Front desk lied about early check-in. We called ahead because we were buying groceries and wanted to make sure the room was ready and was told our room was ready for early checkin. Get there and they said it wasn't ready and had to wait 40 mins for our room. I had cold food that needed to be put in the fridge. Then the fridge in room was broken, asked for a different one, but the second one was broke too. Exhaust fan in bathroom doesn't work ( we had the exact same room last year and told them the exhaust fan didn't work... a year later and they still didn't fix it!. The silver coating on the Faucets at sink are pealing off. Carpets in hallways have large rips in them, bath drain was broke, elevator certification not up to date- it is expired by more than 4 months and one elevator makes horrible creaking sounds when in use. Maids are talking loudly in the halls at 7:00 in the morning. We've stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past, but this will be our last stay at the Hampton on Jekyll Island. The rooms cost too much for things to be broken, and not work. This hotel is really going downhill. There was a dead snake on the patio for a whole day that the staff never removed. We still love Jekyll Island, although every year we go there are more people.... but this hotel and service in not recommended any more.

Das war mein dritter Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Wir hatten absolut GREAT Erfahrungen bei unseren vorangegangenen Reisen (alle Aufenthalte im Jahr 2022). Leider war dieses Besuch wirklich schlecht. Als wir in unser Zimmer eintraten, gab es einen sehr schlechten Geruch. Als wir unpackten, bemerkten wir, dass die Bettwäsche aussehend Dampf. Wir dachten, es sei, weil die Blätter nicht vollständig trocken waren. Nach dem ersten Tag stellten wir fest, dass es ein ernstes Feuchtigkeitsproblem gab. Unsere Kleidung war Dampf und der Geruch war übertrieben. Ich bin nicht sicher, ob es eine kürzlich geleistete Pipeline-Frage oder was passiert ist. Es war nicht so, als wir vor kurzem zu Hause waren. Wir sind wieder nach Hause und jetzt habe ich Sinus-Fragen. :( Ich hoffe, dass diese Frage bald behandelt wird.

Das ist eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit, zumindest für mich, einem sehr schönen Empfangsmann. Das Zimmer ist gut, das Dekor ist gut und das Bett ist angemessen. Aber wenn Sie glauben, Sie werden eine schöne, heiße Dusche, Sie haben eine andere Sache kommen. Ich denke, die Führung versucht, ”The Planet Save!” für mich durch einen Super-low-Flow-Duschkopf zu bedienen. Oder es könnte sein, dass sie nur Geld sparen. Ich vermute, dass letztere, aber Sie sind der Richter. Stellen Sie sich vor, dass statt warmes Wasser aus einem Duschekopf, stattdessen es nur nett ausdreht, und es ist nicht sehr heiß. Das war meine erste Erfahrung mit dieser Hotelgruppe! Die Eincheckung ging reibungslos und schnell und das Personal war effizient, aber nicht zu freundlich oder willkommen! Das Zimmer war geräumig, ohne Spott sauber und das Bett und die Kissen waren super komfortabel! Ich würde diese Hotelgruppe nochmal wählen!
