Guildford Hotel

設施簡陋，浴室衛生不合格

While location is close to train station, need seperate access from room to car park not through the pub.The access to car park was through pub which was not open till 10am and during checkout I had to carry all luggage on the way to car park through front street, which was not convenient for family with kids.Facilities at Apartment was average but cigarettes smokes stinks at the staircase. Okay for 1 day though as it is in main city.

We stayed as a family and were not told previous to booking or arrival of any renovations going on to to Hotel which meant that to access the parking for the property we had to walk around the block instead of the Hotel as children under 18 were not allowed, not to mention works to renovation from 7am each morning. The shared Bathrooms although looked great in the pictures were in poor condition, the men’s shared bathrooms a toilet seat was unfastened to the toilet, mirror gone off the wall in basin, both basins were blocked and filled with dirty water from others brushing their teeth and you had to run around I. The shower to get wet as the water pressure would even be enough to fill up a water balloon, we have stayed here numerous times previously and always stayed in the Apartment quarters which were great value and has its own private bathroom. Unfortunately left really let down this time and won’t be staying again unless the new renovations include the accommodation aswell..

Stayed as a waypoint on a long roadtrip. Would recommend for the convenience of the bar downstairs, more food options than imaginable across the road and up the street, and the helpful staff.

horrible the room was that hot even with air con on high, the hall bath etc was like 30° the kettle was black on the bottom with a horrible smell, the free Wi-Fi wasn't working. their was a big stain on the bak board of the bed head, hate to think what it was. we wish we knew half the hotel was in construction no bristo etc. stayed like 3brs, would of come if we knew half the place was in construction. and how hot it was. asked for a refund was refused $130 wasted alot of money when your on a pension. would never recommend the ibis is better.

The whole venue stinks of cigarette smoke. As soon as you walk into the restaurant, and all throughout our room as there was no insulation and cracks in the floorboards that you could see the people down below! It was ridiculously loud the entire night until we left early morning. Also, no hand soap in the bathroom. Do not recommend

The 2 bedroom apartment was much more than I expected. Large and very spacious! Went downstairs for dinner and food was delicious. Staff were very friendly. Only down side to the trip was the signage from the car park situated at the back of the venue and where you check in for accomodation was almost non existent bar one sign. However it does look like they are completing renovations so this may be a factor. Overall I would definitely book and stay again!

It was a good stay for one night. The apartment was huge and my kids enjoyed every moment of it. The kitchen cupboards where dirty and sticky and I understand there is renovations happening so I would love to see it when everything is completed. Check out was not convient as the access to cars was difficult people on the streets outside scared my children.

I recently stayed at the Guilford hotel for two days, and overall, their service was exceptional. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the bed frame, as it did not meet my expectations. Additionally, the water kettle in my room was broken, and when I approached the staff for a replacement, I was informed that it couldn't be replaced at that time (7:00 AM). In my opinion, it is the hotel's responsibility to ensure that all amenities are in working order. On a positive note, the parking area was quite spacious, but I found it inconvenient that the door to access the back parking area was closed. Although they mentioned that the door opened from 10 AM to 10 PM, it poses an inconvenience for guests who need to access the area earlier than 10 AM due to early travel plans.
