The Bay Apartments are a good value but simple place to stay in Hobart. We stayed here for 1 night this week, in a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean but small. It had an overpowering smell of cleaning products when we arrived but this dispersed during our stay. The bathroom is a traditional shower-over-bath, and there is a small living area and flat screen TV. There is a small cooktop and sink, and a bar fridge. The apartments are a short walk to a large range of restaurants, a Woolworths and a Cole. There is also a pub (almost) next door. It is a short drive to Hobart CBD and there are public buses out the front. We were apprehensive at first as it was quite noisy (noise from other guests and from the road), but this didn’t affect our sleep quality. There is parking outside the unit and one reverse cycle aircon unit in the living area. Don’t expect a fancy property- this is a basic but well presented unit at an affordable price point, not a $300/nt property. If you set your expectations correctly this is a very good property. The stairways to the upstairs appartments are very narrow and it is difficult to carry large cases up and down. I’d stay here again if looking for a basic stay in Hobart, but probably not for multiple nights.

I am very disappointed as I thought I booked a room in Wrest Point but instead it was in adjacent property called Motor Inn. I felt that I have been cheated as the picture in the booking details showed me Wrest point Towel and not Motor Inn. I thought the room was called Motor Inn as I have not been there to know the existence of Motor Inn. When I queried about it, they said it was the agent's (trip.com) fault . To move to the main tower will cost me an extra of $80. I felt I have been conned and they should have placed the Motor Inn building photo instead of the tower of Wrest Point in their website for booking. (It is deceptive marketing - show you a ferrari for sale and got a lemon after you have paid for it) Motor Inn is an old building and does not have lifts to the room we were allocated and being retirees , we have to carry our bags up to 2 flights of stairs. On top of that, the room walls were not sound proof and you can hear every customer slamming their doors and flushing their toilets. I thought we have booked the room with the sea view instead there were only bushes as a window view. It was so embarrassing when I thought I could request for a room on a higher floor in wrest tower for good views but instead shown out of the door to an old adjacent building call Motor Inn. In all its websites and advertising, there is not 1 photo to show Motor Inn as Wrest Point . It has always being the tower used to promote the sale of their rooms. The Bistro food is poor quality and costly. We order from the caviary and the food came out to be cold and dry. We wanted to try the other 2 restaurants Kwan Ho and the one on the 17 th floor in the main tower but were told they were close. I thought being a top notch hotel, their restaurant will be open 7 days instead they are closed 2 days.( sun and mon). - the days we were there sat,sun,mon) They have a fantastic location but sad to say they don't have the marks of a 5 star hotel. Had a two night stay, extremely obliging reception staff, arriving earlier than anticipated but were able to allow an early check in. Appreciated with the extremely cold weather. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable beds. A great choice of Cafes close by for a coffee & snack. Plenty of places close dinner options. A place to remember for my next trip to Hobart. Will be a return traveler to Mayfair whenever in Hobart.

Insgesamt eine gut gepflegte und gut vorgestellte Einrichtung. Schöne Gärten, einfache Parkplätze (auf dem ersten Versuch können Sie die Fahrbahn aus der Hauptstraße verpassen, während der Verkehr), das beste kontinentale Frühstück rund um mit Getreide, Milch, schwerem Sourd, Yoghurt, Obstsalat, Tee und Kaffee. Der Hafen am Ende des Tages mit einem Schokolade ist ein angenehmer Kontakt. Komfortable Zimmer und Einrichtungen. Wenn Sie sich nicht um einen Spaziergang (15 Minuten) um die Beine strecken, einfachen Zugang zum Pier-Bereich und Salamanca Märkte.

