Das Wetter am Qingcheng-Berg war leicht regnerisch, und ich verbrachte drei Tage im Hotel. Für Alleinreisende sind der Service und die Ausstattung des Hotels besonders wichtig. Ein junges und freundliches Team sorgte dafür, dass ich mich während meiner drei Tage und zwei Nächte rundum wohlfühlte. Anreise: Der Hochgeschwindigkeitszug zum Bahnhof Qingcheng-Berg ist nur 5,6 Kilometer entfernt und kostet mit dem Taxi etwas über zehn Yuan, sodass ich mir keine Gedanken um die Anreise machen musste. Zimmer: Das Hotel bot ein Thermalbad, eine Minibar, Obst zur Begrüßung und Snacks – alles, was man erwartet. Die Sauberkeit war tadellos. Aktivitäten: Das Hotel bot viele kostenlose Aktivitäten an, wie zum Beispiel Sutra-Abschreiben, Meditation und Baduanjin (Acht Brokatstücke). Ich nahm zwei Tage hintereinander an Klangschalenmeditationen teil; die Anleitung durch einen Lehrer erleichterte mir das Entspannen. Restaurant: Das Frühstück war zwar nicht Fünf-Sterne-Niveau, aber es erfüllte meine Bedürfnisse. Die Nudeln und Reisnudeln waren köstlich, alles andere als lieblos zubereitet, vergleichbar mit einem Restaurant. Mittag- und Abendessen können im Voraus reserviert werden. Ich wurde sogar vom Personal gelobt, weil ich zwei Tage hintereinander kalt angemachte Houttuynia cordata gegessen hatte – sie war wirklich köstlich! Als ich meine Mahlzeit nicht aufessen konnte, bot mir ein Mitarbeiter an, mir etwas aufzuheben – so aufmerksam! Wenn es die Zeit erlaubt, möchte ich unbedingt noch ein paar Tage länger bleiben. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, wenn ich die Gelegenheit dazu habe. Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden und werde beim nächsten Mal aus folgenden Gründen wiederkommen: 1. Die Dame an der Rezeption ist nett und enthusiastisch. Sie hat uns sorgfältig bei der Planung unserer Reiseroute geholfen und alle unsere Wünsche beantwortet. 2. Die geografische Lage ist hervorragend. Essen, Unterkunft, Transport, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Unterhaltung sind in der antiken Stadt Tai'an sehr günstig. 3. Intelligente und vollständige Einrichtungen 4. Saubere und komfortable Umgebung 5. Schöne Landschaft, leckeres Essen, Bergblick aus dem Fenster, gurgelndes Wasser (Donner) 6. Der Garten am Flussufer ist sehr stimmungsvoll Bequem und bequem

This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms. Some noteworthy details: - Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort. - The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include: (a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now! (b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room (c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C. (d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold. - Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them. - We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away. - We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2. - Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too. - We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests. Areas of improvement: - Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake. - The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper. - Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor). We booked a room for four, but there were never enough towels and other toiletry items for four people. Seemed hotel wasn't well managed during low season. Only one small pool of hot spring is open. The rest were close. There wasn't any booking system, so when you saw 2, 4 big guys in the pool, you wouldn't want to get in. Breakfast was fine with Sichuan special dishes. The good thing was that it is right opposite to High Speed Rail station.

Beautiful place, as depicted in the photos. Service and food were great. Bed was super comfortable, shower was hot and strong, toiletries were of superb quality. We went with our elderly parents and they loved being in nature and having such fresh air everyday. It feels like a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Note that there is no nearby shop as the hotel is halfway up the hill and the hotel restaurant is not open throughout the day. This was not an issue for us as we were able to order food delivery with the guidance of the hotel staff. Also, this is much nearer to 街子古镇 and is quite a distance to the main 青城山 area. We loved 街子古镇 though as it is much less touristy than the main 青城山 area and spent an entire day exploring the town. What could be improved: - During our first day there were issues with wifi and the room heater. Although the staff responded to our requests for help immediately, it took a few hours to fix the wifi, while the heater was only fixed the next day. Service was very pleasant though and I appreciate their sincere updates as I understand some things are beyond control. I do wish they could have checked the heater beforehand. - There was no tour of the grounds when we arrived, nor an introduction to the free activities available as part of our stay, so we had to explore the place ourselves and ask for activities such as: calligraphy, horse riding, free car ride to the Qingchengshan train station. All in all, despite a few hiccups, it was a very comfortable and restful stay. Thank you to the team for taking good care of us!

