This visit to Marco Polo truly saddened me. If you read some of my past reviews of this hotel I noted it was my favorite place to stay anywhere in the world. This was my first post Covid visit and I was shocked and disappointed. - Basic maintenance has not been completed. For example, there is a glass elevator that goes to Blu their rooftop restaurant. This elevator was out of order and when I asked why I was told “Covid.” Covid travel restrictions were lifted a long time ago and that’s no excuse. In a second example, we returned to our room after a long night and the key did not work. It turned out the battery in the electronic device on the door needed to be replaced and the front desk understand the issue immediately, so this must happen often. Good hotels replace these batteries on a schedule so the guests never suffer from dead batteries. - Service, which used to be outstanding?@, is now unacceptable. First, the English language skills of most employees we encountered were sub par. Second, the person who checked me in was being trained, so the check in process was very slow. Third, service at the poolside bar during lunch was slow, the waitstaff inattentive and they failed to include my banana shake on the bill so as we are leaving the grab us and give us a second bill to pay. Fourth, service at breakfast was terrible. I had to ask for black tea three times before I got it, seeking some out 3 times as no one ever came to check on us. When we arrived around 9 AM there was no bacon (later replenished with bacon that looked so bad I did not even try it, fatty and not crisp), there was 1 banana, which was never replenished, there were no juice glasses (later replenished). The food quality was adequate but not nearly up to pre-Covid standards. Overall the service was lacking. - I was also disappointed that the lobby lounge, which used to have live music every night now has piano music only and only 1 night per week I am told. - There was a cart of dirty linens in our hallway both days Some of these things are not expensive or hard to fix. It doesn’t cost a lot to have live music in the lounge nightly as there are lots of singers groups looking for opportunities. It doesn’t cost a lot to make sure you change door card batteries regularly Others are basic requirements if doing business. For example you don’t leave a glass elevator to one of the most expensive restaurants in Cebu out of order for month/years. I am purchasing a condo unit in Marco Polo residences and expected to regularly visit the hotel for meals/drinks, but if this is the quality and service we can expect, then I will not be utilizing their services.

Große Stadtblick. Zimmergröße ist über dem Durchschnitt bedeuten größere als andere Deluxe Seda Zimmer, die wir haben. Mixed resto ist mit einem großen Blick, aber es kann leicht zu voll und füllen dauert Zeit, insbesondere die Bacon. Es gibt direkten Zugang zum Mall, das ist eine gute Sache, aber es gibt noch nicht viel im Central Block Mall, aber die Grundstücke sind da. Es könnte 5 Sterne gewesen sein, wenn nicht für das Front Desk, das in der Mitte der Nacht 10:30 Uhr angerufen. Sie unterbrachen unser Schlaf wegen eines Fehlers. Wir schliefen, als sie gerufen hatten, zu fragen, ob wir mit dem Eisen und dem Brett getan sind, was wir vorher gefragt haben, aber abgelehnt, weil es nicht verfügbar war. Andererseits war es ein toller 2N/3D. Wir kommen zurück, wenn in der Stadt.

I had a wonderful Christmas Hotel 2022 Staycation experience courtesy of the Main Hotel and Suites located in Barangay Banilad in the City of Cebu. This is my 21st Hotel-Resort-Farm-Campground Staycation in total here in Cebu since Christmas 2020. I instantly noticed most of their guests are foreign tourists. I easily feel the warmth the moment they welcomed me and I could feel at home away from home with their kind and accommodating staff like the  Housekeeping personnel, Irene Tolentino who carry my traveling bag to my standard queen room while having my vlogging, and Stanlee Montecalvo for the maintenance for something that needs to be fixed with Security Guard Jonathan Mendoza who act as my cameraman and delivered all my needs in the room. All these things are made possible by Front Office Associate Joyce Villanueva from the booking reservations up until our constant communication as she instantly answered all my queries and requests weeks before my stay. I got the biggest surprise when I was given that amazing Christmas gift hotel room upgrade on that Christmas morning when Front Office Associate Sheila Matuguina handed me the key for the Main Suite Room with a king-size bed, a sofa, a spacious shower & toilet, a personal refrigerator, a kettle, safety deposit box and has a small balcony overlooking the city view. I could still remember this beautiful serene Christmas night when I powered off all the lights while I was seating on top of my big king-size mattress with large soft pillows at my back and on my head while leaning on the wall. I was deeply mesmerized by the beauty of the city by night from the main suite room window. I couldn't imagine that I can have this kind of wonderful celebration on Christmas night blessed with good weather and a good climate. Two years ago, we were in quarantine and social distancing with strict protocol to follow brought by the Covid-19 pandemic, and a year ago, we are to deal with the devastating aftermath of super typhoon Odette without power, no water supply, limited supply of food, most houses were destroyed and several families were homeless. No wonder they have been awarded Tripadvisor's Travelers' Choice Award winning for consecutive years for the kind of service they have given me. With this track record, now I know the reason why travelers both local and foreign nationals choose to stay here because I, myself personally experience it.

