Die Lage ist sehr gut, 5 Autominuten von Penguin Island entfernt, es gibt einen Parkplatz, einfach einzuchecken, sauber, komplette Ausstattung, es ist rätselhaft, dass das Schlafzimmer keine Klimaanlage hat, aber in dieser Saison ist das kein Problem, das Wohnen Zimmerklimatisierung ist ausreichend.

Wir gingen mit einer anderen Familie und zusammen hatten wir drei 6-jährige Mädchen. Wir liebten die Fähigkeit, einfach nur wenige Meter zu Fuß zum Strand und auch wenige Meter zu Fuß zum Pool und Außen spa. Der Pool/Spa ist ein Präfekt für Erwachsene und Kinder, die zusammen genießen. Ich habe dort fast zwanzig Jahre geblieben und vor einigen Jahren habe ich auf einer weichen Mattress geblieben, aber ich bin froh, dass dieses Mal alles perfekt war. Die Zimmer sind so weich, sauber und haben alles, was wir brauchen. Der beste Teil, den ich über den Aufenthalt in Kaloha genießen kann, ist das Frühstück auf den bbqs am späten Morgen zu kochen, während die Kinder rund umlaufen können und genießen das Spielfeld oder Jumping Schloss.

Wir hatten gerade eine Woche im Resort und genossen unserem Aufenthalt gründlich. Alles Personal war freundlich und die zwei Schlafzimmer Villa war perfekt für unsere Bedürfnisse. Große Küche, die alles hatte, was wir brauchen, um unsere eigenen Mahlzeiten zu kochen. Das Wohnzimmer war eine gute Seite und das Bad hatte eine Bad, eine große Wassertemperatur. Gratis-WLAN funktionierte wirklich gut und der Platz war sehr sauber und warm. Wir hatten eine Deckung mit Outdoor-Möbeln, die Villas sind alle einzeln und in einer schönen Bush-Stellung, die Boden sind alle gut gepflegt, die Arbeiter sind immer besetzt, gut auf ihnen. Wir genossen den Innenpool und den Innen- und Außenwarmbad. Sie mussten jeden Tag anrufen, um eine Zeit für den Innenraum zu buchen. Wir haben das jeden Morgen für eine späte Nachmittagssitzung getan, es funktionierte gut. Es gibt zwei Turnhallen, zwei Pool-Komplexe am Ende dieses großen Resorts auch Tennisplätze, Grills, Spielzimmer, die die Kinder lieben und Pedalkarten. Ich denke, dieser Ort wäre sehr besetzt während der Urlaubszeit . Geh jeden Tag in die Stadt, dauert etwa 40 Minuten zum Hafen, gute Übung. Es gibt ein Restaurant auf der Website, aber kann nicht kommentieren, wie wir nie dort essen. Ein großer Ort zum Aufenthalt, wir freuen uns auf die Rückkehr.

WLAN ist sehr schnell und stabil. Die Bettwäsche ist mit weißen Laken bezogen und sehr sauber. 3 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand, 10 Minuten zum Supermarkt, umgeben von einer Vielzahl von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Essen und Spielen sind sehr praktisch, ebenso chinesische Restaurants. Der chinesische Chef ist sehr begeistert und beschreibt die lustigen Attraktionen auf Phillip Island. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Unfortunately, it was not the relaxing getaway my fiancée and I thought it would be. We're not very hard to please and are happy to stay mostly anywhere as long as there's a comfy bed and quiet. We stayed two nights in the garden villa which was the most premium and expensive room on offer, expecting a secluded and private area to ourselves, which for the most part is what we got. Visually, the garden surrounding the villa is stunning with a delightful view of greenery and nature, and there is no one else who stays in that area behind the main building. The room itself was eclectic in decor which was a welcome change to stay somewhere with unique tastes as opposed to the usual and generic designs of modern accommodation. The spa in the room was great and worked very well, it was warm and the jets were functioning fine. However, we had the horrible luck of staying on two nights where there was a family, with children, staying directly above us. The ceiling feels like it's paper thin and you can hear every footstep that people are taking above, specifically when they walk down the hallway to use the bathroom (yes you can tell their movements due to the 10 - 12 steps they take followed soon after by the sound of a toilet flushing and then another 10 - 12 steps and someone going down stairs). This would usually be semi-bearable, as the occasional sound of someone walking back and forth is still annoying, but fine. But as mentioned earlier, there were children staying up there and they insisted on running back and forth down that hallway so many times throughout the day, and especially the early morning, that it became extremely frustrating to hear. I tried to take an afternoon nap when we arrived after being so exhausted from the travel and was woken up by the sound of thumping footsteps running back and forth. As these two nights were supposed to be our little getaway from our own kids, and a chance for us to have a relaxing sleep in, we wanted to nip this problem in the bud immediately. We reported the noise to the proprietor Jenni on the first night, Jenni was very friendly and assured us that she would speak to the family about the kids' running around. We later spoke over the phone again to the other proprietor, Harley who was also very friendly (and characteristically humourous) about the situation, reassuring us that the family had been spoken to. Harley also mentioned that the family was in fact, their own family visiting from the UK (as this site also appears to be the actual residence of the two proprietors). I am unsure of the logistics of this situation, but personally, I believe that having your own family members stay at the location, but cause disruption to the paying customers, is an unfair and detrimental business decision. The next morning I was woken up at approximately 7:00am to the sound of children's feet running back and forth and thumping above me again. We stayed at the Waves for 3 nights and it was a perfect stay. In an amazing location looking out to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the main *****, could not get a better location. It was so clean and tidy absolutely immaculate it looked clean and even little things like the doonas smelt clean. I would more recommend to smaller families so 3 or less children otherwise it might get a bit snug. Staff was very friendly as well and car parking is provided that is safe and secure. Cooking wise there is a stove top and a pan, not a very good pan more aiming for patrons to go out and support the community. There is free WIFI there too, worked like a treat.

Hilltop Apartments is a beautiful building of six apartments on the edge of Cowes and close to The Nobbies and the penguin parade. I booked the Garden Apartment on the ground floor. It was very clean and beautifully furnished. However, I felt unsafe there. It was surrounded by windows and I felt like I was in a fishbowl. There were privacy blinds on the side of the apartment fronting the entry to the other apartments, but none on the windows in the living area and bedroom fronting the car park and path to another apartment. Unfortunately there was a person staying in one of the other apartments who kept wandering around on his own outside the apartments and he made me feel uncomfortable. If you choose to stay there (and you should as it is lovely), select one of the upstairs apartments perhaps. Avoid the downstairs apartment closest to the car park.
