Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt im Marriott Batam, um unseren Hochzeitstag zu feiern, und unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen! Vom ersten Moment unserer Ankunft an wurden wir vom Personal herzlich und gastfreundlich empfangen. Die Liebe zum Detail und die aufmerksamen Gesten machten unsere Feier zu etwas ganz Besonderem – darunter eine kostenlose Hochzeitstorte, die eine so süße Überraschung war! Das Hotel selbst ist atemberaubend. Wir haben es sehr genossen, in der Rooftop-Bar mit ihrer wunderschönen Aussicht zu entspannen, und der Pool war perfekt zum Abschalten. Auch das Frühstück war ein Highlight – so viele köstliche Optionen für jeden Geschmack. Jeder Mitarbeiter, dem wir begegneten, war freundlich, professionell und tat alles, um uns einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Solch einen hervorragenden Service findet man selten. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Vielen Dank, Marriott Batam, dass Sie unseren Hochzeitstag zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht haben!

MMaei TravellerOverall it is very good. Especially the location, just walk for less than 5mins from the ferry terminal. And it's near everywhere we go. The hotel staff speaks English and the service is good.
However, there are 4 downsides of this hotel.
- There's no ventilator in the toilet.
- The toilet floor is not well level, water is all over the place after the shower.
- The mattress was sagged to a side.
- There's this one day, around 8.30am, I was sleeping, the staff came knocking and multiple doorbells rang until we walked to the door. They were asking if we wanted to do laundry. That night, I had to put up the 'do not disturb sign'.
Other than that, it's good.

GGastnutzerThere's some miscommunication on the booking as per booking page is either a big bed or 2 single bed. Upon booking did write the bed preference but was not fulfilled.
However try to communicate with the staff and trip.com able to be assigned to 2 single bed room.
There's slight leakage of the aircon, contact front desk and get it fixed.
Hotel breakfast is not nice.
Overall the staff is friendly n helpful, and has good location.

KKirvyIch hatte einen wirklich wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Grand Eska Hotel Batam! Das Essen war absolut lecker, ob es das Frühstück oder das Wochenende Samstag BBQ und das Hotel hatte eine so lebendige Atmosphäre mit Veranstaltungen, die die Erfahrung noch angenehmer machten.
Ein besonderes Schrei an Felix! Wer über und über unseren Aufenthalt ging. Von der Empfehlung großer Abendessenspots bis sogar uns mit Geschenke kaufen, seine gedankenvollen Service hat uns wirklich gut gepflegt. Es ist selten, jemanden so engagiert und ehrlich zu treffen. Danke, Felix!
Was am meisten herauskam, war die warme Gastfreundschaft von jedem Mitarbeiter, den wir trafen. Wohin auch immer Sie im Hotel gehen, Sie sind immer mit einem hellen Lächeln gegrüßt, das Sie zu Hause fühlen.
Insgesamt hätte ich nicht um eine bessere Erfahrung gebeten. Sehr empfehlen Grand Eska Hotel Batam für jeden, der Batam besucht wird, werden Sie gut gefüttert, gut betreut, und gehen mit einem großen Lächeln.

GGastnutzerSERVICE WAS SUPERB - booked this short trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the team really went ABOVE AND BEYOND.
We arrived slightly earlier than check in time and were prepared to wait but right from the getgo, Ayu who checked us in - was all smiles and even stepped out from behind her counter (she did not have to) to wish us a Happy Anniversary and to let us know that the hotel prepared a small surprise for us. We went to the room and were greeted with the LOVELIEST note and towel art, and mirror art which we could not even bear to wipe away by the lovely Amel. All the staff there were really very smiley right from the entrance all the way to housekeeping.
Food in the hotel was great - room service as well as breakfast buffet. Breakfast was a mix of local food, indomie (!!!), eggs station and assortment of western and pastries too! My favourite was the fresh juices, tea and eggs station! It was a nice spread!
Amel received us at breakfast on Day 2 and 3 and even prepared a special meal for us - it was really yummy and THOUGHTFUL and the icing on top was when the entire team came out to sing us a song (with a guitar and the full works :')) and the cake on Day 3! We are sold to come back to only 4 Points Sheraton Batam for life every time we visit because they really made us feel so so welcomed and special.

HHamzah189Very clean and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. The location, while close to a lot of places, was not accessible by foot. I prefer a place that I can simply walk out and enjoy the area. There were no footpaths outside the hotel. Not the hotel's fault of course. Overall, nice place to chill.

AAnonymer BenutzerI booked this hotel because it was newly opened, but only realized upon arrival that parts of the property were still undergoing construction. The gym was not yet operational, and several rooms remained closed for renovation.
During my two-night stay, there was a serious insect issue in the room, including mosquitoes, fruit flies, flies, and other insects. My friend was bitten multiple times during our stay. On the morning of the second day, I requested a room change, but was informed that the hotel was fully booked and no alternative room was available.
The staff assured me that they would arrange pest control treatment for the room, but no action appeared to have been taken. Overall, I was quite disappointed with the experience, especially given the lack of resolution despite raising the issue with the hotel.