Great location in bush setting. All informatiin sent in email before stay was helpful, so access was easy. Self contained cabin,with all you need, included. Great for short, or longer stays. Not far from city centre

Had a recent stay for 3 nights and found it really enjoyable. After a little confusion with parking the car due to street it is located on being a bus thoroughfare, valet parking was prompt and we found we didn't need to get car out again. Great location in the centre of town and easy walking to everything Hobart has to offer. Rooms were very clean, although a little small, bathroom was a generous size although water did flood floor when showering. Did have to order another pillow as ones in room were rock hard. Breakfast was very yummy and buffet option that was offered had more than enough to satisfy. Gym was small with just enough equipment to do a workout. The Chocolate Hour was a bit of a letdown, not what we expected, but still another point of difference. All in all, a really nice stay and we'll certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The rather bland exterior of the hotel hides a pleasant enough interior. Despite being situated on a busy road, our room was totally free of traffic noise. The bathroom looked to have been recently renovated. The room was a little small with built in shelf space, but no cupboards and only floor space to put suitcases on. The bathroom window lock didn't work, but being on the second floor, we didn't feel at risk. Tea, coffee, jug, iron, ironing board, fridge, plenty of power points, air conditioning and comfortable beds were all positives. Security is excellent. You need to swipe your keycard at the main entrance and floor entrance before accessing your room (again with the keycard). The hotel also has a fairly large car park at the rear of the building. Staff were polite and helpful. The hotel is only about a 15-20 walk away from the Salamanca Square/Franklin Wharf area. It also houses a very good and popular restaurant (see Hobart Restaurants, Doctor Syntax). Also, being a hotel, it costs a lot less to stay here than in one of the big-name motels around town. I'd happily stay here again.

Große Lage - SkyBus von Flughafen kostet nur 19 Audi und fällt Sie nur um die Ecke (anstatt 91 Audi vom Flughafen nach Stadt mit anderen Verkehrsmitteln). Sehr schönes und hilfsbereites Personal - haben eine gedruckte Liste von Orten und Dingen zu tun in Hobart. Zimmer - 503 geräumig mit 2 Fenster mit einem Teil des Hafens und der Stadt.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Grand Vue Hotel absolut geliebt. Ich habe dieses Hotel für meinen Geburtstag gebucht und es hat wirklich beides überschritten. Alles, was angeboten wurde, war von hervorragender Qualität, Zimmer waren unspottbar und die Besitzer hatten sich klar über jede letzte Details gedacht, um eine erstaunliche Erfahrung zu machen. Die Schlafzimmer und Wohnbereiche sind schön und wir mögen das Vorzimmer mit dem Feuerplatz besonders. Der Blick von unserem Zimmer war auch wunderschön! Die Kücheneinrichtungen waren fantastisch und es gab frisches Brot, Heimgebacken und Croissants jeden Morgen ausgestellt (was erstaunlich war!). Wir sind früh in Hobart angekommen, aber die Besitzer lassen uns in unser Zimmer wirklich früh, was sehr geschätzt wurde. Ich dachte, die Gästeinformationen (z.B. Szenenreisen, Restaurants, Bars) usw. war äußerst hilfreich! Ich empfehle dieses Hotel jedem, der nach der besten Qualität, dem Komfort und einem luxuriösen Aufenthalt sucht.

Große 2 Schlafzimmereinheit, die wir als Basis für 5 Nächte, um die untere Hälfte von Tassie zu erkunden. Wohnbereich ist nicht riesig und die Küche ist klein, aber es ist alles sehr funktional und funktioniert gut. Die Zimmer und Badezimmer sind mit komfortablen Betten und Badezimmern im oberen Stockwerk großartig - fantastische Dusche. Waschmaschine sind gut mit 5 Waschmaschinen und Trocknern, und Sie können auch jederzeit zusätzliche Kaffee, Zucker, Handtücher hier. Nicht den Pool, aber es sieht toll aus. Parkplatz ist einfach mit Parks direkt außerhalb Ihrer Einheitstür. Insgesamt, toller Ort zu bleiben, aber ziemlich Hilly, wenn Sie in die Stadt gehen wollen.