Es war mein erstes Schlafen in einem der Kondo-Zimmer im Quest Hotel, und ich muss sagen: Das Zimmer ist wirklich geräumig und hat sogar komplette Küchenausstattung (wie Toaster, Backofen und Mikrowelle). Das Zimmer ist bequem, um sich in zu bewegen. Wi-Fi funktioniert schnell und das Buffet war erstaunlich. Es war eine wunderbare Erfahrung für meine Cousins und ich. Ich werde nächstes Mal wieder kommen. :)

New building, nice and spacious rooms, they clean everyday and change towels. Refills of coffee and water. Complete amenities with your own kitchen refrigerator water kettle and dining area. Nice double beds. City view 😍 and nice swimming pool. They have great restaurant at the roof deck with great menu and 360 view of the city. Accomodating and helpful staff. It would be nice to be back.

Wunderbares Hotel etwa 5-6 Minuten zu Fuß zum Ayala Center. Die Zimmerqualität und die Gästeservices sind ausgezeichnet. Alles funktioniert! Super komfortable Bett, gute Größe Zimmer und Badezimmer, moderne, großer Klimaanlage. und eine breite Palette von Kabel-TV-Kanälen. Sehr gut verwaltetes Hotel und großer Wert bei weniger als 2.500 pesos pro Nacht. Das Frühstück ist für Filipinos geeignet, so habe ich das Restaurant nur einmal versucht. Eine Anregung ist, den australischen Kanal in die Liste der Kabel-TV-Optionen hinzuzufügen.

Ok, ich beginne bei 3 Sternen, um zu bieten, was ich bezahlt habe und geht dort auf oder runter. Ich fühle mich, ich habe einen guten Wert für das Geld, das ich bezahlt habe. Ich habe online gebucht und einen erheblichen Rabatt (bezahlt 1400 PHP) auf den Standardsatz. Für die Philippinen ist es ein guter Versuch auf einem hohen Ende westlichen Hotel, aber nicht ganz. Die Gegend ist gut, sicher, Einrichtungen und in der Nähe der Innenstadt und IT Park. Mein Zimmer war riesig! Sie konnten Basketball in ihm spielen 🤣. Gutes Bett und Bettwäsche. Dusche und Badezimmer gut. Kettle, Kaffee und Wasser geliefert. Smart TV großartig, Ich habe es eingeloggt, wer’s Netflix es bereits in war, you’re welcome ☺️. Jetzt die ify bits. Hinweis, Sie müssen b! tch wiederholt, um Dinge zu beheben. Das Internet ist schambolisch. Es läuft bei 5MBps. Ich beschwerte mich und sie installierten einen Router in meinem Zimmer. Das funktionierte eigentlich nicht richtig und konnte nicht gestört werden, um zu kämpfen, so installierte ich meinen Reiserouter. Schnellbläsende (50MBps) Internet 😊. Kein Kühlschrank in dem Zimmer 🤷‍♂️😞. Der Ort ist neu, aber nicht gut gepflegt, ein Philippinen Problem überall. Regenfall Dusche sprühte nach oben, um das Badezimmer zu schütteln. Funky führte Licht auf die Fässer war sehr los, nur eine Sache der Zeit, bevor die Rohre brechen. Grime starting to build up in the corners. BOTTOM LINE - it’s good for the 1400 PHP I paid but I would be disappointed at the full rate. Wow, you read all this 😳. Pls hit the helpful button 👍

