdecke, aber der Lakenbezug ist nicht weich und bequem genug, was in afrikanischen Ländern ein häufiges Problem sein kann. Insgesamt ist es lebenswert.

Excellent riverside room and a wonderful resort overall. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. The gardens and surroundings in the resort are well maintained. The swimming pool is a great place to relax on a sunny afternoon, the restaurant and bar has excellent food refreshing drinks. It gets quite busy on the weekend and with big groups, but you can see why once you experience the facilities. Apart from the resort it's also home to safpar, they have many different options for travel along the zambezi and falls. We chose the river float, game drive and sunset cruise combo (Around $180) and it was totally worth it! Will definitely stop by again next time I'm in town.

Das große Fenster zum Fluss im Zimmer zum Fluss ist sehr ruhig. Es ist sehr bequem, morgens das Fenster zu öffnen und auf dem Bett liegend den Flussblick zu beobachten. Die Steppdecke ist eine Bettdecke, aber der Lakenbezug ist nicht weich und bequem genug, was in afrikanischen Ländern ein häufiges Problem sein kann. Insgesamt ist es lebenswert.

Wir trafen dieses Hotel, irgendwie zufällig, da wir einen Platz für sieben Menschen brauchten, und sie konnten uns zukommen. Wir hatten einen großen Aufenthalt. Erst eine Nacht, dann waren wir eine Nacht weg, bevor wir zurückkamen. Die Gepäckstücke wurden sicher gelagert, während wir weg waren (Unsere Laptops waren in ihrem Büro gehalten), und das Personal war sehr freundlich und Service gedacht. Sie würden Sie mit einem großen Lächeln begrüßen, Ihren Namen erinnern und gehen aus ihrem Weg, um Ihren Aufenthalt groß zu machen. Wir hatten einen späteren Auscheck, einen kostenlosen Flughafenshuttle und sogar kostenloses Frühstück. Der erste Eindruck der Rezeption machte mich zu glauben, dass das ein bisschen run-down und alt war, aber die Zimmer waren überraschend schön, modern und geräumig. Und die Lage ist auch gut - obwohl nahe der Hauptstraße, das Zimmer ist am Rücken, so hören Sie nicht irgendwelche Lärme von dort in der Nacht. Der Pool ist auch nett. Zusammenfassend: zögern Sie nicht, hier zu bleiben, wenn Sie jemals nach Livingstone gehen. Der Preis ist sehr gut (insbesondere der Service!!) und Sie werden sicherlich einen guten Wert für Ihr Geld erhalten!

Die großzügig angelegte Hotelanlage im afrikanischen Stil ist ein Wohlfühlort! Wir waren nun schon das zweite Mal da. Mit direktem Zugang zu den Victoria Falls sowie zu dem durch einen kleinen Pfad erreichbare Schwesterhotel The Royal Livingstone. Dort kann man wunderbar abends oberhalb der Fälle dinieren oder einfach den Sonnenuntergang und die Strömung des Sambesi betrachten. Überall auf der Anlage laufen Tieren wie Zebras, kleine Äffchen oder Impalas herum. Diese Mal sogar Giraffen im angrenzenden Gelände. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. WiFi funktioniert überall auf der Anlage gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich und es werden auch viele herzhaften Speisen angeboten.

Great hotel! It's more than a backpackers hostel! Great management a wonderful helpful staff Joy and Miriam and Mathew did a great job! Lovely rooms with AC. Good bathrooms. Wonderful quiet garden with pool. Well stocked bar. Safe parking. Self storage kitchen with cooking equipment. Great outdoor Fire pit and BBQ facility. Good breakfast. A small mall opposite with very well stocked supermarket and banks and currency exchange. Wish I could've stayed longer!

Wir kamen, als die Welt für die Covid 19 Pandemie geschlossen war! Nur 5 Schlafen können bleiben, da ”zu Hause zurück” Bestellungen wurden ausgestellt ! Diese Unterkunft war perfekt! Wir konnten die Löwen rüber den Fluss hören, die Hippos Mutter gerade von unserem Kabine und wir konnten die Elefanten für ein Bad in den Fluss kommen! Schattenbäume, schöne Boden, grüne und lustig und gut betreut. Die Vogeln der Immobilie war lustig, als wir die Vögel einzigartig für uns sahen. Das Personal war untergebracht, das Essen ausgezeichnet und die Kabinen mit dem Außentisch, Mikrowelle und Kühlschrank war perfekt. Das Sonnenuntergang Kreuzfahrt mit Snacks und Getränken unterstreichte die vielen Vögel und Säugetiere des Zambezi-Flusses. Alfred unser Führer beschrieb den Fluss(aufsteigen), die Bäume, die Babons, etc. Die lokalen Symonga-Dörfer Frauen hatten nützliche Handwerke zu verkaufen. Das WiFi war hervorragend! Die Besitzer waren bereit, uns zu helfen, zu bleiben und die Pandemie zu fahren! So traurig zu verlassen!

We absolutely loved this hotel and wished we had chosen it over The Victoria Falls Hotel. We were advised by Kensington Travel who we did not use for our trip that it was best to stay in Zimbabwe. We were told Zambia was behind the falls and Zimbabwe had a much better view. Since I heard this property was so beautiful (another reviewer had said it was well worth seeing) we decided to go for lunch. I must say it wasn’t the easiest trip crossing from one country to the next. We had someone from the Victoria Falls arrange it for us. He was great and went inside the immigration offices with us, that expedited our experience greatly. I am not sure how much all this cost, but it was more than the $10.00 I had read. Our mistake was not getting a visa at the airport for both countries. Our driver could only take us to the border so we walked over the bridge and were received by someone on that side. The drive to the hotel was short. I did communicate with the hotel by email prior to our trip. I was told US passport holders “crossed without trouble”. I wish that had been true. The border crossing offices are packed with people. We were lucky we had the local person with us as language was an issue. Also when we were left off to cross the bridge we were told not to touch any item that the vendors were trying to sell. Just wave them off and keep walking. We were accosted , but did what we were told and they left us alone. All that said, we arrived to the see the most beautiful property. We walked around and it was just fabulous. I wanted to know where the animals were and if we could see Victoria Falls from the Zambia side. The most wonderful man, I think his name was Ben, not sure, but he was at the front desk area. He said come with me and took us in a golf course to view the property. We met Bob one of the 5 giraffes and saw the zebras wandering around. He also took us to the Zambia entrance to the falls so we got to see that too. He waited for us and took us back to the Royal Livingston. We had a delicious lunch out on the restaurant patio. We then took our arranged car back to the border to get back to Zimbabwe. None of this was easy, but I am so glad we did not miss this experience. In hindsight we would have stayed at this property instead of the VF hotel. The pool area was beautiful. Like night and day compared to the VF. Hotel, which is NOT good.
