Fantastische Lage im Zentrum der Stadt. Zimmer geräumig. Das Frühstück und das Restaurantpersonal waren sehr hilfreich. Tramhalte direkt außerhalb des Hotels auch, was ein großer Plus ist.

Das Gebäude ist 600 Jahre alt und liegt in einer sehr guten Lage; die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Allerdings ist die Schalldämmung nicht optimal, und Steckdosen befinden sich nur im Badezimmer, was etwas unpraktisch ist. Bezüglich der in Bewertungen erwähnten Kaution: Eine Kaution von 50 £ in bar wird akzeptiert und beim Auschecken zurückerstattet, was sehr praktisch ist.

As a location, I think this is a very nice hotel to stay in; however, for a 5-star hotel, I expected a much higher level of service.  We were disappointed by several issues during our stay. First, housekeeping knocked on our door around 8 a.m., waking us up to ask if we needed cleaning. We requested the service, but when we returned to our room around 3 p.m., it had not been cleaned. Even after we went out to dinner and returned later that evening, the room was still not cleaned. Additionally, while my friend and I were resting in the room, the door had not been closed properly and was slightly open. A hotel staff then opened the door without knocking, which made us feel very uncomfortable. Another issue occurred when my friend ordered food via Deliveroo. The order was marked as delivered, but we could not find it. We asked the lobby ambassador for assistance, but she was not helpful at all. We eventually found the order ourselves, placed on the concierge desk. Overall, the service from the staff was very disappointing and felt cold and unwelcoming. While I would recommend the hotel for its location, the level of service was far below what I would expect from a 5-star hotel.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Die meisten malerischen Orte sind zu Fuß erreichbar und es liegt auch ganz in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Das Hotelzimmer ist nicht groß und die Ausstattung insgesamt relativ alt, aber trotzdem sauber. Die Aussicht aus der siebten Etage ist sehr gut!

Ein großartiges Zimmer für uns ist sehr groß und freundlich. Sie können überall mit Bussen von einem sehr einfachen Flughafen zugänglich sein. Wir haben mit 100 Airlink Busfirmen für 2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind 20 Pfund für die Rückkehr gezahlt. Wir sind auf der Haltestelle, die vom Hotel entfernt ist, und von der ganzen Restaurants und der ganzen Touristen.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel that other travellers should know what to expect. I stayed in a single room on the top floor and was very disappointed, especially considering the price. The room was much smaller than I had expected and felt rather cramped. I paid £136 through Trip.com, even with a discount, and I simply did not feel that the room offered value for money. The room looked tired and dated. The carpet did not look very fresh, the furniture was old-fashioned but not in a charming or historic way, and there were marks on the walls that could easily have been touched up. The bedside lamp also appeared to be damaged, as the lampshade was noticeably crooked and could not be adjusted. I would also like to mention that the room and bathroom were clean, and the bed linen was fresh and clean. I knew when I booked that the room did not include a safe or a fridge, as this was mentioned in the description. However, for a four-star hotel at this price, I still feel that a safe and at least a small fridge should be provided. The television was also very small, and overall the room felt very basic for the price and hotel rating. The bathroom itself was a reasonable size, but it was not very practical. There was no shelf above the sink for toiletries, which was inconvenient. In the shower, the large shampoo and conditioner bottles were placed on the floor of the shower, meaning I had to keep bending down to reach them. I would also like to mention that access to the upper floors involves a very steep spiral staircase. I was aware that there was no lift, but I did not expect the staircase to be so steep and difficult to climb. As I was not comfortable in the room, I asked whether it might be possible to move to a different room. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms available. I had originally planned to stay in Edinburgh for another night, but I decided to move to a different hotel instead. The location of the hotel is good and convenient for Waverley Station, and the staff were polite and friendly. However, my overall experience did not meet my expectations for a four-star hotel, especially at this price. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

Im Allgemeinen beurteilt man die Wohnung nicht, dieses Mal muss man beurteilen, es ist ein Volksbewohner, das Zimmer ist nicht schlecht, es ist in der Schleife, aber im dritten Stock, es gibt keine Leitung, die Treppe mit altersgefühl muss mit dem Sack gehoben werden, die Rezeption ist nicht hilfreich, Und unser Zimmer ist in der Straße und schläft nicht.

Das Hotelfenster bot einen perfekten Blick auf Edinburgh Castle und die darunterliegenden Gartenbrunnen. Die Zimmer waren neu und komplett ausgestattet. Der Weg mit dem Gepäck vom Bahnhof Edinburgh war etwas weit. Es gibt ein anderes Hotel, das Primere, das näher am Bahnhof liegt. Eine angenehme Überraschung war jedoch die Nähe zum Dorf Dean, das laut Navigationssystem in 10–13 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Ich habe insgesamt zwei Nächte dort verbracht. Das Hotel war hauptsächlich von britischen Einheimischen besucht; ich habe keine anderen chinesischen Gäste getroffen.

Ausgezeichnetes Hotel, große Unterkunft, schönes Frühstück und sehr freundliches Rezeption Personal. Lage perfekt für Stadturlaub