Das Gebäude ist neu, weniger als ein Jahr alt. Ich wähle Cebu Familie Suiten, weil ich eine Suite anstatt ein Hotel wollte. Ich wollte die größere Größe einer Suite, aber der größte Differenzierungsfaktor ist, eine Küche zu haben, da ich gerne mindestens ein kochiertes Hause pro Tag haben, wenn ich reise. Es gibt einen Grundgeschäft im Lobby, wo man einige Zutaten kaufen kann. Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, arrangieren Transport und Mahlzeiten. Ausstattung umfasst ein Fitnessraum und ein großes Funktionszimmer. Frühstück ist enthalten. Es war ein relativ kurzer Aufenthalt für mich diese Zeit, aber bei meinem nächsten Besuch werde ich definitiv hier wieder bleiben. Und zu diesen Preisen kann ich es mir erlauben, länger zu bleiben.

Ich würde es 3/5 für meinen 3-Nacht-Stadt geben! Die Zimmer waren sauber und ruhig. Es ist von der Lautmusik oder Geräusche von anderen Orten entfernt. Die Zimmer sind auch neu. Es ist günstig, so dass Sie erhalten, was Sie bezahlt haben. Die Mitarbeiter am Front Desk können ein wenig mehr willkommen sein, ehrlich zu sein. Sie werden sich nur auf Sie beobachten, wenn Sie vor der Rezeption passieren, vor allem während der Nachmittagszeiten-Schicht Mädchen und Junge und die 2 Jungs am Morgen sind die kalteste Person je. Ich denke, was fehlt! Sie finden es schwer, Ihnen sogar einen Hi oder hallo zu heißen! Sie sollten von den Mitarbeitern der 3-Sterne-Hotels in Bohol oder Palawan lernen. Obwohl ihr Hotel nicht neu ist, sie sogar die Erfahrung mit einem ehrlichen und willkommenen Lächeln aus. Es wäre auch besser gewesen, wenn sie eine Minibar oder eine Wasserkocher, um etwas Kaffee oder etwas zu haben. Wenn Sie auf einem Budget und keine Probleme mit unweltfreundlichen Mitarbeiter im Hotel, Dieses Hotel wird empfohlen!

The location of MJ Hotel & Suites was very convenient. It was only a short walking distance from a major mall (Ayala Mall) where food stores are abundant and ATM machines are easy to find. The hotel staff are helpful and quick to respond to room service requests. Particularly appreciated that when I first enter my room it smelled fresh and clean. I like it very much that there are sachets of service coffee available in the room along with a water heater. Cold drinking water is also free 24/7 because there is a service water dispenser on every floor. The room is spacious. For someone like me who travels for work, the best thing is a good wifi connection, and this hotel has it. A little bit of a downside is the lack of a working table lamp for some guests like myself who works at night on my laptop and needs sufficient lighting. But overall, this hotel is a good value for the money spent. Looking forward to staying again in MJ Hotel next time I will be in Cebu.

Pros: Alles brandneu, guter Service Cons: Blind zwischen Bad und Schlafzimmer aus der Schlafzimmerseite. Im zweiten Zimmer Nov-2022 für 1 Nacht (um zu sehen, ob es wert ist, zurückzukehren). 2*Lifts, die schön waren innerlich, aber keine Hilfe mit Gepäck. Die Safe wurde nicht auf die Möbel gebohrt. Alles war brandneu, wurde vom Empfänger gesagt:103 Zimmer, 40 verfügbar, 30 Gäste heute Abend. Hotel eröffnet in October-2022. Kettle, Tassen und Kaffee. Gute Dusche. Die Blinde, die das große Badfenster abdeckt, das das Schlafzimmer vom Bad trennen, ist von der Seite des Schlafzimmers (anstatt des Innenbads) zugänglich. Buchung und Aufenthalt im Doppelzimmer und ein Telefongespräch, der mich fragte, ob ich lieber in ein Doppelzimmer wechseln würde.
