Basic, aber komfortabel Zimmer. Erschwinglich und diente dem Zweck eines Schlafplatzes und einer warmen Dusche vor dem Überreden nach Heron Island. Personal war leicht zu behandeln und flexible bei unserer späten Ankunft. Ich denke nicht, das Frühstück ist verfügbar, was gut wäre, aber gleich, ob wir in einen örtlichen Café gehen.

We booked a room for a family of 4 in Dec 2021, on our way to a Heron Island dive holiday. Although the room was very small for four people, it was adequate, and good value considering it was only $90 for the night. The room was unlocked when we arrived and a txt told us the key would be inside. We saw no motel staff at all during our stay. We left the room the next morning unlocked with the key inside, as we usually do. After our holiday we noticed the charge on our bank statement was $130 rather than $90 as quoted?? I emailed the motel enquiring why and an email sent from someone’s phone read (in verbatim): “During the clean there was missing pillows out of the rooms so there has been a surcharge, Regaurds management”. I replied via email, stating that we didn’t take any pillows, and that our bags were already fully packed with not only clothes but dive equipment and Christmas presents. Also, being without a car we would have had to carry any stolen pillows in the taxi and on the ferry to Heron Island and back. If indeed any pillows were actually missing from the room they may well have been taken prior to us arriving, since the room was left unlocked for us. I informed them that I find it very unprofessional for a business to charge above the quoted price without firstly seeking an explanation regarding the need for the extra charge, and it being unscrupulous for them not informing us of the extra charge. I took offence to the presumption of theft and of their dishonest practices and requested a full refund, else I would post up on TripAdvisor. I received no reply from the motel, nor to my follow-up email a week later. I would recommend if you have to stay at Rusty’s pay in cash as they cannot be trusted with your credit card details.

Sehr freundliches und praktisches Hotel, sehr geeignet für Touristen auf der Insel in Gladstone. Der Ladenbesitzer wird am nächsten Tag zum Hafen fahren. Außerdem helfen Sie kostenlos, unsere zusätzlichen Gepäck in dem Laden für vier Tage zu lagern und zurück nach der Insel zu holen. Sehr gut, absolut empfohlen!

Ich war hier schon mal, es hat den besten Sonnenuntergang, aber über die Zeit ist die Parkaussicht ausgebaut. Große Lage, die neuen Renovierungen sind ausgezeichnet, keine Taschentücher und alle scharfen Fliesen... Badezimmer groß, Betten groß... Kissen perfekt ... alles, was ein Block will!!! Ich werde nicht die Gewährungsrate erwähnen... Ich werde nur sagen, sie verdienen mehr für das Zimmer, aber Marktpreis für Queensland ist Pflaumen für diese Qualität! Viele andere Einheiten sind leer! Großes Motel, frisch und sauber!!

Wir haben die 2-Zimmer-Wohnung gebucht. Ich kann das Zimmer überhaupt nicht schuldig machen. Sehr sauber, neu und heimlich und Management waren schön Die einzige negative war das WiFi, obwohl wir das Passwort erhalten würden nicht für uns arbeiten wir waren dort für eine Woche und die Moskitos ...Lord weiß, wie sie einkommen, aber wir wurden während der Nacht im Bett jeden Abend. Kein Flugspray in den Zimmern, das wäre handlich gewesen. Gladstone selbst ist nicht groß und ausblick waren ziemlich viele Raffinerien und Schmelz auf dem Wasser. Aber diese Unterkunft war nur richtig wirklich. Die Zimmer können serviert werden, aber sie belasten Sie extra dafür und der Autoraum war ziemlich klein.
