Il personale di Palazzo San Giorgio è molto disponibile e competente, mi ha fornito tutte le informazioni che ho richiesto durante il mio soggiorno (indicazioni stradali, ristoranti, musei ecc). Ho alloggiato una notte in una bellissima ed elegante junior suite, luminosa ed estremamente pulita. Ho trovato l’arredamento dell’intera struttura molto moderno e curato nei minimi dettagli. Quello che mi è piaciuto di più è stata la colazione….buffet vastissimo e tanta scelta anche alla carta. Sebbene sia molto bella la spa non è grandissima e questo la rende un ambiente accogliente. Super raccomandato!!

Ich bin um 19.00 Uhr geplant, aber wegen des Autobahnverkehrs sind wir mit einer halben Stunde zu spät gekommen, obwohl der Besitzer uns mit Freundlichkeit begrüßt hat. Die Zimmer sind groß und das Badezimmer ist im Zimmer. Das Frühstück war nicht im Preis enthalten, aber es wurde uns gentlemen angeboten. Parkplatz mit kostenloser Entfernung 2 Minuten. Eine Sünde ohne Dusche-Kit und Lärmkonditionierer. Sehr guter Preis

Kurz technische Pause für die Fortsetzung unserer Reise, die Wahl kommt zu diesem B&B, die, im Verhältnis zu den Kosten von paritätischen Umgebungsstrukturen, uns angenehmen getroffen hat. Im Rahmen eines historischen Hauses hat das uns zugewiesene Zimmer einen Blick in den Hof: das gleiche möbliert mit viel Geschmack und Sübrie, Sauberkeit und Komfort. Die zentrale Vermietung, zwei Schritte von Villa Bellini, ist für die verschiedenen Abendräume sehr bequem. Gute Referenz, gut gemacht!

If you are going to Catania, Sicily, a good hotel choice is Umberto House. We stayed there for seven nights in August 2021. It is in a great location with lots of shops, restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies, markets, and only half a block from Borghese Gardens—a nice refuge from the hustle and bustle. It is located on the first and second European floors of an apartment building. What sets this hotel apart is the Manager/Owner, Senior Salvatore, who himself lives in an apartment in the same building. Pride of ownership is everywhere. The place is spotless and nicely decorated. Unlike sterile hotel rooms, the décor here really make you feel like you are in a home in Italy. Senior Salvo was available 24/7 for anything. He was very helpful in securing a Covid PCR test for our return to the United States. He called the lab for us and even walked to the pharmacy to make sure that they knew about us coming. When we arrived, he patiently showed us two different rooms and let us decide which one we wanted. We chose the room on the second floor with a balcony. Although a bit noisier than the first-floor quieter room, it was large, with lots of light, a wardrobe, and plenty of desk and counter space. It even had a chandelier on the ceiling. Breakfast was included. There was a good selection of cereal, yogurt, cold cuts, cheese, varied juices, bread, Italian pastries, fresh fruit, and made to order coffee. There was a quiet patio seating area which was perfect for Covid social distancing. We will definitely return to Umberto House for our next visit to Catania.

Veniamo a conoscenza di questa struttura grazie a consigli di amici... E mai consiglio fu più azzeccato. Il TH Luxury Central è una struttura aperta da qualche mese. Super tecnologica, molto pulita e profumatissima (soprattutto il corridoio e gli asciugamani in bagno dei quali mi sono letteralmente innamorata). È tutto curato nei minimi dettagli. La proprietaria, la signora Rossella, e la responsabile della struttura, la signora Deborah, non le ho mai incontrate perché come dicevo è una struttura super tecnologica. Il check in si effettua con Deborah tramite whatsapp e telefono (e vi posso assicurare che è gentilissima ed estremamente disponibile). A distanza la signora apre sia il portone del palazzo, sia l'appartamento (che si trova al 5 piano con ascensore) che la camera. Una volta aperta la camera si troverà sul comodino una carta magnetica che servirà ad aprire tutte le porte autonomamente durante tutto il soggiorno. La mattina si viene accolti da una splendida ragazza che si occupa della pulizia della struttura, gentilissima, educata e precisa nel suo lavoro. La struttura si trova nel bel mezzo del mercato Fera o' Luni e questo dà quindi la possibilità di sbizzarrirsi già da subito con lo shopping. La sera (noi siamo stati durante un weekend) c'è un po' di confusione data dal passaggio delle macchine che si parcheggiano nelle strade circostanti per dirigersi verso la movida catanese che è a un passo (le stanze affacciano sulla strada ma con la finestra chiusa il rumore è minimo). Le stanze hanno un piccolo terrazzino dove è possibile godere della visuale dell'Etna. Il servizio colazione non è offerto, ma la cosa non è assolutamente un problema perché sia sotto la struttura, sia a pochi passi ci sono tanti bar nei quali si possono gustare i tipici dolci siciliani. Il TH Luxury Central è facilmente raggiungibile dall'aeroporto tramite la navetta Alibus che ferma a 200 mt (noi abbiamo comunque preferito affidarci a un ncc). Non vediamo l'ora di tornarci!

Ausgezeichnete Lage im Zentrum von Catania, nahe dem Platz Stesicoro und der Straße Etnea. Sehr großes Zimmer mit wirklich bequem Bett. Frühstück reichhaltig und variabel (süß und salzig). Unter dem B&B gibt es den Flussmarkt, der in den ersten Stunden des Morgens etwas laut sein könnte. Die Zimmer sind trotzdem gut geräuschlos. In der Nähe der Struktur gibt es viele Restaurants und lokale für junge Menschen. Die Besitzerin ist sehr gut verfügbar. Wir waren gut.