Here’s a revised version of the review with that detail smoothly added: ⸻ Xingye Snow Mountain Manor – Comfortable Stay with Hot Springs, but Snow-Dependent Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is located about a 30–40 minute drive from Xiling Snow Mountain. We chose this hotel mainly for a skiing trip, with the added bonus of having hot spring facilities on-site. We stayed from 28–30 December 2025. Unfortunately, while there was a small amount of snow at the top of the mountain, there wasn’t enough snow for skiing, which is worth keeping in mind as snow conditions are very weather-dependent. The hotel itself has good facilities, including hot springs, sauna, and a swimming pool. The hot spring experience felt private and relaxing, as there are multiple smaller tubs designed for individuals or family groups, rather than one large communal pool. There is also a dedicated changing area with showers, plenty of towels, and hair dryers, which is well-organised and convenient after soaking. The surrounding area is quite deserted, with only a few old shops across the road selling BBQ skewers and basic convenience store snacks. The police station is immediately next door, which adds a sense of security. Dining options nearby are very limited, so the hotel restaurant is the most decent and reliable place to eat. We particularly enjoyed their non-spicy chicken and mushroom hotpot, priced at 368 yuan, which was generous enough for a family of 3–4 people. The breakfast was also yummy and a highlight of our stay. One nice extra was the complimentary photo session with a professional photographer. You receive 3 photos for free, and if you choose to purchase all the digital photos taken, it costs around 400 yuan for approximately 43 photos. Transportation was one downside. We didn’t enjoy using Didi in this area. On the way to Xiling Snow Mountain, the Didi fare was 40 yuan, but the driver asked for an additional 30 yuan to cover his return trip. For the return journey, the driver didn’t accept the fixed price, used the meter instead, and requested an extra 20 yuan for parking fees at the mountain. For reference, the cable car prices at Xiling Snow Mountain are 320 yuan per person per day to the top, or 250 yuan per person per day to the halfway point. If you stay at hotels near the cable car, you only pay for the ride once. Since Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is farther away, you have to pay the same cable car rate every day, which adds up. Overall, Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is a comfortable hotel with good hot spring facilities and decent food, but it’s best suited for travellers who value relaxation over convenience. If skiing is your main goal, staying closer to the cable car may be more cost-effective and practical.

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber und ordentlich. Alle Annehmlichkeiten waren in ausgezeichnetem Zustand. Der Service war herzlich und aufmerksam! Auch der Nachmittagstee und das Frühstück waren reichlich und köstlich und wurden sogar aufs Zimmer gebracht. 👍 Ich fühlte mich wie zu Hause, und die Osmanthusblüten vor dem Fenster waren ein unvergesslicher Anblick. Wäre ich nicht so verplant gewesen, wäre ich gerne länger geblieben. Die Matratze war außerdem unglaublich bequem und hatte genau die richtige Härte. 👍 Normalerweise schreibe ich keine Bewertungen, aber hier konnte ich es mir nicht verkneifen, einen dicken Daumen hoch zu geben. 👍

Es ist ein immersives Erlebnis in der Märchenwelt ... Es ist so heilsam! 💐Ich muss sagen, dieser Ort ist wirklich zum Spielen für die ganze Familie geeignet! Sehr gut geeignet, um mit den Kindern rauszugehen! Meine Tochter sagte, sie wolle ein paar Tage hier bleiben! ♨️Privatbad mit Sternenhimmel: Vor jedem Holzhaus befindet sich ein Privatbad. Went during a low season. The hotel was virtually empty except for us, but the staff remained professional. The rooms were a slight letdown on a few points - BUT overall it was extremely enjoyable and downright luxurious in other areas. Overall, a definite recommend. We had a great stay and a great time. Amazing - it's a working tea farm. We woke early to pluck tea leaves for the experience (free but worth 68 yuan) and if you collect enough you can take it to the tea master to then experience frying the tea in a wok to turn the fresh leaves into dry green tea. The tea sachets in the rooms are made by the hotel themselves and taste great. More free experiences are included with the stay, including tea brewing classes and wearing hanfu. I thought it to be incredibly value for money. The private onsen is great and came with a homemade herbal pouch to throw in for a medicinal bath. The rooms are spacious with an excellent view - and I MUST commend the incredible number of light switches which let you have any combination of light ambience. Minor letdowns - mosquitoes will come to you at the alfresco area during mealtimes, I would sit indoors next time. We also had to run the shower for a long while before hot water could come out. The charging sockets are a little iffy with lots of dust in the sockets and some outlets might not be working depending on your luck. The standard sockets mostly work but USB sockets might not. The smart W/C is also slightly malfunctioning but largely works as intended.

Overall, I was quite disappointed with my stay. The hotel’s location is very convenient, but there are quite a few areas where the service and facilities could be improved. First of all, the front desk was seriously understaffed. During peak hours, there were only two staff members handling check-ins, resulting in very slow service and long waiting times. Unfortunately, the staff were also not particularly friendly or patient. There was also a discrepancy between the room description and the actual room. When booking, the room description indicated that three double beds would be combined to form one large bed. However, in reality, only two double beds were pushed together to make one large bed. We were a group of three, but only two sets of toiletries were provided in the room. I called the front desk to request an additional set and waited for about 30 minutes, but nothing was delivered. I called again and was told that a robot would deliver the items shortly. However, the delivery was incomplete — the towel and bottled water were missing. After calling the front desk for the third time, I was told that they were very busy and that I would have to wait a long time. I explained that I needed to go out and could not wait for too long, but the staff simply asked me to come downstairs and pick up the items myself. For a hotel, I found this level of service quite disappointing. Another issue is the elevator situation at night. There were often many people waiting for the elevators, as some guests were going to the 19th floor to enjoy the night view of Dujiangyan, while others were heading to the hot springs. The waiting time could be quite long. Also, only a very limited number of rooms actually have a view of the “Blue Tears” phenomenon. Even at the restaurant on the 19th floor, there are only about three seats with a good view, and they are often occupied. It can be quite difficult to get one of those seats. The hair dryer in the room was also very disappointing. The airflow was extremely weak and there was no cool-air setting, which is particularly inconvenient for women. The biggest advantage of this hotel is definitely its location. It is very close to the train station and Yangtianwo Square, making it very convenient for transportation and sightseeing. Overall, while the location is excellent, the service efficiency, front desk service, room description, and some of the facilities did not meet my expectations. If you value good service and a comfortable stay, I would recommend considering these issues carefully before booking.
